I'll start and say the food is good but beyond that not worth it and would never be back. This place needs to get their online order situation worked out. What you select online is different from what the restaurant receives. I asked for a refund and the young man at the register went in the back and came back out and said they can't do that. I demanded the owner, who was in the kitchen, and she came out and immediately processed the refund for our incorrect order. The owner should be ashamed that she would not come out to address their incorrect order and that she would send somebody else out to represent the business and deny a refund. Ultimately she proceeded to give the refund however I'll watch the bank because I do not trust her or this business after my experience. Do not support this place! read more

First time ever trying this place even though I grew up in SCV. I must say I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, sashimi, sushi, fried gyoza, and 4 different kinds of rolls. Our stomachs were full and happy! The orange and teriyaki chicken were very tasty. The fish for the sushi and sashimi were good quality and the rolls were as expected for a sushi place. It seems like the cup bop is quite popular so I will be trying that the next time. I am also looking forward to trying the udon and ramen as I love me some noods. The food is reasonably priced even with the current inflation and the quality was good as well. My son was making a sushi run and brought me back a tuna roll. For himself it was shrimp and salmon rolls, as well as a bowl of ramen. I was a bit hesitant to try anything from this restaurant again, after a less than favorable food experience there several years back. But my sons have always enjoyed eating here so a second try was in order. Takeout, and on my son's return I relished those 6 pieces of sushi and wished I'd asked him to bring me more. Maybe the tuna this time was the difference from the spicy tuna I ordered last time. But it could have been just them having a bad day. I'm just glad I gave them another try. read more

It all feels healthier and more homemade than the big chains. This neighborhood spot satisfies an Asian craving. The food is good and they are reasonable. The couple who own it are really nice and accommodating. They have a variety of different foods from sushi rolls to with their version of bimibap bowls. Actually they are fun to eat because you can add what you want to the bowl and put a variety of Asian flavors together. I appreciate a sole proprietor who treats people well and I will continue to visit them. I appreciate having them in the neighborhood. Good food and good people. read more

I'm still in the middle of trying to determine the stars.. I called, gave my address and was advised delivery was fine. My guests showed up, we tried to add onto the order and was advised I was actually out of the delivery range so they would take cook the additional order and deliver it. Fine. I ordered teriyaki "prawns".... feel free to see my picture to know what I received was not a prawn. The shrimp did not taste marinated long enough so I basically paid 9 bucks for the little shrimp u get at the grocery store in the bulk bag for 7 bucks..doused in teriyaki. There is a fishy after taste on these doggone shrimp!. *sigh* Food wasn't good. The delivery lady was nice though. read more

I didn't even get to try the food. I asked the lady who took my order what came with the spicy tuna tempera roll. She told me and I said ok. What she failed to tell me was it was going to be covered in some Mayo sauce or whatever it was. There was no description on the menu as well. I get home and find it's covered in spicy Mayo. First, as soon as I pulled up I immediately noticed how sketch & dirty the outside of the store looked but I figured I'd give it a shot since appearances aren't always everything. Let me to tell you, walking in was even worse. The place looked filthy & there were flies flying around everywhere which is disgusting especially for a place that sells sushi BUT still I proceeded to order since I was already there. I went the safe route & ordered the #57 (California Roll (8pcs) + Spicy Tuna Roll (8pcs) + Crunch Roll (6pcs) $14.50. The service was pretty slow there was almost no one in the place & it still took about 30 min. After finally receiving my order I went to try it & was immediately dissatisfied. The tempura in the crunch roll was literally rock hard it tasted like it had been over cooked & then left out to sit for a week & the other rolls had no flavor & tasted off. Literally Mc Donald's has better quality then this place. I absolutely do NOT recommend eating here. If you're thinking about going here save yourself the trouble & don't. read more

I love sushi! I feel like it's either a love hate for most people haha but I can't get enough. I have the sushi sensei badge to prove it.. This place is 2 minutes from where I live so I love the convenience. The quality of sushi isn't top tier but for a small place stuck in a retail shopping space it's very good! I am mostly a fan of their lunch specials only. Everything on the specials menu is under $10 but the hours are only 11 - 3:30pm. Instead of getting an 8 piece sushi roll of one type of sushi for around $7 dollars you can pay about the same and get double the amount plus choices of 3 different sushi types. Cheap sushi that gives you a variety can be hard to find so I really like this place. the only reason this gets a 4 star is because the quality isn't the best but it's good enough to come back! read more
