A couple spicy scallop hand rolls, a crunchy dragon roll & some salmon sashimi. We wanted some albacore sashimi but were told they didn't have any. It was ready promptly when we arrived for pick up. Drove home & dug in. Everything was fresh & flavorful. The portions were good on the sashimi & we were pleasantly surprised with the items we received. We will be happy to get take out again from them until the restrictions are lifted & then we are looking forward to trying a dine-in experience.

The food is always great no matter what you order. I have to say the combination dinner of Beef Teriyaki and Tempura is my favorite. For us Matsukazu is worth the drive to Grants Pass and no other restaurant in the Rogue Valley beats it. Their teriyaki sauce is the best. We buy a few bottles of it whenever we eat there. If we run out we grab some at Cartwrights. We do blind test tastes with multiple teriyaki sauces. Hands down Matsukaze teriyaki is the best. It isn't as salty, it is sweeter.
