Overall it was a great and easy experience. This has been my 2nd time coming into this office, the staff has been nice and helpful. They helped explain thoroughly the issues going in with my teeth and providing recommendations on how to attend to them. I was also shown what my insurance covers before proceeding with a future appointment. I scheduled an appointment as a new patient and was contacted several times via call and text, even asked to come in early to complete paperwork. I arrived early, but the doors were locked. I knocked with no response, and when I returned 10 minutes later at 9am, the doors were still shut. Very disappointed. If you open at a certain time, why are the doors locked? The good: the individual answering the phones is very friendly and they are respectful in their communication. Unfortunately that's where the positive ends. I had a 4pm appointment and came at 3:50pm. At 5:15 I left as I had a 5:30 appointment and not a single individual came to provide any updates regarding the status. As a new patient I expected to have some x-rays but they took 3 versions of pictures and I'm pretty sure it is only because my insurance covers it. I have a small mouth and no other place that I've been to have had any problems finding tools that won't cause me to gag. When I mentioned my concern, the individual taking the x-rays seemed to be annoyed by my response even though I mentioned it at the very start. They took over 60 pictures and still, by 5:15 I was waiting to see the doctor. As I had an appointment at 5:30 I needed to go and stopped by the front office to reschedule. At that time I inquired about the time frame for the follow up appointment and was given a vague response about how it ranges and could be 5-20 minutes. Still, at no point did anyone say, oh we can guarantee that the doctor can see you in ___ minutes. So I made a follow up appointment. I get a call and I am told that after telling the doctor about my experience the doctor determined that I was not a good fit. I indicated that was fine but asked about all of the x-rays as I know that any new provider is going to insist on taking new x-rays. They indicated that they already submitted the service to the insurance company. I repeatedly expressed my concerns regarding the fact that they waited to submit payment to the insurance company for over 60 images and the woman just spoke to dismissed my concerns. I expressed more concern regarding how this seemed fraudulent to me (to take tons of pictures, submit it for payment and only then determine that someone isn't a good fit) and the lady seemed surprised that I would bother to advocate for myself. If this company determined that a patient wasn't a good fit and then indicated not trying to receive payment, that would be fine. But to submit request for payment for over 60 images and only then after submitting a request for payment to determine that a patient was not a good fit seems more than unethical, it seems fraudulent!!!!!!! read more

Just had five crowns put on, I did not experience not one ounce of pain or sensitivity, something that I was surely expecting. Dr. Romero and his assistant Maria are by far the best dentist that I have ever went to. Just six months ago I had work done on the same teeth, and ended up with a serious infection, with a dentist that didn't Care. The last dentist had a fancy office and lots of state of the art equipment but I did a horrible job. After that experience I was terrified of going back to the dentist but had to repair the work that was done. Dr. Romero has skills, and compassion.
