One thing about Atlanta, there's going to be a Mexican nearby which really makes some folks connoisseurs. There's a lot to choose from on this menu - which is okay. And if Mexican is not your thing, they have ground beef tacos with hard shell. Most times I've been, it's been easy to get seated quickly. They make great drinks! And that's probably what drives me back because the food is mid. The staff is friendly and always accommodating.

First of all, this is my very favorite Mexican restaurant in Atlanta.. outside of Super Rica! The food is perfectly prepared every time. We LOVE the Birria tacos and the fajitas are genuinely delicious. Vicky the bartender makes the BEST margaritas and her service is top notch. Highly, highly recommend.

Please forgive me for my lack luster pictures. I was in good heaven, and on my second margarita before I got it together to write a review. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Big plus. Ambiance and decor. Fun, vibrant. I likey the bathroom. Don't judge me...I've been to some places. The decor made me feel if sports bar and Mexico had a baby, this would be it. Staff. Fun and vibrant like the place. Not overbearing. And Food comes out quick. Food. Their table chips and salsa is so good. Light and salsa so garden fresh. Yum. I had the salmon and a fish taco. Oooh the fruit salsa on it and drizzle of sauce and fresh avocado was superb. Next time I'll have three. To wash it down I had a blue Margarita and passion fruit margarita. Try it with extra alcohol. Not a negative, but why not go all in. Love this spot can't wait to go back. There is so much more I want to try.

Nice little addition to the Chamblee scene. Been looking for a cool Mexican place and we have found it. Even though we came during covid, the place has a cool vibe. Bar that opens up to the patio with a good drink selection. I had the Rojo fajitas, which were very good. Rojo fajitas are shrimp, steak, chicken and pork with onions, peppers and squash. The fiancé had the chicken burrito. The burrito was very big and very tasty.

Just average for me - everything was "not bad"... food, service, value. Good location but there are spots with better atmosphere close by.

Today the Al pastor was a little bland but still love the happy hour menu. Tried the quesadilla…read morethat I don't think I would get again because the cheese was kind of bland as well. However I love their fresh tortillas here. What warrants another 5 stars is the carne asada. Some of the best I've ever had. Will honestly just come here when I want steak. I got medium rare and it's perfect. Also the coffee tres leches is to die for and rivals a good tiramisu. Also the classic margaritas are properly strong and just 1 has me feeling good The covered patio is to die for and so cozy even when it was raining today

For $56, I expected something more wow factor for my meal. However, it was mediocre Mexican food…read more Firstly, my burrito de langostino had shell bits inside! If I'm paying $19, I expect a flawless burrito. I was also confused as to why the menu labeled the item as langostino. It was a normal shrimp and quite deceptive to call it langostino (which translates to langoustine from Spanish). For the record, for a $19 burrito, I only received 3 "langostino" or "giant shrimp" which really was just a regular shrimp nestled in semi-cooked rice and bean. I did get 2 thin slices of avocado. The tacos taquero de bonemarrow was a simple taco with a side of bone marrow. For $28, I'd expect something with more substance and frankly, a little more seasoning. Tacos were quite bland and I luckily had a packet of salt in the car. The bone marrow was nice, but I wouldn't consider 4 small tacos and 1 bone marrow to be equivalent to $28. I saw good reviews online and wanted to try this place out to see Mexican food outside of CA. This place is mediocre and I'm certain there are other better places one can venture to in Atlanta. Service was okay. I called for takeout and paid in advance for my order. Parking is in an apartment complex building (maybe?) and you do have to walk out to find the store.

Stopped in for lunch. Wanted to see what the hype is all about…read more Located in a busy plaza. Parking and driving in there can be a little tight. Go to the counter or straight to the bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Heated outdoor area. Order at the counter, secure your seating and they will bring your food. Food was good. Ingredients made sense, but the fish taco was skimpy on ingredients- in my opinion. Staff, were phenomenal. From the register to when I took that last bite. I'll be back!!! Gotta try the Guac.

My mouth was wowed so 5 stars for this place!…read more But we are still dumb founded as to why there's always a crowd here. Like starting around early dinner time (~5 PM), there will be a line forming outside. And it's still there even close to 8 ish. Even our friends have commented that there's always a line when they drive by. We came around 4 ish to 5 ish on a Friday, and the wait wasn't too terrible: 30 mins. If you like Tex Mex style food, this is THE SPOT. There's just a unique flair to this place that just can't be described. It's Mexican food that appears simple but with a uniqueness. There's something here that has families and their kids coming in waves. IYKYK. The hubs and I shared a couple of things. At first we thought we weren't going to be full, but the items we choose to sample actually put us at a very content level. Shrimp corn chowder: It was so creamy with a slick kick because of the jalapenos. A very delightful little soup to get if you're into a more thick or cream based soup. It was small but a hearty pick. Chef's dinner special: This was a really unique item. The chicken and mushroom were barely noticeable as I forgot what the protein/main ingredient were. The sauce on the side and Mexican rice just made it the perfect combo. The shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes provided a freshness to the dish. It's like one of those platters you'd get like at El Sombrero that has the rice and refried beans with a boat-load of sauce, for instance, enchilada. It's like that but better. Taco: The Memphis taco was so so IMO. It was sizable but wasn't something I dug. Maybe it was the spicy jalapeno coleslaw or the tequila BBQ sauce that didn't wow my taste buds. It was a unique ish item, but the flavors didn't jive with me. And it wasn't spicy even with the jalapeno. I think it was the BBQ sauce for me (I'm not a fan of a strong BBQ flavor profile). Enchilada: Is this saucy thing crack?! It was so delightfully saucy, cheesy, and flavorful. It tasted like what it looks like: yumminess. It's the opposite of wholesome but then again you're at a Mexican spot. The beef brisket with lemon cream was unique and screams flavor as you ingest it. I should have gotten more than one. Doh. We will come here again?! Perhaps if I can convince the hubs to go early enough to avoid the crowd. But things actually move pretty quickly as you queue up to order then find a seat and wait for the food to come out (which wasn't too long of a wait).
