I was attending the Carson and Inglewood locations and had no problems with instructors for at least 6 months. I was on autopay and it was fine since I was completing about 20 classes per month. Upon learning at the beginning of the new year that we would be losing several instructors, and one of whom I took ALL of my classes with I made the difficult decision to cancel my membership. The course schedule was also very limiting and so it made sense to do so. I sent an email to cancel but for some reason it was stuck in the outbox. I relayed this information with R&D and was met with the inability to assist with this. They are really going to charge me for a whole month in which there are insufficient classes with instructors I do not support. DO NOT GO ON AUTOPAY! THEY WILL NOT ASSIST YOU! read more

I love this studio! I've been to two other studios in the past, and I can say that this is my favorite. The instructors and other students are very encouraging. I suggest trying each instructor to find out what works for you. They have classes as early as 5 AM and as late as 9 PM. Yessie and Mama Mac are very beginner friendly. Each class starts up with a warm-up and pole conditioning. I used to think it took up so much time, but it's because you need your body to be loose to avoid injury. Dee is my favorite instructor right now. She's super upbeat, personable, and encouraging. Her warmups really get my body pumping. If you're more advanced, she will assist you on the pole to get the tricks right. She's hella strong if she's able to support me in the air haha. I've also taken several of the elective classes. I really like the Twerking class by Anesia and the Flexibility class by Candy Cane. Some things i suggest bringing (all optional though) 1) Booty shorts- allow your legs to grip better 2) Heels!!!!!!!!!!! 3) Yoga mat - makes it easier to do stretches and adds cushioning 4) Grip for your hands - i have sweaty palms so i need this 5) Water - it's a workout They have package deals and auto payment online but i have been buying when they have a flash sale, which can range from $6-12 each. Pole dancing really works out your upper body, core, and even legs. I feel more confident and strong. Highly recommend. read more

I've always wanted to try pole dance and was so happy when I saw one near me. A few of my gym classmates recommended that I gave it a try as well since they really seemed to enjoy it. It was my first time on Sunday taking the beginners class and I really liked the students in the class. They made me feel very welcomed! The studio is really clean and the decor is very fun. I love how body and sex positive the environment was! I really wanted to enjoy the class however I felt that I had no idea what I was doing the entire time and I KNEW I was really off from the choreography. However, the instructor didn't really provide guidance and honestly I felt pretty discouraged. Obviously, I don't expect to be good on day 1 and I'm aware that I have two left feet. I was hoping to get more hands on instruction. I left feeling pretty defeated watching the students that went more often getting it down. It's a little inconvenient and frustrating how the website used to sign up for classes currently has a glitch--it has been having issues for almost two months now. I can't process my credit card info (even though I have an account), and have to do so over the phone through the phone number of the Rancho Cucamonga location and have it processed manually. I want to be able to have my spot reserved as soon as possible. The last time I did this I texted the phone number to reserve my class. I didn't even get a notification that my spot was reserved. I re-downloaded the R&D app and saw that my spot was reserved, and had to check my bank account to see that the payment was processed. read more

I like most of the classes and several of the instructors; very welcoming and fun and I learn some! I really enjoy coming here most of the time and often drive over an hour during rush hour to get to class because they're the only studios with affordable classes sometimes. Unfortunately, I have run into several issues, multiple times where I've had to double or triple purchase a class to be able to use it or get charged for something that I shouldn't have. First I bought the Groupon and I thought the 30 day expiration would happen when I took my first class or maybe I didn't notice another rule where I only got to use 2 out of 10 classes I bought. Some website links are broken and the website itself is unintuitive to navigate but I clicked on Inglewood campus schedule and I didn't realize it was only showing Carson classes so I booked a class and drove all the way down there to find no one is there - I miss my class and they try to charge me additionally for not making it to the class. :( Then I buy either a set of several classes or month of classes and don't let me know the expiration is set a few days earlier than a month so I missed out on using classes I purchased again thinking I had time because they should have been good for a month. Another time I bought classes but they didn't activate on the website so I wasn't able to book or register for any classes, so I asked about it and they tried to tell me that maybe they already expired and I couldn't use them but I quadruple checked the expiration and it finally got fixed but almost didn't get to use ANY of those classes if I wasn't persistent about it. One time recently I tried signing up for unlimited classes on auto-pay (which ended up not being worthwhile because I only made it about once a week for three or four classes), but I specifically paid for "unlimited everything" because I have really wanted to take their Aerial Hoop classes. Turns out Aerial Hoop is not included in any unlimited options. But I triple read the agreement and knew I had to pay for at least 3 months worth... So I paid for some classes to use after the three month window (including Aerial hoop classes because I have been wanting to take them for over a year but they're not affordable for me at full price! ) and sent an inquiry and checked not just once or twice but every single week to make sure my cancellation went through because they are strict about making sure you're doing it at least 30 days beforehand. I couldn't get it resolved so I asked about getting a refund for my classes (I paid for multiple Pole, Elective and Hoop classes) if I was going to be forced to pay for a month of Unlimited again, and they said flatly NO. I finally got the autopay resolved after stressing a lot, but yet again wasn't able to activate or use my classes I purchased to register on the website. It's now the end of the month and just got my classes activated last week, there aren't any aerial hoop classes during the week so I need to sacrifice those classes yet again along with multiple Pole and Elective classes. I am honestly pretty devastated and exhausted about the situation. There is always something. No matter how vigilant I try to be. It sucks because I really like this place and the community here but should not continue to put myself through this. read more
