This company just installed our security pedestrian gate and fencing and did a beautiful job. It is glossy black iron with spears on top and circles on the border beneath the spears. The gate itself has a kind of Celtic (?) floral design I had designed from a gate I have seen online. I designed it on paper and they fabricated it exactly the way I wanted it. They have their own fabrication facility locally and they can adjust whatever is needed even on the spot as one of the team members can weld things right there on the worksite. Dean is the owner and very gracious. He is on top of things and helps in developing the idea that you are looking for which I appreciate. He gives you what is the best for your area while still getting what you want and he always focuses on what you want. Dean is a young owner, and his dedication to his business and professionalism will impress you. I wish him MUCH SUCCESS in his business. I liked him and his company so much, I am having him do work at my mom's house( iron railing for stairs on her front walkway since she is falling) and building the other side of my house a bigger yard gate (since it just broke after I built this first one-it is time, since that lasted 20 years or so). i also liked that he came out frequently to check the scope of the work when he could, especially since it was a long drive or during rush hour. What I look for is an owner who: 1) really cares about all aspects of his business (his employees even said good things about him and how good a boss he is which is impressive too) and you can tell he is a kind soul and a good human being just meeting him; 2) has utmost integrity which is a big characteristic I look for in today's world, and tbh especially hard to find sadly, it seems in the construction/contractors/home improvement fields; 3) and the most important thing to me is when the owner goes ABOVE and BEYOND (my own motto and work ethic)! OH and on TOP of ALL THAT, Dean gave me the most reasonable prices of all! The competitors, especially ones that came from the San Jose and Pleasanton/San Ramon areas were 3-4 times MORE expensive. They had shown me impressive portfolios in Hillsborough and Silicon Valley, but I am not kidding you some gave estimates over $ 9000.00 to 20,000-23,000.00 and some were actually laughing and saying they were expensive! I would say so (mind you this had no automation only a simple manual gate and fence). Dean gave me the second best price. I went with him because he also stayed with me from my first estimate a year ago, but events with my mom's hospitalizations delayed my projects and he patiently waited and came out again to give a new estimate. So since he stuck with me and I admired his knowledge and seemed like a good guy and honest, I stuck with him. So for those looking for metal work or any type of fencing and gate work, don't be fooled by companies that overcharge because you are in the SF Bay Area and have special people just giving estimates and project managers,etc-go with this company where the owner is involved and comes out and gives you the estimate and is involved personally and gives you a reasonable price!
