Endless hydration
Omar S.

I was so dehydrated the entire day until my table received excellent service from Farah, I was immediately given cup after cup of water. Never have I felt more refreshed in my life and my future looks bright as I am healed of my dehydrated ails. Definition of ambiance: The character and atmosphere of a place.

Excellent ambiance

Got the Mama's trio and WHOA MAMA! Our server Farah made sure my thirsty Omar had enough water to stay in the game the whole night even when he didn't have the resolve. We even got him some water for the road! What is Ambiance?

Pasta Milano

The Pasta Milano dish is so good here! It's on their lunch menu side which is week days only from opening til 3pm. Comes with a side salad. Delicious! Seriously a perfect pasta dish! Great Service and chill ambiance. This place could use more support during the lunch time hours. Their lunch menu is reasonably priced and you get a good portion size amount of food.

Love Macaroni Grill! Went for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. Was a little more than pre COVID but well worth it. Lots of delicious food. I only touch the lasagna after eating the mozzarella sticks, the best I ever had, Brussels sprouts, was sweet and tasty, and salad. I'd go back again. The service was better than some fine dining restaurants! Was excellent!!!

From outside you would think it's a fancy restaurant, even when your first walk in you get that idea. Then when sit, you find out there opposite. The menu is paper and mostly torn. The tables have white paper on them like we're a bunch of kids and the food was kind of disappointing. The steak was really bland, all is flavor came from the cheese. The bread was hard and not good. The pasta was bland. The only delicious thing was the prosciutto appetizer, but even the marinara was very basic and bland.

Calamari

When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet. Good for us, bad for business. We were skeptical at first and thought to try again. We were sat quickly and Sam, our server was great. (Hostess could try to smile and talk a little to start someone's experience well.) We ordered drinks and Calamari to start. Then we put in our orders. We didn't wait very long and the food was Fantastic. Flavors, Freshness and quality was on point. We were pleasantly surprised how our experience became. Neverless, we will now be back again. Thanks to Management foe getting it right.

Excellent food and service from the cook to the Bernald and host Eduardo I'm so happy with everything! The manager Ramiro was very nice and waitress Yvonne went out of her way to help us fast! I definitely recommend this restaurant! Must visit

Seafood ravioli

Food is good , starters stuffed mushrooms with goat cheese a must . Bruschetta good next time I will ask for extra garlic and goat cheese instead of Ricotta cheese . My favorite bottle of Daou Sauvignon is a must . Seafood ravioli was good . My server Denise was awesome , great service & very attentive. Ambiance is lounge like . Good music and not to bright .

This was one of my favorite restaurants that closed in my homestate, so while visiting CA, I jumped at the opportunity to eat here. (Sadly, the one in Rancho Cucamonga also closed so this location was a bit of a drive). It was quite empty when we arrived on a weekday night, with only a few tables occupied. I got the stuffed mushroom appetizer and loved the fresh bread. It was still the same where your server writes their name on the table. My dad got the shrimp portofino and the serving was ample and more than enough to share with me. We got the chocolate cake for dessert- it was just as big and delicious as we had rememebered, but could've been slightly warmer for the chocolate to melt. 2023 #13

The server who helped us out. Good ambiance.

I've been coming here for years, and even after moving to Whittier, I still have my husband drive all the way to Corona just so we can eat here. That's how much we love it! This restaurant is a true hidden gem, and I recommend it to everyone I know. My favorites are the short rib ravioli, chicken piccata, and mushroom fungi!

We went Friday night and yes it was busy but Gioia greeted us and said we could sit at the bar to…read moreeat and drink. This was perfect for us as we were just hungry from not eating since earlier in the day and we just wanted to unwind since we had gone to Glen Ivy for a well deserved soak. First off, I really didn't appreciate the person who was a regular who posted non sensical and petty things about this place. If you have ever been served at a true Italian moms and pops place ...you know things take time as it's made from "scratch". That said...nothing we had that night took too much time to make IMHO. An important thing to note was I was apprehensive to order since I am a Celiac until Gioia told me they had Gluten free pasta for anything except the ravioli and gnocchi. I was ecstatic honestly. Anyhow I did end up with the Chilean sea bass with pasta in a creamy sauce. It was definitely made with parmesan. The pasta itself was al dente (well made and not overdone). My husband had the chicken marsala and was very happy. He wanted me to try it but I told him I couldn't since it had flour (Gioia told me they could always accommodate the marsala for me if I wanted it in the future). That's precious. I thanked her for that. Btw I forgot to mention that they have a QR code for the menu so get ready to try and open that up. We had difficulty only with that though and we had help from a neighboring woman who sent it to my husband's phone. She was a regular and really nice person who had finished eating and was just enjoying a drink with her husband. All in all it was a good night and we got to also chat with two elderly ladies who also were regulars and really kids too. We got to see the owner come out since it was someone's in birthday and it made me laugh to see him with a candle on his head and bringing out the cake for the birthday fellow. I thought that was unique and absolutely adorable. Just know that we highly recommend this Tuscan cuisine and it's made by them personally. They also have a great prep group you get to see in front too. For a busy night I also noticed their one toilet was clean. I am reviewing more here as I wish to let people know the details. Oh and they have a great Chianti and cappuccino too. Our dessert was their cheesecake and that was with blueberry and with amaretto in it. It was so good and even my husband tried some. Yes it was gluten free ...Gioia also checked that before getting it for me. She said they also have almond cookies too and next time I am gonna have to try that. I don't usually go crazy for dessert but this was so tasty and I kind of knew it would be since it's genuinely made with love back there by the owners. I think this family is amazing. Give them a try and don't go if you want to be served in and out like it was fast food. That's not Italian way. I grew up eating Italian foods as I was born there as well as my parents were Croatian and there is a lot of Italian influence over there. It's why when I see food made like this that I know it's right. Thanks for the great night!

The Mac and cheese balls were still a little cold in the inside but did not take away from their deliciousness. I shared two plates, the Chicken parmigiana and the chicken Alfredo pizza. I really like the chicken parm, it was light and the sauce was flavorful without being too strong. I thought the pizza was okay, extremely cheesy and dry. I would have enjoyed a saucier pizza, the cheese was very overwhelming. The service was very fast and friendly. Checked in on us multiple times and made us feel comfortable. It was a good dinner!

Great food is important, but great service is what turns a meal into an exceptional dining experience, and he delivered both. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, he was attentive, prompt, respectful, and genuinely kind. I also noticed how he interacted with the other tables around us. Every guest seemed to feel like they had his full attention, which is a rare quality. I work in an industry where I do a lot of hiring, and Luis is exactly the kind of person we look for. We happen to be on the 60 freeway and said hey you know what it's dinner time let's stop in for some amazing Italian food. Why are we glad we did. The service was terrible, we couldn't even grab our waitress to refill our water. We had to ask someone else to bring us utensils and napkins, we were only given 2 sets for 4 people. When our appetizers were served, some of the food was spilled onto the table. The food was not as good as it used to be. The starter plate had calamari, mozzarella sticks and fried zucchini. Two of us got salads with our entrees, and the other two got soup. Parts of our salad were spilled onto the table while it was served which was disappointing. The minestrone was salty. The wedding soup was ok. The tricolored tortellini with sun-dried tomato sauce was oily. In the starter entree (chicken parm, lasagna and fettuccine), flavor was ok. The shrimp ravioli seemed the best. The chicken marsala was served seemingly drenched in oil. The worst part, for a party of 4, after we received our bill, our waitress tried auto-adding 25% gratuity to our bill and was disappointed when we asked her how to change the tip. I understand tipping while eating out and doing so appropriately but we were a table of 4, and on top of that we had terrible service and food spillage. Most restaurants charge 18-20% for larger parties, and again, we were a party of 4. If we hadn't paid attention to the bill, we would not even have noticed the auto gratuity of 25%. Other tables, either small or bigger, had better service than we did. Highly recommend being detail oriented when paying your bill. I used to love this place but was not at all happy with our recent experience.
