The day was perfect for soup, so we decided to go to the Soup Farm. We were greeted when we walked in, and the menu was on the wall to browse. You could tell that the menu changes seasonally due to the layout of the menu. We ordered the Vegetable Green curry soup and the Red Lentil soup. The broths were very flavorful with a bit of spice, but not too much. They had plenty of vegetables and lentils. You have several different sizes to choose from. They also offer food to go. The cilantro and cashews on top of the soup gave it a nice crunch and added flavor. The Thai Peanut salad was loaded with crunchy fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce. The bratwurst came in a sandwich. The sauerkraut was a little sweet and not bitter/sour tasting. The brat had a thin skin that was easy to bite through. The house mustard was like deli mustard with coarse seeds. The bread was soft, but a little too much for my liking. We stopped at Soup Farm as we were driving by on our way to Bozeman. This was a quick and easy stop as it was right off the highway and we were able to order online ahead of time. Traveling along 90 and stopped in Missoula for a quick lunch. Came along the Soup Farm and decided to give it a try. Absolutely loved this little gem! I was somewhat biased as it offered all my favorite things: soup, salad, and sandwiches, but my carnivorous husband left very pleased and impressed as well. Great quality, wonderful choices and options, and after being on the road for days, impressive prices for the quality and selection. Love the variety of soups they offer. The Goulash Soup was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, the potato mushroom bacon chowder lacked potatoes and bacon. we were told that we got the next to the last serving and it would have been better to not get it at all. While the soup was plentiful with mushrooms and flavor, there were zero potatoes or bacon to be found in my 32 ounce container. I will still try the other soups they offer, but if you're that low on an item, it's probably best to just not sell the last few containers if you're not going to get all of the ingredients that are supposed to be in the soup. read more
