We came here for dinner with the in-laws, and really enjoyed our meals! The garlic bread was really good, the salads are fresh and filling, and the pizza is really good! I think for specialty pizzas in the Rincon area, Romano's is best. The service was amazing, there was a young lady being trained, but we were understanding of her. We also met the owner, who was very kind. The seating area is not that big, but it's enough for a few parties of four. There are beer and wine options, and a few cocktails. I was honestly surprised by how good the pizza was. The margarita was doughy, just the way I like a specialty pizza to be. My mother in law ordered the Alfredo pizza, and got a thin crust, and that was good too, but I enjoyed mine more. Yummy spot in Rincon, we'll definitely be back. read more

What can you say? First thing I ordered was a Sprite. Sorry all out. Ok. Didn't offer beer/wine. Perhaps server was under age? Check out the spelling of Italian on the drink menu. Ordered Eggplant Polatini for appetizer. Got southwest egg rolls ! What? Sent back and did get it right. Food was decent. I checked the menus and signage. NOTHING noted about a charge for using credit/debit card. But, I've been fooled here once before. So I brought Cash. Bill is given to me and shows a Convenience Charge. This is lame. Excited about having a new Italian and pizza option for Rincon! The staff was polite warm and welcoming when I arrived. There are plenty of seating options to eat-in here but they are also well suited for takeout. Ordering food, I probably made a mistake, this place is setup mostly for pizza it seams and the pizza options are impressive and what I saw at other tables looked amazing. I will try pizza next time I stop here. I started with a "shrimp appetizer", this did not meet my expectations at all for a couple of reasons. I was expecting whole local shrimp with the tail, I got what I would call popcorn shrimp and for some reason it came with fries which surprised me since it was listed as an appetizer. I ordered a small gyro salad for my entree. It was a perfect portion for the price and all of the Ingredients seemed extremely fresh. The cuts of gyro meat had a strange texture to me but tasted fine. I was not in love with the sauce. The atmosphere was quiet and calm and relaxing. My wife and I ate there yesterday when they opened at 4. The staff were all very personable. The dining room and bathroom were clean. The Tuscan wine was very good. My wife ordered chicken piccata. It tasted very tart. Some dry white wine added to the mixture would have cut the extreme lemon tartness. The chicken was not pounded, breaded and fried with the sauce and capers over it. The chicken was only cubed, nothing else, with everything, including the pasta, mixed together. Wow! Neither of us has ever seen chicken piccata prepared as such. I thought about ordering it and am glad that I did not. I ordered fettuccini with meatballs. I wanted to order spaghetti with meat sauce, but it was not offered. However, my dish looked really good. The meatballs were very good. My issue was the marinara sauce. It was too sweet tasting. It needed some dry red wine cooked with it. That would have cut the tomato sweet and mellowed the taste. We each had a garden salad with a tangy Italian dressing. They were good. The vegetables were nice and crisp. We also each had a breadstick. It was good too. A basket of breadsticks would have been nice instead of one each being put on our food plates and getting wet on the bottom. Again, the young woman and young man who greeted and served us were very nice. The entrees could have been better, but we enjoyed the wine! They also offer pizza in a wide variety of sizes. While dining, many people came in to pick up take out pizza orders. We will try their pizza next time. Hard to judge on an online order to go. The listed phone number wasn't working. I so want this restaurant to do well! The calamari for $9.99 was okay. Came without any sauce. We ordered two pasta dishes for &17.99 each. Both said they came with breadsticks. There was only a small piece of bread in one of the pasta dishes. The bread was a soupy waste. The pasta's were okay but we added flavor. The staff both times I've been in seemed to be very friendly high school students. Staff was very welcoming when going in. We ordered four different small pizzas, one came out completely wrong and one didn't look anything like the description. The water tasted absolutely horrible, the sweet tea looked like water and didn't taste good at all and the Pepsi was flat. We watched one of the servers completely mess up another tables checks, while waiting over 10 minutes for our cards to get picked up. Then were told that the two servers that were there were training and no one was out on the floor with them while they were in "training." Friendly waitress named Tori (I think it may have been Victoria) she offered to customize dishes like adding meatballs and asking if there was anything we wanted left off of the salads. Very accommodating! We ordered the Asiago cheesesteak pizza and the Chicken Parmesan with a side Greek Salad. Everything was amazing and very fresh. Worst customer service imaginable. Ordered Uber eats. Resturant called me and asked me to cancel the order. They said they'd confirm it with Uber. I did and I was charged anyway. Uber referred me to the restaurant. Called them. They located my order and acknowledged I was charged and that I didn't get any food. they refused to refund me. They told me to dispute the charge with my credit card. They hung up on my wife. They stole $51 from be. Most aburd thing I have ever experienced. I would sue them to make the point if it wouldn't take me so much time. read more

Horrible experience! Appetizer had raw dough after waiting 20 minutes, not a little either we thought it was just cheesy. We then got the pizza which had raw dough as well. Unmelted cheese under the cheese. Oh and don't forget the hair we pulled out of the pizza. We looked at the cooks. No hair nets and they had long hair so... place looks good when you walked in. After all that they took 5 dollars off the bill. Which just took off the dine in fee they charge. We thought, well bad day we will try again another time. But after the way it was handled the payment situation we will not be returning. By the way it was a Friday night so hopefully whoever eats all that raw dough doesn't get sick. read more

Horrible service. Bad attitude when you order at 8:10, delivery was supposed to be 9:10, then changed to 9:30. 10:01 pm still nothing. Driver was no where near us when we called at 9:34 and still had nothing. oordered through Uber eats and they said that bistros own employee would be delivering so not an Uber issue. Guaranteed that driver ate well getting free food from Uber because we have been reimbursed after having to cancel at 10:01 because of no food. Fuck you scammers. read more

I've been to and ordered delivery at Romanos in Rincon many times and i will never return!! I've ordered delivery pizza from there 3 times and have never received my order in less than 2 hours even when the delivery time was set by them for 45-60 minutes. I've called several times 1.5 hours after placing the order and they tell you that the driver has the pizza and they should be there any minute and don't show up for another 30-40 minutes after the call, we only live 15 minutes away. When you call they will also tell you they are sorry but they are short on drivers, I get this but you should tell your customers that as soon as the order is placed and set the lead times for delivery for a longer time. We have also waited for our order in the restaurant for 45 minutes when we were 4 of 6 people in the entire restaurant. sucks cause the food is actually pretty good. read more

They list on Uber Eats which shows estimated time for delivery but apparently they don't use Uber drivers so it takes much longer. In my case 3 times as long. The restaurant is 1the minutes from my location and I called 4 times. No update on driver even when I specifically asked. There's no way to track driver! read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We waited nearly 3 hours for our food. Called the store 3 or 4 times. Spoke DIRECTLY to the owner who told us "you can go ahead and leave a review on Google, Yelp, Facebook, whatever you want, we are not comping the order or offering any kind of discount. Nothing I'm willing to do."...so here I am. I've NEVER heard a manager speak to someone like that. They did not even apologize for the inconvenience. I ended the call saying "that's crazy, I guess we'll just continue to wait!" to which she replied "have a good night" and hung up on me! like literally hung up on me. No discounts were given, and the food was ice cold when it arrived. Worst service I've actually ever had. Such a shame we won't be able to support a small business again. read more

Hands down the worst pizza I've ever had. Says the crust is hand made but it literally looked like a store bought frozen pizza crust. I would've rather just had a jacks pizza from Kroger.
