The day was perfect for soup, so we decided to go to the Soup Farm. We were greeted when we walked in, and the menu was on the wall to browse. You could tell that the menu changes seasonally due to the layout of the menu. We ordered the Vegetable Green curry soup and the Red Lentil soup. The broths were very flavorful with a bit of spice, but not too much. They had plenty of vegetables and lentils. You have several different sizes to choose from. They also offer food to go. The cilantro and cashews on top of the soup gave it a nice crunch and added flavor. The Thai Peanut salad was loaded with crunchy fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce. The bratwurst came in a sandwich. The sauerkraut was a little sweet and not bitter/sour tasting. The brat had a thin skin that was easy to bite through. The house mustard was like deli mustard with coarse seeds. The bread was soft, but a little too much for my liking. Usually the soup is really good but today I don't know who was cooking. My partner brought home a quart of the Green Curry Vegetable Soup on 03-23-26 and it was not good. Took my elderly between doctors visits, it was PERFECT! Great choices- hard to choose- the beer cheese & brat soup was so good. Velvety goodness. Great quality, wonderful choices and options, and after being on the road for days, impressive prices for the quality and selection. Love the variety of soups they offer. The Goulash Soup was extremely tasty. Unfortunately, the potato mushroom bacon chowder lacked potatoes and bacon. we were told that we got the next to the last serving and it would have been better to not get it at all. While the soup was plentiful with mushrooms and flavor, there were zero potatoes or bacon to be found in my 32 ounce container. I. Love. Soup Farm. After always driving by and saying "man I should really go there", my girlfriend and I finally went and it was a wonderful experience. The menu was really pretty solid (dare I say eclectic, especially for soup standards). I went with a tried and true chili with fritos and the girlfriend chose a chicken noodle classic.
