Delicious homemade Italian. Great atmosphere and fair options. I've gotta try the lasagna next and bring the family.

We liked the menu here and were looking forward to trying the place out. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. First off the service was perfunctory and slow. We order from the "Pronto Lunch" menu and our pastas took 20 minutes to come out. Portion sizes were generous and the sausage was very good, but the carbonara has overly salty with overcooked bacon (rather than pancetta) and not a lot of flavor. We might try them for dinner to see if we have better luck. read more

Our waiters name was Sean. He was so personable and friendly and kept checking on us. A very attentive waiter w fabulous service. He recommended the Sicilian lasagna for me. It was the best lasagna I've ever had. The salad was well done with delicious creamy Italian in-house dressing. We were just staying for the night in Missoula and this was close by. A great little Italian restaurant! Food was very good as was service ! My favorite dish is pasta with garlic and oil and it's actually on the menu ( thank you ) My husband had the Godfather lasagna and it was great. HUGE piece of lasagna BUT could have been warmer. The food is always fresh. The restaurant is always clean. The service is always friendly. It usually takes a while for food but that's because they prepare it fresh. It's a little bit off the beaten path as far as restaurants in the area and put of the way, but a nice change from the usual. It has been 6 years since we last ate here and it's literally the same as last time. Probably another 6 years before we come back but that's not because of food or service...just location for us. It was the ladies' choice to go here, but it was decent, casual, Ital-American fare. It's a lot like a certain restaurant chain that I will refrain from naming. Not horrible, and not outstanding. That's what the 3-star button is for, I suppose. Portions were good, and the prices were actually really affordable in my estimation. Our server was a good guy, but he was wearing a chef's coat and that was a bit confusing? If his server called in unavailable, and he had to take care of the dining area, I applaud him. My travel crew all enjoyed their meals, but then again, they all love that certain unnamed restaurant chain. And there isn't one of those in the MIssoula area, so you all can do the math... ;) read more

This place is amazing! Everything is made from scratch and is so perfectly seasoned. From seafood to lasagna, this place hits all the marks. The ingredients and preparation are top notch, true pride is taken in every element. The service here is exceptional, even on a busy Friday evening, I only wish we could transport this piece of heaven to Los Angeles. The standard fare is on the menu, along with happy surprises. A Raspberry Chicken pasta, is a thrill. The lobster ravioli was richly enhanced with shrimp, gorgeous tomatoes, and a southern girl's favorite spice, bacon. We told our waitress that we wanted suggestions and she was very informed and extraordinary helpful, her name is Jessica (say hi if you see her). I have no idea how this place stays open. They are always empty and the food is horrible. It all tastes like frozen/microwaved crap. I've had better TV dinners from Walmart for 1/4 of the price. (Been there three times, it just got worse. I've marked them as a no-go in my book. ) The rude, eye-rolling staff doesn't help. We practically have no Italian places in this area. So this is kind of sad since they could improve upon their food and fill a niche. read more

The spaghetti and meatballs was the worst I have ever tasted They claim to have a great sauce but I don't agree with that .The pasta was over cooked and the meatballs were bland. I am shocked by some of the 5 star reviews. I grew up with Italian parents in little Italy in NYC and know great Italian food. On Sunday we had an Italian feast with everything made from scratch. I did not know about spaghetti in a box, or tomato sauce in a can! I also worked in and Italian bakery and coffee shop growing up . I thought I would give it a try at Romeos. I have to say it was one of the worst experiences of Italian food I ever have. The tomato sauce was horrible, I am not sure if it is. But, the spaghetti tasted like it came out of a box. The service was horrible. One of the reasons why I was skeptical about the spaghetti is that they said they were preparing the spaghetti. The spaghetti was in the pot for about 10 minutes and when i received it. It was still hard. Spaghetti from scratch does not take over ten minutes to boil, not even in Montana's higher elevation. The desert was not memorable. The coffee was disgusting, I would never call this place genuine Italian food. read more

This place is GOD AWFUL. Seriously, do not waste your money. I was told their house Italian dressing for the salad was parmesan cream dressing when in reality it was ranch and thousand island mixed together, terrible. The pasta primavera was bland and tasteless, even though there were vegetables in it, literally couldn't taste a thing. My boyfriend got the five cheese lasagna, took one bite and immediately spit it out. My boyfriend said from the looks of the kitchen when we picked up the food they keep their sauces warm in a unit that looks like it was built for soup, so the food was not at all made to order. I was at this restaurant on Saturday and it was the worst food I've ever had in town. I got a sangria and it's an alcoholic drink. It's supposed to have fruit and wine and be in a wine glass . When it was served to me, there was no fruit there was no wine glass. It was certain a normal soda cup. It tasted like sparkling water with a little wine and cranberry juice. then for dinner I had ravioli and he came with Alfredo sauce and red sauce, which is never both sauces on your meal you get one or the other. It was so bad they couldn't even finish half my meal . My friend got a lasagna, and it had pepperoni on it, and the meal tasted like it wasn't even cooked all the way or it was cooked too much. I will never be going back to this restaurant ever again it was such a horrible experience. I will never be going back. read more

This place is SO good. We usually get the lobster bisque and it is amazing. The servers and the people in the kitchen are also totally wonderful.
