Romy's is a cross between an old fashioned supper club and a banquet hall. Who wouldn't want to try a joint that displays a giant replica of a cow mounted on the rooftop. The restaurant has a large bar area where you can have the WI classic old fashioned before your meal. We visited here on a Sunday during brunch which is done buffet style. I think the buffet style all you can possibly stuff yourself with may be Romy's niche. I presume they offer individual to order dinners on other days/nights but I say this with uncertainty. The buffet included broasted chicken, ham & beef tips with mashed and roasted potatoes. There was a fairly large salad bar and dessert bar. There was also cold cut ham for sandwiches, which was a surprise to me for this type of buffet. Being a Sunday morning /afternoon I was a little disappointed there was not any breakfast offerings (bacon, eggs, pancakes). I didn't particularly care for how the dining process is set up. You have to purchase a ticket from the bartender to be able to eat. You then give the ticket to a person by the buffet who makes a mark on your hand with a marker to show you've paid. Once you seat yourself at one of the many banquet tables a server brings you a pitcher of water. If you want anything else to drink at the table other than coffee or water you have to pay for that separately from your original ticket purchase. The food was plentiful and each offering was properly warm/hot. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Brunch tickets for two adults came to $25.00. I will likely return but it's not one of those at the top of my priority to stop type places.

This has become a family tradition for a great Thanksgiving meal. We come every year for lunch. The buffets are always full including the desserts! The kids love the ice cream machine and we love the variety. I can't wait to come back for Friday Fish Fry.

We eat here maybe 6 times a year. It's good. Not not five star but it's for sure a place we come back to.

Quaint restaurant/bar/ballroom. Great job on fried fish. Sides were good but not great. Excellent price for what you get and a full bar.

The wedding had a great taco bar at the end of the night and had Spotted Cow on tap.

The fries with burger were exceptional. The chicken and waffles didn't disappoint. Burger I ordered medium and would go medium rare in future. We will be back. This is very handsome venue with extremely reasonable price point at lunch! What a pleasant surprise. Super impressed and enjoyable experience And server Lillian was so sweet, pleasant and super attentive! This is a fabulous place in Fish Creek! Alex the bartender

There are not many places in Door County where you get quality, well prepared food...as sad as it…read moremakes me to say that. However, to give credit where it is due, Cut is one of the exceptions. The 18oz ribeye seemed more like Choice instead of Prime in terms of tenderness, which is mostly why they get 4 instead of 5 stars, though it was still pretty good. Service and atmosphere were very good to excellent. My only knock is that the wine-by-the-glass selection is a little sparse. Only having 4 or 5 reds to pick from is not adequate for a steakhouse. Usually, our go-to for an upscale night out has been Chives, but after poor service, declining food quality, and them losing our reservation last time we tried to visit, we've stopped going. We may give Chives another chance at some point, but our visit to Cut was a far better experience than any we've ever had anywhere else.

The rarity time off we snuck over here and could not have been more impressed! Very much a unique place in Appleton but takes you to a big city like NYC or Portland. The vibes, decor, overall environment was welcoming. Food was delicious! We got BYO omelette and Cheese risotto cake with braised beef short ribs. Both were cooked to perfection and flavors aplenty. Not overly salted which many places can be. The perfect portion size that we didn't even need to take anything to go. Honestly impressed. Even more cool is they try to source ingredients locally when they can so it's helping our community. Very excited to have found this place and will be back for more! We did try some of their specialty drinks and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu whenever we get the chance. We came back for a second visit fairly quickly because we kept thinking about the food! We got some breakfast bowls and added protein to it. Again, this place did not disappoint in the slightest! Happy eating!

They're located in an old building along the main street in downtown. For lunch, they seemed to have a short list of items...and not really catering to a red meat eater like me. I picked the chicken pesto sandwich since I normally eat chicken sandwiches for lunch and opted for the house potatoes. Our waitress was very loopy and loud add seemed overly happy about her job. My colleague thinks she was yelling at us whem she spoke, but I believe that is just how some people talk. My chicken sandwich was good...but the chicken breast seemed like a machine formed patty and it was small. I was expecting something a little fresher, like a whole grilled chicken breast for the price. Instead, this seemed like a pre-made patty from a vendor they just heated up in an oven. The house potatoes were simple and pretty good though. They add cheese and herbs and spices to these to amp them up. I can't really speak for the breakfast or cocktail program, but their music was pretty good.
