Well, here I am at Palio's again! I discovered Palio's in south Fort Worth, and have been going ever since. This is my fourth location, and all have had the same great pizza! The lunch special is pizza, salad and drink for $12. A great deal. I always get the Greek salad, which is a small up charge, but it's worth it. A great salad. I also get the specialty pizza Graces Alfredo, again, a small up charge. But it's my favorite pizza here, so worth it! There are always specials, and you get special email deals when you join the VIP club. All locations have had great employees, which makes for a wonderful visit. I'm sure there are plenty of great pizza places in DFW, but Palio's is currently my favorite. Yelpers, if there is somewhere better, let me know! read more

Wwhat a nice little pizza joint! BYOB. Nice patio for outdoor dining. They have a gluten-free crust for small and large pizzas or a cauliflower crust for small. We ordered the supreme on a gluten-free crust and both really enjoyed it. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I love the pizza sauce. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I ordered the pizza and chicken Alfredo, and both were absolutely delicious! The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy crust, gooey cheese, and fresh toppings -- every bite was full of flavor. The chicken Alfredo was creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned, with tender pieces of chicken and pasta cooked just right. You can tell everything was made fresh. I've eaten at multiple locations (Crossroads & Sherman), and while I've had very good pizza at both, this is the place that deserves the praise. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich lunch special togo from here two days in a row because it was just that good, and that's coming from a pregnant lady in her first trimester. Even with two completely different staff on, the food was consistent and the sandwich was packed, unlike at other locations where it seemed a little skimped on. Place is going to crap very poor management. Used to be this nice red head gentlemen but he no longer works there apparently. The phones do not get answered which i find funny seeing as this place is always a ghost town! FIND SOMETHING TO DO! Well, it looked a lot better than it tasted. The crust tasted STALE. Is that possible? Like the stale heel of the loaf. The toppings were generous and tasty, but the crust just ruined it for me. Also, the receipt that they left on the box said $9.00, and I paid almost $20. Maybe take off the restaurant price when you add $10 to deliver last weeks crust? Sad. I eat here often, and the pizza never disappoints. This time, I opted for lasagna. It was not homemade and tasted exactly like Stouffers frozen lasagna. We placed our first delivery order tonight. The website wasn't working so I had to call. The girl was very nice and took my order. We had our food faster than expected. We ordered a large pizza, blackened chicken Alfredo, penne a-something that was spicy and a small order of cheesy bread. It was definitely more food than we could eat. I didn't realize that the pasta dishes came with cheesy bread. I could've skipped the order if I had paid better attention. Hubs has had the spicy pasta before and loved it. This time it was way too spicy - even for this Louisiana girl. So be careful if you order it. The blacked chicken is good. I think they need to rethink wrapping the cheesy bread in foil. Has potential and good food, but poor management is what has really left this restaurant fall between the cracks. To start off we were not told of the weekly lunch specials and ended up paying ten more dollars then we should of. All the tables were dirty and the sauces had seemed like they sat so long they were like jello. Food was okay could of been heated up more and the salad was just a bowl of dressing. Used to love coming here hopefully they get some management to really turn this place around. Workers need to be trained better read more

This is the best Palio's I have been to, and a favorite hideaway when I want to byob and read a book over dinner. Their lasagna is killer! Beef instead of sausage, the best way to make lasagna. Tons of flavor, and served in a boat so it stays warm for ages and the sauce soaks into the pasta. So delicious. I also like Noah's and nutty chicken pizzas. The staff are sweet and energetic, they obviously like each other and they're young, so they have fun together. It adds to the experience. A generally upbeat staff is what you want in a restaurant, take it from a former waiter. The dining room usually isn't super busy, they said most of their business is takeout or delivery. I have ordered take out, but never delivery, so I can't speak to the delivery experience. Take out was accurate, timely, and carefully packaged. I left my high end coat there once, and they took excellent care of it until I came back for it. Great staff, great experience, & delicious food. It's a winner. read more

I only gave them a 1 because the cheese was good. The crust was greasy and extremely thin, the cheese was thicker than the crust. I ordered 1 large cheese bread they charged me for a large and a small. And delivered a large and a small. I took a full piece and took one bite, my wife took a bite and the large and small went into the garbage. She did like the Greek bread. After we ate what we did we tossed the rest in the garbage. We always like cold pizza the next day. Not this time. I have to be honest I would have much rather ate a little Cesar $5.00 hot and now and an order of crazy bread. Now today, after all these years, a so-called manager refused to take and deliver the same order we placed several time since the coronavirus hit. They are hardly the only pizza game in town so sadly after all these years they will lose our business going forward. Owners be warned! Ooh la la... Palio's has some great Italian food! I love to order take-out from here. The Classic pizza is my favorite pizza here (roasted chicken, tomatoes, & mozzarella cheese). This pizza is so good, that I haven't broadened my horizons to try another one on the menu. The lasagna is what I get the most from here. It is so delicious, and it comes with warm, soft and cheesy garlic bread, which is perfect for dipping in the marinara sauce! I am always so happy after eating from Palio's. First of all let me say that Palio's is a good restaurant. The one in Hickory Creek is amazing. The pizza is phenomenal and the desserts are to die for. They're cooperating with the new law of a mask and six feet apart. My reason for one start for this Palio's is because they're not following protocol with the mask;not with coworkers or customers. The receptionist was very friendly and looked new; she wasn't wearing a mask along with the cook. The cook was not wearing gloves and on top of that he touched his pants to wipe out the cheese to later touch his phone. Needless to say he then proceeded to finish the pizza. Poor lady was very upset in front of me because they gave half their meals to them and chicken kids meal and fries were not out yet and they were almost done with their food.
