That is not medical protocol. You meet with a new doctor, they do an overview of your health concerns, and then they order blood work if it is appropriate. The FIRST question was what medication are you on? ( What does this have to do with blood work?) I explain that I am on no medication and that I'd been prescribed anxiety medication in the past but it had been awhile. I was immediately informed that they don't prescribe narcotics. Well, that's a good thing because I only wand blood work done. I had to firmly explain that I am not a drug seeking addict and that all I want is an appointment for blood work. She says every doctor does this. It is not true. I called another doctor. I was scheduled an appointment and told I'd have an intake and would be asked about my medications. I was not medically profiled because of my mental health and accused of drug seeking. I do not reccomend this place if you have any mental health problems.

He did not explain why I needed so much work, even when questioned he offered nothing. His 1st words to me were somewhat of an insult in indicating that I had had a lot of work done like I had not been to a dentist and taking care of my teeth over the past 6 decades, when in fact I have been going to a dentist at least twice a year for at least the last 25 years. It is not just him however, the wording in the initial paperwork is rather terse in that it threatens to discharge you if you fail to give your entire medical history. I dental assistant had great difficulty placing the device to take x-rays and had to keep repositioning it just to get a single x-ray. When you take the whole mouth, that is way more than one should actually have to have. She also kept blaming the equipment. The hygenist never introduced herself to me. While she was describing each tooth with a number to the dental assistant who was recording it seemed like they were just talking to each other in their lab at school rather than just treat me like a human being. If you want to have an interactive relationship with your dentist this is not the one to see.

She had me fill out paperwork, listened to my concerns, asked me questions of what massage care I would like to receive. During the massage she checked in with me often on the pressure she was giving. She worked on my neck, shoulders and arms. Great appointment and I really felt good afterwards. She was very caring and attentive. I am so glad I found a good massage therapy in my area.
