This was our first Jet Boat Experience. We were not sure what to expect when we got to the meeting place: Touvelle State Park. As we started going up the river to rattlesnake bar, the boat began to speed up and did a sudden stop and we saw waves of water going above our heads on both sides of the boat. At this our daughter said, "This is just like when Moses parted the Red Sea." I could see our other daughter grip the handle bars as hard as she could. We then sped up again and started gliding on top of the river. The boat was cutting from one bank to another and even did an entire spin until it came to a halt. After this our daughter released the handle bars a bit and started enjoying it as she felt as if she was on a wild rollercoaster ride.We had an amazing experience. Got wet, learned about Rogue River history and the surrounding area. We would highly recommend that you have Rogue Jet Boat Adventure on the top of your bucket list when you visit Southern Oregon. They are located just out of the Central Point/ Medford area under the Table Rocks. They offer tours four times daily during the months of April through September. read more

My husband and I found this rogue jet boat tour on a spontaneous trip to Ashland! We googled "things to do in Ashland" and this popped up. We didn't come here for the purpose of seeing the river but we would absolutely come back solely for this excursion! We went for the 9:30 am slot and were a little bit worried that we wouldn't get the full experience so early but it was so incredible! What a great day trip this is. We took our first Rogue Jet Boat Adventure, out of Trouville State Park today. Check in was so easy and with great staff. This was our 24th anniversary gift to each other and we had such a GREAT time! John, our Captain took us up/down the Rogue River and pointed out interesting facts about the history of the Rogue Valley. Then we stopped for a short break to get out an explore Discovery Park, where ALL the staff was so very nice. We found out they have scheduled concerts at the park, that we will be attending. More fun than Hellgate and a more small group experience The river was beautiful and our boat pilot made it fun.The only reason to take off one star was the pilot talked too fast during the " historical site" stuff. I know he had alot of material he wanted to cover but even for a native English speaker, it was hard to catch all of it. Either slow down the narrative or talk about fewer things? Otherwise. It's a nice short ride to the island with lots of fun twist and turns in the boat. What a great trip!!! My niece and daughter wanted to head down the rogue so we picked these guys. The boat experience was excellent and the discovery park far exceeded expectations. Paddle boarding, fishing, beer and food were all a part of the 45 minute stop on the river at a private lake/pond. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a terrific time on our tour! Loved the small boat as it made the tour seem very personal. Our guide was great...very knowledgeable about the area, history, etc as well as a generally fun guy. We all enjoyed the spins and waves. I wasn't sure I would like getting wet but it was only enough to be refreshing on a very warm evening. Glad we did the 5:45 tour as it probably would have been too hot during the day in mid-July. Enjoyed the break on their island as well. Kids fished a bit and went out in a paddle boat on their small lake. Everyone from my 80 year old dad to my 11 year old son said it was the highlight of our vacation. read more

My family and I took this ride the other day and we had the best time. My 4 year olds were in heaven and my teenager had a huge smile on his face the whole trip. Our boat operator was fun, had stories and did lots of 360's with the boat. They run smaller boats, in shallower areas of the Rogue River. It's a very personalized trip and they point out things of interest on the river including wildlife and famous homes like Jim Blushi's house. Part way through the trip you stop at their island to hang out, get beer or non alcoholic drinks, snacks, ice cream etc... There is swimming, a play structure for the kids, paddle boats and fishing. This was the best trip. I can't imagine another operator would be better. You need to book with them for your next trip down the river. read more

We are SO glad we took our jet boat trip with these guys on our trip to Klamath Falls! Our pilot was awesome (so sorry, can't for sure remember his name, John maybe?) He had great local knowledge and showed us all the great houses along the Rogue, including Jim Belushi's nice spread on the river. Stopped for some drinks and snacks at Discovery Cove halfway through. Nice lake for canoeing, fishing, cornhole games, chairs and misters. Nice touches. This ride way sooooo much fun! Even for my kiddos! Super kid friendly, I had a 2 and 3 year old! Be prepared to get soaked! So go on a hot day! I learned a ton, saw super cool houses, had a thrilling ride. All and all it made for a great day, especially the ice cream stop mid ride! I highly recommend this company. Our Ashland B&B group of same-time-next-year friends (aged 50-something to 60-something) decided on a power boat trip on the Rogue River as the 2015 outing. I gave in to the consensus not really expecting to enjoy the hours in the sun listening to engine noises and friends screaming as they get splashed from the manufactured thrill of sudden turns on water. The tour in real life was so much better than I expected! Okay, we got some spray but Taylor, the boat captain, kept the wetness to a civilized level (especially since we were in the first, coolish boat run of the day). More importantly, the Taylor was extremely knowledgeable about the local history of the Valley and the current residents along the river. The ride itself was comfortable and full of scenic landscape and close up wildlife. The trip felt personal and aimed for relaxation. I especially appreciated that Taylor spent additional five minutes or so at the end of the trip (when the time couldn't be made up) so that we could watch a boat of fishermen reel in a line-caught salmon. The estimate of the fish's size was 30 pounds, and watching the end of the fight was intense. These folks are local, involved, and very worth patronizing. read more

This tour was amazing! The bot driver was super knowledgeable. My husband , 6 and 4 year old son and my 8 month old baby plus me went on this tour. I was nervous at first that my baby would be able to be in the ergo carrier on me.. they were so pleasant and let me hold him the whole time. He fell asleep on the tour!!! :) the driver did spins but didn't soak us :) but he will if you want to get wet :) then we go to this little island to eat lunch. You have to bring your own food. I recommend doing this!! So fun!! Where a hat, glasses and sunscreen!! Headphones for kids if the sit in back near engine for kids that are sensitive to noise. read more

The tour guide and owner Taylor was so informative about the area yet in a very interesting way. I grew up in the Rogue Valley yet learned stuff I never knew.
