    Turkey sandwich

This is the worst chicken cutlet sandwich I ever tried in my life. Maybe I ordered it wrong but it came plain. To top it off, the chicken taste like a frozen chicken patty they used to give us in the lunch room during elementary school days. Did not taste like real slices of chicken. Next time my job wants to order, I'll just stick with their sandwiches for now.

Perfect breakfast stop with a variety of sandwich combinations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small patio for outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Always happy to see gluten free bread as a menu option. Friendly and helpful staff.

The bagels we had were delicious and their smoothies are FRESH. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is in need of some renovations[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but the staff was friendly and prompt. If you're looking for a local deli, this is it!

This is the place to go if you're looking for a fresh ingredient sandwich! I ordered the taste of Tuscany which included two types of deli meat and lots of veggies! It is more of a grab and go place, only having 2 small tables but the staff is friendly and provided quick service. They have many menu options ranging from breakfast to hot and deli sandwiches.

hi everyone, my friend kaitlyn gray did a really nice gesture and treated me to lunch today we got the Honey Beecham and the Mostly Mozzarella we each got one half of both sandwiches literally the best method when eating out with another person I pyo let me tell u rn that honey sandwich was soooo gooooodddd oh my gosh I want another one right now imagine biting into a soft, fresh portuguese roll that's packed with albacore tuna and the tuna is creamy and rich, PERFECTLY complemented by the most delicious honey mustard sauce that gives it a little kick. as you continue to bite, you get the sweetness from the roasted red peppers, which adds a delightful contrast. the crispy shredded lettuce and cool cucumber slices give it a refreshing crunch. it's a sandwich that will completely change how you think about tuna the mostly mozz sandwich on the other hand. i do not know why I thought it would be a good idea to try I think because I can tolerate eggplant but this sandwich had the fattest piece of eggplant in there boi and the balsamic vinegar made it sour idk if it was the vinegar actually maybe the sprouts but after I took the eggplant off it was still good. final rating for the beecham: 11/10 mostly mozz: 5/10 :/ the honey beecham definitely carried this whole review. i had a good experience and the staff was super nice. thank u for reading and bye

Pretty solid sandwiches. Everything tasted good and the ratio of the ingredients was near perfect. More of a takeout vibe but there is seating. Staff is friendly.

Sandwich Maestro is amazing. I've had their breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and specialty sandwiches and haven't been disappointed once. The people who work there are incredibly kind and you can tell they care about the product. The basil shallot mayo is amazing, and there are so many bread options. Only "complaint" is that I wish they were open later, as I'd love to grab dinner from here. You won't regret giving them a try

I've been eating lunches at this deli for the past five years. I think this is the best traditional deli in downtown Stamford.

Inside, the café is clean, inviting, and has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for grabbing a coffee or catching up with a friend. I ordered a large cold brew with vanilla syrup, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. Smooth, refreshing, and nicely balanced without being overly sweet. I would absolutely order it again. For food, I tried the Breakfast Burrito, although it's really closer to a Crunchwrap than a traditional burrito. It comes with scrambled eggs, bacon, peppers and onions, cheddar cheese, avocado mash, tater tots, and lima crema. On paper, it sounded like a home run. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to the description. It ended up being extremely greasy, mushy, and surprisingly lacking flavor despite having so many ingredients. I kept expecting each bite to get better, but it never really did. It was one of those dishes that had a lot of potential but just missed the mark. My cold brew and breakfast came to $23.84 with tax, which felt a little expensive for a breakfast wrap and coffee. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee because it was excellent. As for the food, I'd probably try something different next time. If the kitchen can match the quality of the coffee, this place could be a real standout.

Visiting the area from Los Angeles for business so I really wanted a diner for a dinner option. My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.

I was meeting up with a few friends I hadn't seen in what felt like forever, so I wanted to find a…read morespot that would make the occasion special. After doing a little research, I came across The Wheel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I made a reservation for Sunday brunch. Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first, and parking took a minute to figure out, but I eventually learned you can park for free at the Village next door, which made things much easier. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted and shown to the outdoor seating area. Walking through the restaurant, I was impressed by how beautiful the property is. It is incredibly spacious, sits right on the water, and even has an additional outdoor area next door where you can relax away from the restaurant. The views alone make this place worth visiting. Our server, Freddy, was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. Now onto the food. To start, we shared the Breakfast Pizza, topped with smoked bacon, crispy potatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, two eggs, and fresh cracked black pepper. It was a fun twist on brunch and had great flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp and Grits, made with cheddar grits, wild caught shrimp, a poached egg, and chimichurri. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich looked outstanding. Made with organic Murray's chicken, hot honey, coleslaw, and dill pickles, it came with fries and disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, featuring grilled hanger steak, two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri. The steak had excellent flavor, although I ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. It was my only real issue with the meal. We also tried a couple of cocktails. The Orange Crush was refreshing and perfect for brunch, while the bourbon, Aperol, peach, Earl Grey, and lemon cocktail was smooth, balanced, and equally enjoyable. Dessert was the perfect ending. The Take 5 Sundae with peanut butter crunch, pretzels, whipped cream, vanilla bean caramel, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge was absolutely delicious. We also had the Tres Leches, topped with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which was light, moist, and a great way to finish the meal. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious. Aside from the slightly confusing entrance, parking, and my overcooked steak, the entire experience was outstanding. The waterfront setting, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and quality food make this one of the best brunch spots in Stamford. I will definitely be back. Next time I already have my eye on the Banana Buttermilk Bread, Village Breakfast, Braised Short Rib Hash, Wheel House Burger, Margherita Pizza, Smoked Salmon Pizza, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich for myself. For drinks, I want to try the Charred Citrus, One in a Melon, and the Orange Crush. And I definitely need to save room for the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.

Favorite dish selections per voting of the table, were the brussel sprouts (~$20), calamari (~$20), and NY strip (~$50) specifically because of the tallow fried rice that laid underneath the steak! Although we enjoyed the quality and quantity of food, the service was quite slow. Our waitstaff didn't come by very often to take drink orders, refill water glasses, or follow up. It didn't seem too busy that evening, so we were a bit surprised. We stayed in the dining room on this trip, but hope to come back for a nice evening when the outside patio area is available.
