This is always a great choice. I had a chance to enjoy their rolls at a Britt festival in 2025 and at 2026. I wish that at the Grants Pass Porchfest when I asked for my tuna poke salad to be with no sauce the order taking person didn't spend as much time telling me what "no sauce" means and instead wrote down my order correctly and didn't give me a bowl (included rice I ended up giving away and didn't get the salad amount I really wanted). PS the salmon hand roll name is misleading - it's spicy; it's finely chopped salmon that is marinated in something so spicy other places would definitely list it as a spicy item. Just really wish on a super busy event day when I tried to make it easier by saying I want no sauce they'd just take my order correctly and it would have saved them a serving of rice and I'd be a much happier customer. This is a new location for the Rogue Sushi food truck and they do a decent job making some tasty rolls and other items. The chef "Kernel" has worked at other sushi establishments in town and knows what he's doing. At first I was a little anxious about ordering sushi from a food truck (trailer), but after trying a few of their specials I was pleasantly rewarded. I can't give this place a full 5 stars because I am a bit disappointed in their raw tuna option. They use a previously frozen "saku" block of fish for making their sushi. It's good, but it's not the fresh tuna loin cut right from the fish that I prefer. They also make and serve some great Korean BBQ ribs (Kalbi ribs). They are marinated for hours in a garlic soy mixture and then grilled/baked to perfection. The inside of their kitchen looked clean and organized and the attitude of the chef and staff I found very friendly. The location of the trailer is a bit outside my usual travels, but worth a visit. They may end up moving closer into town but for now they are at the Old Barn Tavern. One more thing I might mention is they do catering. The only issue with that is they quoted me $75 a head! At first I was pleased with the food I got, but their main problem is speed. Their food is not consistent either. One time the food was great, the next too salty. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and it looked like someone had already chewed it and it tasted like a ton of soy sauce was added and no teriyaki. I will try one more time and we'll see. read more

Best place to get sushi in Grants pass!! The chef is very talented at what he does, and puts so much love into everything he makes, which reflects in how amazing the sushi is. They are so knowledgeable and sweet. I will keep coming back here with anticipation to try new rolls. I had the spicy tuna, and the the unagi roll and they were so delicious and fresh.
