Loaded taquitos, rice and beans and churro donuts

The food was amazing from their loaded taquitos to rice and beans. All of the food was fresh!

TACO DORADO, i.e. a beef taco in a freshly fried corn tortilla shell!

best beef taco ever! i tried a beef taco, beef taquito, chicken taquito. I did not have my taquitos covered in any toppings. this beef taco was definitely the star of my meal. first time i have had a crispy taco with the corn shell freshly fried like this! the meat was well-seasoned and moist as well. perfect size taco- it stayed together until the last bite. service was quick too! they have tables and board games inside and it was clean. I do not care for hard metal chairs myself.

Pretty disappointed, we are from Cali and was hoping to get some good Cali flavor out here finally. I'm hoping after they've been open for awhile than maybe they'll be better. Everyone was so new and confused and needed someone there with experience to help. Paid $60 for a 4 pack combo, nachos, 2 drinks and churro donuts...that seems crazy. Prices for drinks didn't match the menu above head. They forgot my sides and I had to go ask for them, than forgot my salsa. Didn't have the horchata freeze, which is what I was looking forward to. Nachos tasted like the meat was boiled in water, no pepper on top. The corn tasted like boiled too and didn't have the mayo or cheese looking sauce on top and it was cold. Taquitos were good though & so we're the donuts. The flavors and looks just were off though, it felt over hyped on instagram and didn't deliver. Fingers crossed they get better.

First visit after seeing it promoted on Facebook for a few weeks. This was day three of them opening. There are three options of meals, two, three or four taquitos. The types were potato, cheese, ground beef, shredded beef and chicken. I had the chicken, and both the beef options. My side was rice. The rice was not very good, didn't think it was very flavorful. The chicken and cheese taquitos were the best. I would get those again. My wife got the cheese so had a bite of that. We also got chips with guacamole. The chips were over cooked or too thick. Just weren't good. Also, they had no salt on them. The guacamole was good but had a big chunk of avocado, not sure it was mashed enough. I would have liked to try the street corn on the cob but they had run out. I say that's due to first days of being open. I could have gotten in a bowl but chose not to. Their soda option is Pepsi. My wife said she would not be back. I will probably give them another chance. I'll just give them a few weeks to get settled from opening.

First time here today and I won't be back because the food is very basic and very very expensive for what you get.

All were delicious, but I would come back for the BigShrimpin' taco. If you like buffalo sauce and blue cheese, it worked so well with the crispy fried shrimp. Yum! Started with salsa & chips. The chips came out warm and the salsa (both green and red) tasted soooo fresh. You can tell everything is made in house. I had steak fajitas for my main course and I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the best fajitas I've ever had! The steak was extremely flavorful and juicy. It came with hot tortillas and all the toppings you could want. My husband ordered 3 tacos (codfather, big shrimpin & tators gonna tate). All were amazing! The service here was also exceptional. The food came out shockingly fast and sooner than expected. The staff was kind and attentive. Bartender Maddie was excellent! This place really exceeded my expectations and will be a regular stop when we're in town. 10/10 Chico love u

First, I thought I had reviewed them already-- so if I do two, that's why…read more I'm giving this 5 stars relating it to other SIMILAR places-- that is, Mexican restaurants within a grocery store--- i.e. more limited menu (although their's is pretty broad), not full bar-service (but they have beer), and not fancy. For what it is-- it is really scrumptious. I had a few tacos, a ceviche tostada and a beer. BIG lunch-- I took one taco home. All the items were really chock-ful of meat. The carnitas on that taco was way too much to be able to pick up the taco with it all inside. They had a good mix of onions and cilantro on them, although I'd have preferred to add my own (I LOVE cilantro). I wish it was nearer; I'd go back often.

The salsa and chips--- First bite tasted like tomato paste to me, very tangy and had a kick of spice. Chips were warm. No Guacamole!!!! What Mexican place has no guac? Chimichanga de pollo-- Shredded chicken with some onions, peppers and covered in cheese sauce. Fajitas mixta-- Steak was a little tough and chicken was very thin slices. Lacked some spices. More onions, green peppers and tomatoes than meat. It wasn't bad, but for our taste we have had better. The whole meal lacked spices. Would we recommend? Yes, give it a try, you might like it. Salsa is good but it's too tomato pastey for us.
