I had a great experience with Rolling Thunder Audio and wanted to share how impressed I am with their work. I originally came in just to have a rear backup camera installed that I purchased from eBay, but they went above and beyond. While working on my car, they noticed an issue with my existing CarPlay system that had been installed by someone else. My Bluetooth would constantly disconnect and kick me back to the home screen, which was really frustrating--but they were able to fix that problem completely. Everything now connects smoothly and works exactly how it should. On top of that, they did an amazing job with the physical setup of the radio and camera. Before, the screen was blocking access to my AC and heater controls, which made it really inconvenient to use. They repositioned everything perfectly so now I can clearly see and use all my buttons without any issue. The backup camera looks great, and the overall setup feels clean and professionally done. Very nice on the phone, but unwilling to do any research or legwork to figure out how to upgrade my 2003 JAGUAR sound system To play Bluetooth generated music from my iPhone via Spotify. The closest JAGUAR retail dealer is over an hour away and no longer sells Jaguars. JAGUAR corporate said it could be done if one assembled the right gear, which they said existed aftermarket. I don't go to a specialty shop to be told that I need to figure out for them how to do what I want done. I recognize that it's out of their normal " boombox" arena, but it's totally out of mine. I was willing to pay whatever but if I do the necessary technical research work I'd be disinclined to use these people. Pity. read more

The service was quick and easy, and the installation was successful and they guarantee that if you have an issue with its configuration in the future, they will fix it. I love my remote start! He has many years in the industry and it shows when you discuss his products. His son does the installation and shows to be almost as good as his father. I brought my car into their shop so they could install a navigation system (that I bought separately). The owner Dave, which I have used a couple of other times was friendly but very direct. He got his young son to do the install and he would occasionally go in to supervise. The installation was pretty straightforward as the Nav system came with all of the connectors. The total install time was 1 hour. I was charged $140 cash ($20 for an extra cable). I thought this was a bit steep - especially when a less experienced person doing the work takes longer. The big negative was that they did not let me go inspect what was going on in the garage (due to "insurance regulations")- so there were a couple of problems and all I could do was take their word for it and not being able to suggest a workaround. So in the end, I had paid a high price for uncompleted work (which technically is not their fault but they didn't allow for much customer interaction to try to get it done better). So now instead, I have to complete this myself - which I was trying to avoid in the first place. read more

I'm writing this review in contradiction of others posted here because I've used Rolling Thunder not for 1 but 2 remote starter installations and have never had an issue with their work or performance of the equipment I purchased from them! My remote starter will start my car about 1000ft sometimes, I sometimes start the car from inside the supermarket while on line so it's nice and warm when I get there. I've recommended at least 2 or 3 people to use them and all are satisfied, I'm bringing some one there today to get a remote starter done and am confident they will be very pleased. I will continue to use them for all future vehicles I may own. read more

Don't waste your time with this company. My $250 remote start wound up at $450 and doesnt even work. I was traveling when I bought it and cannot go back. They charged for parts that they did not use also. I would push my car before taking it there again. read more

I am a disable veteran and money is extremely tight, and I love to support local small business so I took my Honda truck for an after market radio so my wife would stop using a tape in order for he I-pod to play. the next day the radio was not can not get any radio station FM or AM . when I called the owner he told me he can not promise any station and he told me the radio was defective. Four weeks later no radio. I had to reinstall my MFG radio. Now i have to file complains with my credit card, the Attorney General, BBB, and small claims court to get my money back.
