I promptly arranged for repairs, as I occasionally use the furnace on cooler nights, even when daytime temperatures don't require it. Unfortunately, the first appointment was canceled at the last minute, and the second appointment couldn't be completed because the new heat exchanger arrived damaged, necessitating a reorder. Additionally, I was overcharged for cleaning the blower, which wasn't performed due to the heat exchanger issue. I'm still awaiting a refund and am uncertain about when the furnace repairs will be finished. This situation could have been managed more effectively, and I hope everything gets resolved soon. Upset that no one is home now. Finally called me and I told them I will be back in 30 mins. They came inside and tried to tell me I needed all of these things. Told them I didn't need them and they said then we can't do the install. Ask the guy to leave and he did. The best part was he said it would take 6 hours to do the job and drain the old tank. The job was to replace a broken pipe between the well and the house. It involved cutting up the concrete patio. They also replaced the little galvanized plumbing we had left and put in a new pressure tank. What I particularly liked about Five Star was the quality of work and that fact that they had a person, Jacob, that followed up and made sure that work progressed and was done to my satisfaction. I view that as a good quality control. I also liked the fact that they were the lowest cost by far. Would recommend that to any friends.

I walked into what I would call a family type atmosphere. The lady that helped me could see by looking at the capacitor that it was bad but used a proper device to test it and confirmed it was bad. I was given a very very good price for the replacement part and I was on my way. I called back the next day to inquire about cleaning the coils with coil cleaner. I was told he could sell me the solution but told me I could use Dawn dishwashing liquid with a spray bottle to get very good results. He said that's what his technicians use. He probably spent 15 additional minutes of his time to educate me on the unit. I didn't thank this type of service still existed so I was thrilled. Thank you!
