The wash itself is a good quality wash and not time consuming. My favorite feature is the free towels available to dry your vehicle. It's is so convenient. Two reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars..... First reason, I know the towels are free to use but the last several times I've used the towels, it left horrible smudges and streaks on every window. These were different towels then the ones you originally stated with. It was completely horrible. Second reason, location! During the week it is practically impossible to get to the entrance without almost getting in an accident. The driveway to get to the car wash and out of it is the same driveway for Circle K and an Elementary School. WORSE set up ever!

So many of these self serve car washes don't have the air dryer, which is super annoying. I went here after having my car windows tinted by Copperstate Motor Club. The owner of the tint shop gave me a QR code to scan to obtain a few minutes of free wash. When I pulled up to the car wash all the stalls were full except one and the QR code wouldn't scan. I wound up paying $16 for a few minutes of water and air. My second visit here was after Copperstate Motor Club re-tinted my car. I pulled into a stall and the QR code scanner worked. After spraying my car down with water, I flipped the switch on the control box to air and....nothing. The air dryer was broken. Luckily there was another stall that was open so I pulled into that one and was able to use the air dryer. This car wash has 5 stalls I think and two aren't working properly? I don't think that's acceptable.

Car went through the wash system just fine and was met by a couple of people who went right to work with drying. They weren't particularly busy so that was nice! Overall a great job this time around and I truly appreciated the no-pressure welcome when we first arrived. I've experienced high pressure to purchase the membership or the more costly wash and this time I started by saying what wash I wanted and when asked about the membership, told him no that I wasn't interested. I went there and bought a special subscription and the wash was surprisingly better than more expensive places like cobblestone. I had to fill out a paper receipt for the "contract" but I took a few photos to get all the details. Don't forget to do that if you want to do a subscription. The manager helped me with it and was nice. I just felt bad for the girl handing me the towels and air freshener because she looked like she was rethinking her life choices and you could tell she didn't want to be there and I don't blame her. These places might be shady but the employees aren't usually involved in the scams, they just need a job. The wash was pretty decent getting off all the bird crap and dirt that has accumulated on the car for months. The only residue was very tough bird poop specs and dead bugs on the front bumper, but no car wash is gonna get that off. The vacuum area was clean and the towels provided were fluffy and bright and looked new. My happy friend was restocking the towels as I was drying and I found that I only needed one towel to dry and wipe the inside of the door jams. I just hope that when the time comes after my promo ends, I can cancel the subscription easily. I marked my calendar to do it several weeks before like the receipt says.

I do Salem when some heavy-duty grime has hit the car, and it definitely got the job done! They have I believe 4 Bays available to wash, and most vehicles spend no more than 5-10 mins so the wait isn't so bad. The nice thing is the bay takes a credit card, but be advised to monitor your time as you're doing each item, as it will continue to roll and charge after the base time provided. It's pretty straightforward if you've ever used one before. Make sure to actually switch & push stop and cancel on the dial when done. For this recent trip, I spent about $5 & yes, I managed to scrub off all of the bugs in the front and hit on some other areas that the typical car wash misses (unlimited wash one). When I'm done, I didn't stress too much about cleaning the interior or drying it down and just drive it over to the unlimited place and let them deal with it when I have time. The location is important to me and one of the few that offers/has a "touch" approach to cleaning the car at a very low price.
