We found them at FtMyers Brewery. We had the special of the day Short Ribs . (Wow!!! Perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, topped with Chimichurri. The meat fell off the bone. Sides were Texas style potato salad ( perfectly seasoned with dill..) and baked beans. Tyler found us to see how we liked it. We chatted and shared how the food truck began and how hard he has worked to build his business. He returned again to give us a sample of the brisket burnt ends. Melt in your mouth!! Let me tell you, this is one of the best schnitzels I have had anywhere (including in Germany)...the pork was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and juiciness on the inside. The hunter sauce was also nearly perfect: just the right amount of savory mushroom flavor, but not too heavy. Service was really fast and they went out of their way to package it up to go. My favorite Mexican food truck is unfortunately no longer there. I always used to get the Birria burrito from there. Now, I mostly order from Gigi Gourmet and get the Triple Threat burger, which has 3/4lb Wagyu beef, cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, applewood bacon, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a sauce. The Pattie's are crispy on the outside since they are smash burgers and so juicy on the inside. The toppings are piled high. This burger is one of my favorite burgers in the whole area. We also like to order from The Lobster Chef truck. The lobster tacos are out of this world! The portion is generous and the price is fair. They are on flour tortillas with cheese, cabbage, guacamole, pineapple salad, cilantro lime crema, and a really generous portion of lobster. They are an absolute must-order. My husband loves the tuna poke bowl. It's a massive portion with sushi rice, carrot, cabbage, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado, crispy onion, spicy mayo, and ponzu sauce. He says the tuna tastes very fresh. Can't wait for our next trip to The Slipaway!

(a lime slice). The drink was not weak. It was a good choice. All the bartenders we very attentive and came around to see how we were doing. We didnt stay long, it was loud and we were having a hard time hearing.... and there were too many flies dive bombing us. There was also a live band playing outside. They have their schedule on Facebook which is how we found them and tracked them down. We managed to catch them tonight in Mooresville at King Canary Brewery and we got there early! We have been craving some Mofongo and they did not disappoint. I wish I would have asked their names as they were both extremely friendly and helpful. But not to worry as I expect to be regulars. They have a sufficient menu with chicken, shrimp, pork and beef and it's full of flavor! If you've never had "Mofongo" (a Puerto Rican dish with fried plantains as its main ingredient. Plantains are picked green and fried, then mashed with salt, garlic, and oil) you don't know what you're missing. I highly recommend "My Boricua Kitchen" and I will definitely be back! So friggin GOOD!!! We stumbled across the Firebread food truck at the Cape Coral farmers market. I…read moream so glad we did! What got our attention as we were walking, was the tube looking bread. There were a ton of people waiting for their food, so we figured we should give it a try. We ordered their breakfast egg, ham and bacon sandwich. While we were watching them create sandwiches, we could smell all of the different items they were making. When we first bit into our oddly shaped sandwich, our senses lit up. This was likely the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The flavors from the dough were incredible. The taste of the eggs and meats were perfectly balanced. When you put it all together, my wife and I were ready for a cage match to see who got the next bite. So good. A word of caution. They make everything fresh to order, so patience is required, but the wait is worth the 5-8 minutes. We are going back next weekend and I hope Firebread is there. They have many sandwich choices and I intend to try them all. Over time. What a great find. Go here!!!
