This week, I went in for my routine six-month cleaning and X-rays. Everything went well, and I was told my X-rays looked great. Before I left, however, a new dentist came in for a quick exam and told me I needed two dental procedures within the next couple of weeks. It didn't feel quite right, but I trusted the recommendation and scheduled the appointment. Something continued to bother me, so I sought a second opinion from a prosthodontist. After a thorough evaluation, she told me the recommended procedures were unnecessary and strongly advised me not to move forward with them. I called West End Dental Associates to express my concerns. I was told the dentist I saw was a new hire and that the head dentist would call me the following day to discuss the situation. Unfortunately, I never received that call. What concerns me most is not just that I was given what another dental specialist considered poor clinical advice, but also the complete lack of follow-up after I raised my concerns. That experience has caused me to lose confidence in the practice, and I will be taking my dental care elsewhere.

He took X-rays of my tooth from every side, with a lot of attention. My tooth had no damage. I did not need the work. He could have agreed with the other, done unnecessary work and scam me out of $2,000.00. I know that he cares about me and does his best for me. I've sent a few people to him and they all "love" him.
