He is my favorite Doctor. He showed me his technique on how he confuses the gums so I won't feel the anesthesia. I was amazed!! He has a great staff as well. I feel at home when I have my appointments. They know my whole family by name and always greet us with smiles. He even has movies for you to watch while he's working on your teeth! The friends and family members that I've recommended him to are all very satisfied with his work. My mother recently had her tooth implants done and she constantly compliments Dr. Hernandez about the comfort and convenience they bring. Highly recommended and greatly appreciated!!! My toddler had his first dentist appointment and was apprehensive at first, but once the staff "named" the various tools giving them kid-friendly nick names and started talking about the movie "Cars" he was immediately at ease. My elementary school aged daughter also started seeing Dr. Ron when she was a toddler and she has memories of digging in the treasure chest after her appointment. I finished a series of thorough cleanings and was given a card and a bottle of organic sparkling cider. I also received a gift card in the mail, too. I Have Found the Perfect Dentist Office I have never looked forward going to the dentist, and in my opinion, I think that view is shared with the majority of people. Luckily for me, that has officially changed. I came to Dr. Ron Hernandez office mostly by chance. I was in the market for a new dentist and something gravitated me to his office when I was searching for practitioners in my area. I am entirely grateful for my find, and i think that it is important to spread the word. First impressions are always important. When I arrived at Dr. Hernandez's office for the first time, the office staff was indeed friendly and welcoming. But it goes beyond the standard. Dr. Hernandez has assembled an amazing team who indeed care about each and everyone of their patients. I have had the pleasure working with Jaclyn, Dr. Ron Hernandez's Dental Assistant, who always makes you feel comfortable (esp. me, who is definitely a bit of a scardy cat) and keeps you well informed about the action plan of your appointment, Jennifer, Dr. Ron Hernandez's Dental Hygienist, who is gentle and thorough and always cheerful, and Vivian, Dr. Ron Hernandez's Patient Care Coordinator, who is a master of getting all of the tough insurance deets lined up and more. When I met Dr. Hernandez for the first time, that welcoming and caring feeling was exuded through him as well. And he is very good at what he does. Just sharing my recent experience, I now know why they refer to him as the Extraction Specialist. He is a Wizard. I am not a stranger to extractions by any means and when I went in to get this one done, I was absolutely dreading it. Dreading it... especially because it was a molar. Yikes! But, amazingly it was a breeze, even when receiving the Novocaine injections. He walked me through the steps and in less than 5 minutes, all done! I am writing this review the very next day because I am just so happy with my experience. There is almost no swelling, no bleeding or soreness. Crazy awesome! So, if you are looking for a new practitioner or thinking of finding someone else, I 100% recommend Dr. Ron Hernandez. read more

I came to Dr. Hernandez for an evaluation of any work potentially needed on my implant and dentures. I have the implant for 30 years without any significant visits to any dentist, hence I wanted an expert to take an objective look at the situation in my mouth. Dr. Hernandez gave me what I wanted: a straightforward, down to earth and honest evaluation of my specific situation without any attempt to "create" a treatment plan that was not needed at this time. After going to a dentist office where they had my 5 year old screaming because she was scared, holding her down kicking and screaming and I was told only way to get ANY dental work done was to put her to sleep that even putting her in the straight jacket would probably not help. 24 hours later I decided to give someone else a chance at helping my scared child. Ron Hernandez was the dentist magician I prayed I would find. He got it done my daughter did NOT cry, was NOT given the gas to breathe to keep her calm, was NOT put under to sleep and was NOT given that special cocktail some dentists do to make kids sleep. He made a scared child that 24 hours ago swore not to ever see a dentist again into her quote "Mom I don't ever want to go to any other dentist, I really like this place they are really nice." She never felt the shot to numb her she was talked to and explained everything every step of the way. The staff that Ron has on his team did an amazing job too. I heard one of them singing to my daughter as they worked on her to make her feel better and to keep her occupied how cool is that? The icing on the cake is this office is a Delta Dental PPO in network dentist so I was very excited that I was able to find such a amazing dentist in delta dental PPO network. read more

My son Justin (9 years old) had a collision with another student at camp and chipped his front adult tooth. OOOUCH. This was on a Friday afternoon. I called Dr. Hernandez and gave him the story. He got Justin into the office the same day; all before Dr. Hernandez was to go on his own family vacation. When he saw my son he calmed both of our nerves and gave us the available options. I loved the fact that he listened to Justin and did not dismiss him just because he was a kid. This is the type of service you get with Dr. Hernandez and the rest of the people in the office. Everyone and I mean everyone is professional, friendly, considerate, and understanding. Not what I was use to from other dental clinics.
