We have ordered delivery from Mr. Jim's Pizza in Duncanville, TX for 40+ years. We place an order just about every month. We love your food. Our usual phone order is two medium, thick-crust pizzas with 2 toppings per pizza. We also get two family-size cinnamon sticks. Our first thick-crust style pizza experience was on our Honeymoon 50 years ago this month. (It was not at Mr. Jim's.) After that, we have never ordered thin-crust pizza again. Thick-crust rules! We have the cinnamon sticks with icing for breakfast throughout the week. The pizza provides us with snacks and meals for two to three days. No cooking for us, Yay! We have tried to tip the lady who takes our phone order, but she says she is not allowed to take tips. So, I want to say kudos to Joan. She has taken our order many times. She calls me by name and is friendly and professional. When asked, she cheerfully tells me about the current specials so I can save money on my order. Due to the diligent pizza cooks and the personable delivery person, our orders are always delivered on time. Before I retired, I worked about one mile from Mr. Jim's. I place online orders from this restaurant every couple months. They have a great rewards program, and the food is always ready at the time they claim. The employees are always very welcoming and get the order quickly when you come to pick it up. They always offer to give me grated Parmesan and red pepper packets. If you check out their website, they go into detail regarding the type of flour they use, their process for stretching the dough, and how it's actually made. It tastes great where the pizza has a slight chew with the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese that makes each bite tasty. I stick to pepperoni as my main topping and it's perfect each time. I need to start by saying this is my favorite pizza place. Today I drove from downtown Dallas just for a large pie. I was treated as a criminal while picking up my pizza. The way they have the cooler holding the drinks faced is towards the side. I went to the side to look and was confronted by an employee asking what I was holding behind my back.
