Stopped coming here a year ago because of the bad service a "just don't care" attitude from the management. Decided to see if it had improved and NOPE. Sat down and had a simple order. Asked for a mountain dew. Out of syrup. Okay. Asked for garlic Parmesan wings. Got plain wings no sauce. Asked for a Chicken Bacon Ranch, cut into squares. Got a regular sliced pie that came to the table. I pointed out we asked for a square cut. "Oh she forgot" no apology, no offer to make it right, just walks back to the kitchen, never to be seen again. No follow up on the food or to offer drink refills. Or to offer the check or a to go box. Walked up to the order window and had to ask for a box and the check. Mind you, we were the only 2 customers in the entire place. We are the wrong wings, ate the pizza with the uncooked dough in the middle. Decided to try and watch TV. Can't enjoy that, apparently the owner had to sit behind us, with 14 other tables in the place, while on a loud phone conversation. Once that's done 2 women come to sit with him and decide to have more chatter. We're done. Nobody here cares about the quality, the service or the customers. As a retired chef, I always give a place three chances and I'm sad to admit, I've given this place more chances than they honestly deserved. To be fair, this is just at the Sun snville location and not a review of the chain as a whole, and definitely not my experience at all when I go to the buffet Pizza Inn by Baylor Medical Center. Came in, placed my order, paid for the order and the guy tells me it's going to be 30 minutes. I go to the car, come back in 30 minutes and they can't find my order. Then the guy says, "Oh ma'am, there's 4 orders ahead of yours." Soooooooo, in 30 minutes yall haven't even fixed my order? These comments are flooring me. This is one of the best pizzas I have had and I come here often. The service is impeccable and there do everything in a timely manor. I have never stepped foot inside but I do there drive through all the time. I get the thin meat lovers or meaty max and it is perfect every-time. Me and my mom own Take Out Burgers right down the street and this is the place we received food to celebrate at home after the first day of us owning the shop. Manager and employees were friendly. Even though this is advertised as a buffet chain, no buffet at this location and no notice on Yelp, Google or Apple maps. Used the restroom while we were deciding whether to stay or not Obviously old building and not maintained. I think the toilet and sink bowl were cleaned today but the rest was not. Small trash and debris in the corners and sink cubby. Sink by the handles was dirty. Walls have old dirt, grime, and spatter. And baby changing station hasn't been cleaned. Hole in the floor at the threshold, cracks in the tiles. The hole is shallow, but someone could catch their toe in it. Worst was the door latch: deadbolt mounted high and missing any grip or handle. Holes for the handle could have been useful if I'd had a pen or pencil. But as it was, I had to use my fingers to grip the tiny end, barely sticking out of the bracket. As a disabled person in a wheelchair, the bracket is too high, and it is unmanageable with bad hands. I was slightly concerned that I might become trapped in there. I think it would be unmanageable even with good hands because of the tiny sliver you have to grip to pull it out. We never got to the food part. The odor smelled good, but if the bathroom is in that bad of disrepair, how bad is the kitchen? And worse than that, if I'm paying money here and giving profit to this business, why are they not up keeping facilities in at least a basic, decent condition? read more

I accidentally ordered from Pizza Inn when I intended to order from Pizza Hut. Never again! The pizza was cold and the sausage was so overcooked that it was crispy. I was extremely mad since my order was quite expensive and the pizza was inedible. read more

When I come south, I stop at a Pizza Inn. There are only a few around but I soooo love this place. The thin crust has a really different taste that I love. Go check out this location! It's under new ownership as of March 2021. The customer service is fantastic and the dough is made fresh daily! It's clean, lots of seating, big screen TV's to watch games. The pizza is great and at a good price. You can dine in or pick up and they even have a drive thru. Just called to try and get two pizzas delivered I was told since I was doing delivery I wouldn't t be offered any of the special offer deals. Pizza was good. I came for the Buffett. I arrived about 12:00 and the place was empty. They did ask me what I wanted and made me a medium. Did the same for the next guest also. Problem was when the next 8 people arrived there was nothing for them to eat. As I sat and ate my pizza I watched them sit for 10-15 minutes. There was no spaghetti left. The place is a little run down but clean. The tv signal kept going out and that was a little annoying. But the service was good. I'm here at this place right now. This place is garbage to say the least! How can you offer an all day buffet but not have food out for your customers?! The salad bar is sad...brown lettuce and other veggies look old. I have been here for 15 minutes and no pizza is out on the buffet at all. This place is very poorly managed and needs to be improved. I posted a picture of their empty buffet. Unfortunately, this isn't a one-time occurrence. The pizza here is okay.......when they have pizza. The buffet is VERY inconsistent. Today, everything they had out was desert pizza or with jalapeños. Yes, they will make anything for you, but then you wait 10-15 minutes...and once they put it out, everyone else wants your pizza too because there are so few. If you're going to have a buffet, keep it full. I'm drafting this review waiting on pizza. We have nothing but salad to eat. There is a group of about ten people here waiting on pizza. Wait, now it's seven...three just left and got a refund. There were no forks out for the salad. We asked, and they brought out plastic forks in a plastic wrapper (like for to-go). Don't they wash dishes? There was no soap or paper towels in the men's bathroom. Finally, why are there waitresses here to get your drinks? It's a buffet, and the drink machine is next to it. I can get my own drinks, I'm already getting my own pizza! Now I feel guilty for not leaving a tip. They run this restaurant on such a skeleton crew, instead of a waitress getting my drinks, they should be making more pizza, or washing forks, or stocking up the bathroom. We've been ordering from this pizza inn for over 30 years and while in the past it has been great, recently over the last few years they have gone through a management change. We ordered a few pizzas and a pizzert for delivery tonight and were just shocked at the subpar quality of the pizzas we received. Completely overdone on the top (brown burnt cheese) and doughy crust. I shouldn't be having to chew through a thin crust pizza. Check out attached pictures for evidence. Please stay away from this place now, stick to papa johns or dominos. At least their pizzas are consistent. They also had the nerve to ask us how many slices we had already eaten when we called to complain to get our money back. This location has been here for a long time. Even though there is alot of hate on here they still keep the doors open. Yea they aren't some fancy pizza place with fancy decorations or a hip look but they get the job done. They are good about making any requested pizza you would like. And the staff seems pretty friendly and helpfull. Yea sometimes there buffet looks bare, you just gotta wait. They will bring out fresh pizza and the salad bar is almost always on point. My favorite pizzas to request are Alfredo & Pepperoni thin crust, Potato pizza, cookie pizza and my new favorite...Bavarian Cream! Yall gotta try it and that's on the real. Don't go in expecting 5 star service but do go in expecting to be able to request your favorite type of pizza and have it come out fresh and hot. read more

I will never go back to this location. I absolutely love pizza inn but it's just been an all around bad experience as of lately.. Back in November I ordered a pizza , didn't check it before I left..I got home and it was just horrible..the toppings were sliding off the pizza, just a poor excuse. I'm sure the person slicing the pizza saw what a mess it was but still thought it was ok to give it me.. fast forward to yesterday 9/2/16...I said I'll try them one more time..why did I even bother..this time I left with no pizza..called the order in at 545p they told me 20 mins..I got there at 620, went thru the drive thru..gave the guy my name he said let me go check on it..15 mins later he never came back to the window..in the meantime another customer pulled up behind me and a delivery driver had pulled up as well, he went to her car, went inside got her pizza for her and she drove off and I'm still sitting there waiting..so it was 635 I decided I will not waste another dime at this place and drove off.. The pasta noodles were cold. The black server didn't have a hair net on and was wearing a contaminated bandage around her bicep. The worst Customer Service EVER w/a super cheap owner & incredibly rude & disrespectful staff. I've ordered from them for years as there aren't many of them left in the area. Sometimes the pizza's cold although you arrived in whatever timeframe they told you to. Ordered a couple of individual pizzas a few weeks ago where (1) was supposed to be Beef, but was actually Sausage. Went back shortly after picking them up & was lied to by one of the Staff that told me they couldn't remake it as it was (7) minutes after they closed & they'd already turned the ovens off, which take (30) minutes to reheat. They also refused to refund my money, so I left with half my order although I'd paid full price & then had to go buy additional food for my family. The next day I spoke with the Manager who acknowledged that the story about the oven was untrue & that they'd accidentally placed (2) pans of sausage out that night, so anyone ordering Beef received Sausage instead. He offered to replace the entire order + an additional pizza for my trouble, but still refused to refund my money. The next day, I went to redeem the offer he'd made that was supposed to have double toppings, which by the way, I'd actually paid for, only to find the (4) most pitiful specimens of pizzas I'd EVER seen. He tried to convince me that those pizzas with minimal toppings at best were double, so I told him they were not as I'd eaten there for years & had never seen that few toppings before. As I was over this headache, I then told him I'd be returning the pizzas & just wanted my money back as I'd ordered (2) additional pizzas that were pitiful & cold as well. He told me he couldn't refund me, and would have to call the Owner for approval to refund $12!!! Are you kidding?!? When I got there with the pizzas, he advised that the Owner approved the refund & told him to place a note in my file to NEVER serve me again, which is totally fine with me as I'd already planned to NEVER eat there again! You messed up my order TWICE & LIED to me & then have the nerve to refuse me service!!! Now, that's crazy, but hopefully, they can see that this is why Pizza Hut, of whom they used to be a large competitor, continues to grow while they've become somewhat stagnant with minimal growth!!! I ordered a single pizza for pickup. I was told it would be 15-20 minutes and to use the drive thru. I arrived at the drive thru window exactly 17 minutes after ordering and waited for 10 minutes. No one ever came to the window to greet me, take my money or tell me my pizza isn't ready so I left. Really poor customer service. I cannot speak for the food and never will be as I will not visit this establishment ever again. I wish I had come to Yelp first before ordering. Lesson learned...
