The good: great ambiance, one of the best waitresses I've ever had in Little Elm, decently quick kitchen while also pumping out to-go orders. The food flavor was great, there's a little bar with a tv above, or a more "intimate" area of the dining room. The fixable: I wish I could remember the name of what I got but it was lobster, shrimp, mussels, and pasta... while it was delicious- every.single.bite... had sand in it. Loud, crunchy, sand. Just clean and purge your mussels in some saltwater then rinse and hold the beach... This won't deter me from going, but highly likely to skip this dish and try something else.

We love coming here!! We try something new every time and love it every single time. The service is awesome, everyone is so warm and friendly, and the food is delicious. The pizza and pasta are to die for and the calamari is a must have wherever we come here. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and the music is always so nice. I love the lighting.

I should've known something was off when my $18 chicken Alfredo was ready in 5-6 minutes. Any other Italian restaurant I've ordered from takes at least 15-20 minutes to prepare Alfredo fresh, especially when the chicken is supposed to be properly cooked. The chicken in my dish was undercooked and had a strange texture definitely not the crispy, fully cooked chicken you'd expect. On top of that, I was charged an extra $1 for Parmesan cheese. Rushed preparation, unsafe food, and unnecessary upcharges made this a very disappointing experience. I won't be returning.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. ROMAS. Craving chicken Alfredo. Haven't been there in 5 years so hoping for the best. Walked in to see the same people running the restaurant. Could not be more excited. Everything was just as wonderful as I remember. Will be making the drive any time I'm craving Italian. Taking home the baked ziti with meat sauce for the hubs.

The atmosphere is bellissimo--luxurious yet relaxed, with chic décor and whimsical touches like sculptural trees and delicate birds that add unexpected charm. The menu is consistently excellent. Standouts include the Pappardelle Bolognese, rich and unforgettable. I also love their perfectly prepared sea bass. The bruschetta is delicious too. The Caesar salad is simple, fresh, and impeccably done. Make sure you save room for dolci--the dessert bar in the back is both stunning and indulgent. The bar is equally impressive. Troy, the bartender, is knowledgeable and engaging, delivering cocktails with true arte. Service throughout is polished and genuinely gracious that keeps guests coming back. Antonio is a fun, personable and attentive. Super! Salute isn't just a great restaurant--it's a ristorante you'll crave. Elegant, welcoming, and memorable. You must go and buon appetito!

This wasn't black polish, but whatever it was it looked scary, and not hygienic! The mushroom Alfredo pasta was just okay! The large oversized sliced portobello mushrooms thrown on top of the pasta just didn't present well, and not to mention that my salad had a piece of black hair in it...by the way my hair is blonde. When it comes to food, presentation is everything, even down to the person serving you your food and drinks. I know we live in a society where, sadly, it seems like anything goes, but I think restaurants need to maintain higher standards than a fast food place. Don't get me wrong, even fast food places should do the same! Final note: I just can't get over being served by Dracula, even though he was very nice!

We ordered the mussels and linguine in red sauce and a chicken Alfredo pasta, finished with coffees and a lemon cream cake. The pasta dishes were good and plentiful but I feel like the mussels and linguine was missing some seasoning that I can't quite put a finger on. It was still good. The lemon cream cake was good but the lemon was almost too subtle, and it tasted more like a pound cake. We still enjoyed our food and time there. I wouldn't mind giving it another go. Great for small or large groups. Till then let's eat!

Our waitress was kind and offered my partner thorough recommendations, and she brought out a complimentary dessert for my occasion (that was REALLY good despite us being so full). The atmosphere was lovely even with the craziness of apparently a graduation happening nearby. Would I pay this much for food normally? Probably not, but this was a special occasion and I think it makes a great location for that kind of event. I would recommend!

Around the Star area and trying new stuff, I found Lombardi's just by mistake. Wrong turn in Ave of…read morethe Champs and there it was. I have to be honest, this is not my first "rodeo" at this place, but this time I decided to write a review on it. So, this review will be more like an overall one instead of a specific dinner on a specific date. Let's start with the "first impression". The place is nicely set, and the decoration is phenomenal (at least for my taste). Since I normally dine alone, the bar is my best friend. This place has an "ENORMOUS" bar area, so it is very unlikely you'll not find a seat even in a very busy night. Personnel are super attentive, not like a place right in front of the street (sorry but you will have to ready my other review on a place in the area). In my several visits I ordered different things. From the Caesar's salad to the Salmon and many times different types of pasta. I have to be honest, I never been disappointed with any of the plates I ordered there, with the exception of 2. I'll explain. When it comes to appetizers, I always go with some traditional, Caesar's Salad, Prosciutto & Burrata, Caprese Salad o Carpaccio. From all of these I will recommend everything but the Caprese Salad (and this is one of my favorite plates in Italian cuisine). In this one I have to deviate from my normal way of reviewing things and say, I really don't recommend it on taste but on size and price. Basically, it is not worth what they charge for it when you can get the Prosciutto and Burrata for barely a couple of bucks more. My recommendation: stick with the prosciutto, unless you are a vegetarian. About main course, I tried they salmon (really good and light if you are not in heavy eating night), Pappardelle, which is the best if you want pasta with meat, Gnocchi, if you are in a "non-protein" night, and my favorite of the entire pile, Tagliolini al Tartufo. I know, is probably the most expensive plate in the menu, but we are talking about REAL BLACK TRUFFLE shaved onto the pasta tableside!!! When it comes to deserts, I only have once the souffle. Honestly, I did not finish it. It can be my taste, because for me, souffle, the way I discovered and loved in France has to be super fluffy and pretty much dissolve in your mouth, this one was thick and a little bit on the acid side (like it had lemon zest in it). And this constitutes the 2nd plate I did not like there. I will really love to put a 5-star rating on this restaurant, but I will have to say, in my last 2 visits, I saw a little decline on execution. Just as a sample, my gnocchi were a little overcook. I understand is easy to overcook gnocchi, but a restaurant of this kind, should pay more attention to these little things. Even though, I will keep on going to Lombardi's although won't be my first choice for Italian in town. Salute!
