Black-owned family business with a dainty, open-window setup that lets you see everything -- I loved that. They offer fish along with pizza options, and we tried both. I must say, both were really good! The fish and okra were fried and seasoned perfectly -- and it's REAL catfish, which is definitely a plus. The Texas Sweet Heat Pizza was delicious, and my family truly enjoyed it. They even had the old-school Clearly Canadian water -- talk about nostalgia! Customer service was pleasant and welcoming. This pizza is soo good. I wanted to call ahead but I was redirected to order online on two different occasions. Online ordering is easy and wasn't difficult . I like that you can receive notifications on when your pizza will be ready. The establishment itself it less than average size but clean, and well kept. Ingredients are fresh and delectable. Parking lot needs work and sometimes a little busy. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Limited seating so this is not the ideal spot for dine in. Have not tied the wings yet but that's next on my list. This is a local pizza place that exceeds expectations compared to the regular chain pizza spots. I recommend this place to anybody looking for something different that wants quality and quantity. Pricing is fair . Desert was also a nice addition. I've been meaning to give this place a try for the longest and finally got a chance to swing by when my son declared that he was "starving" while running errands in the area. First impressions, the place super cute with a bright and airy decor! There was a guy (the owner?) that saw us enter but never looked up to acknowledge us or check on us. Someone else finally came from the back to take our order. As for the pizza, I'm in love with the crust! It's perfect, not too flimsy and has those nice little char spots that you get from handmade dough. The pepperoni pizza was great but our bbq pizza was a bit too sweet. This Is A Little Piece of Heaven in the south side of Dallas. Chef cooked pizzas fried pork chops, whole catfish, and catfish fillets! It is the best of both worlds! This was some of the best pizza I've had in the city. It was so good and fresh. The owner was super cool. He's younger and shared some of his story with me on my visit. I ordered in person so I could get some recommendations. I ordered 2 pizzas. One plain cheese and a non-pork meat lovers. Both were AMAZING. I got a cake that they sell from in the refrigerator. YUM! Ordering was easy as I did it online and I was slightly taken aback that my order would be ready in 45 minutes and thought to myself, this better be a great pizza!! The cool thing is they send you a text message giving you the status of your pizza and approximate time your pizza should be ready. When I arrived there was no parking and I had to park at the bank and walk over. There is seating inside but on this day none was available. I gave the lady my name and although I was there before the approximated time, my pizza was sitting on top of the oven. Overall the pizza looked great. I was kinda surprised because this isn't something I would normally order (it was their pizza week special) which was pepperoni & jalapeños with a hot honey drizzle. After picking my pizza up, about 10 min later I got a text letting me know my pizza was ready. Overall it's a good pizza. Staff was friendly Open kitchen- where you can see them preparing the food. I loveeeee that they offer vegan cheese. How it tastes and what brand it is--- I'm unsure. Beef bacon is a beautiful add as well. The Texas sweet heat was decent. It tasted better warmed up the next day. I love honey and pepperoni. Pictured is their size medium. It was a 3.5/5. When we heard about a black owned pizza place in the south (Oak Cliff) we were excited to try it out. We made plans to stop by on a Sunday for lunch. I'm assuming they haven't been opened long, the sign was small and hard to see. When we walked in we were immediately greeted (definite plus). Took us awhile to decide on what we wanted but as we decided I noted the place was clean and offered DoorDash. We both decided on the 6" + 5 wings. Each 6" comes with 3 toppings and they have a good variety of toppings to choose from (sorry forgot to get a pic of the options). For the wings you can choose from Plain, Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and BBQ for the flavor. Now on to the food. PROs - made to order, variety of topping choices, and that the wings are fried CONs - wings could have been cooked longer and were very fatty. Would we go back?? Delicious pizza and wings!! We had the 14" meat lovers and an order of lemon pepper wings. Both were really good. They do not skimp on the meat AT ALL. Their lemon pepper wing seasoning was different in a yummy way. I was sad that they are no longer using UberEats for delivery. We are only 6 miles away, but their personal delivery doesn't come to us. I hope that changes in the near future. This is not a sit down spot but it's a welcoming place with strong aromas of pizza as you walk in! Pretty good pizza! We got the 14in beeforoni and a 12in pepperoni and Italian sausage. The 14in had too much cheese for me but the crust on the 14in was much more puffed up and good. The 12in was flatter but still good. I wish the crust with toppings was thicker.. it was a little too thin and floppy (on the 14in). The pizza sauce was really good though, savory and seasoned. I opted for a 12 inch, build your own pizza and was not disappointed. It was definitely fresh and delicious! I even stopped back for a second time to buy a pizza for my aunt. My only issue is the amount of time it took for both pizzas each time I ordered. It took a little longer than expected, particularly the second time around. Received the worst customer service while trying to support a BOB. Ordered the seafood pizza, and have ordered the same pizza several times before. It is always served with a white sauce w/o a special request; instead of the normal red (marinara). When asking about the mistake, I was told there was nothing that could be done. I then asked for the pizza to be remade but they could not find the "white sauce". Next, I simply requested a refund and was told that she could not provide a refund. Naturally, I request a manager or at least someone that can effectively provide a solution. A call was placed, the situation explained; I even requested that the call be placed on speaker phone so that I could speak directly however the person hung up, ending the call. This could've been simply remedied and instead I was met with a crass & argumentative disposition from the manager when he finally arrived. It was a disappointing experience and a waste of time and money. The customer is not respected, valued, or heard here. The manager didn't offer a refund and never attempted to remake the pizza.
