I would never do a stitch of business with this man and will spread the word to friends, family and co-workers to avoid this place like the plague. I stopped by to discuss some flooring challenges I was having in my house and Ron seemed to be very professional at first. As soon a he realized all I needed was a small bath done in sheet vinyl, he got very rude and squirrelly. After about another minute or two he got very sarcastic and started mocking the concerns I had regarding the installation, the material I wanted, concerns I had with the condition of the floor now, etc... I explained I was willing to pay a premium since the job was so small but he didn't want to have anything to do with it or me. Completely unprofessional and actually half childish/half scary-type unprofessional. I go out of my way to make sure that people know about businesses like this and will do no less in this case. I've had great to terrible experiences with contractors while fixing up my house (roofers, gardeners, stucco, gates, decks, masonry, etc.) and this was definitely the worst and strangest I've had yet. Ron was very responsive to our needs. He showed us many options for both carpeting and flooring for our living/dining room area in our home. He let me take samples home to help me decide, then came and measured our area for the carpet we decided on. He was honest about how soon he thought he could get it to us and it ended up coming in sooner than originally planned. He was great with communicating with us and quick to install once we were ready. We have worked with Ron for the past 18 years for all our carpeting and flooring needs. This guy is incredibly rude. I asked him to measure and bid my flooring and he straight up said he wasn't going to waste his time giving me a bid.. waste his time? That's all he is supposed to do for a living and he passed on an $8,000 floor job. Ron is a joke and he is two faced. We have used Ron's at least twice. I believe we have gotten a total of 3 estimates from him, so one time we did not go with him. We had him come out to do an estimate where he said something like, "if you don't use me this time, don't bother calling me (for an estimate) again." Excuse me? Did you forget we have given you business previously and had referred you to others? Not anymore. We ended up getting some nice stuff from Fancy Floors on 190th for cheaper (per sq yard than our previous receipts/estimates from Ron's) that looks great. Jerk! read more

My experience with Ron was extremely positive. We wanted to compare his prices with our local hardware store. Ron showed up for the estimate exactly as scheduled. His price was considerably lower than the local hardware store and the quality of his laminate and the cushioning under it much better. Ron's installation crew arrived on time, but I made a major error and was not home when they arrived. They rescheduled for the next day with no problem. The tile demolition took longer than expected, but Ron's crew worked very hard all day and into the evening. They were polite, professional, cleaned up at the end of Day 1 and finished up the following day. The wood floors are beautiful. I will return and use Ron again for my laminate floor needs. read more

Thank you for the wonderful job you did on my floors, in June of 2015. The richness of the laminate makes it look and feel like real wood. The tile in my bathrooms, kitchen and hall, makes the clean up an easy job and with my busy life easy is spectacular. Your advice on using carpet on the steps was great and again I have that rich look. The work still looks great after over 11 months. Your men took only 3 days to complete, as you predicted. After a major plumbing leak, our bedroom rug and vintage bathroom flooring were tossed out by the plumbers and I needed to find both the same kind of rug since the whole house had one continuous rug, and the same bathroom treatment as before. He found exactly the same floor coverings for both the bedroom and bathroom. Unbelievable! No one could help me except Ron, who had kept a record of our name and the kind of floor coverings he had installed years ago. Who does that any more? Ron is amazing. We've been doing business with him for years and he is always there when needed. Recently, I chose to go with my contractor for flooring, knowing I should have called Ron for the job, but didn't.
