What a delightful find on my way home from the lab! Ron's greeted me with wonderful response times from the staff, magnificent food, and a cozy, homey atmosphere! Our server, Jenny, was extremely funny, helpful, and charismatic. She really made my day! The Stromboli and wings I had were both delightfully done, the sauces were magnificent, and the menu is amazingly diverse, with options for basically any person's palette. The seats are cozy and have plenty of space, and the prices are very affordable for how large the portion sizes are (attached photo is under half of the small size of their Stromboli, can you believe it?) Ron's shows that you can never judge a book by its cover; this small little grill tucked away in the corner of a road was a real diamond hidden beneath the rough. Absolutely recommended! read more

I was eating out with my husband and another couple at Ron's. The waitress was taking our orders. I ordered a Turkey Rubin and she asked if I wanted a Pickle. I said "Yes", she then said to me "Are you going to eat it" ? I didn't know what to say as I was rather embarrassed and shocked at the Question ! Attempted to order over the phone. It was an absolute exercise in futility The young lady must have asked for my phone number at least three times and didn't know their menu. She struggled to understand my very simple order of a protein platter burger with lettuce and tomato. She was clearly confused and irritated. I didn't want a traditional burger on a bun (why have a protein platter on your menu of your staff seemingly finds it irritating when I order it?) I also stated no cheese and she responded by saying "no cheese with a heavy exhale. This young lady seriously has zero business working in a restaurant whatsoever. At ten minutes I said that I needed to get going and if it was going to be nuch longer I would simply order elsewhere and she responded with "maybe you should decide what you want befoe you call". I actually knew what I wanted - she simply didn't know the menu and / or how to operate their point of sale system. She also took great pride in stating that my card didn't go through. I found this rather comical because my bank always texts me and emails me when a charge doesn't go through, which means that with one hundred percent certainty, this girl input the wrong card number. Shocking. I then asked to speak to the manager and was given Andrew, who was equally pathetic in his handling of the situation. He even laughed as I explained my frustration. I'm guessing Andrew is simply a coworker who tried to deflect the situation from getting to a real manager. I'm not remotely interested in giving you guys a second chance. The girl on the phone and Andrew both need to find jobs that don't involve working with the general public because they suck at it. Update: later in the evening I received a voicemail from a man who failed to identify himself by name and simply stated I should call back to work things out in a monotone voice and didn't really sound genuinely interested. My guess is the owner told him to do so after I sent him this review on Yelp. I don't need or want anything from this place. I'd go hungry before giving them a dime. Get your act together guys! 2nd update: seeing the response here on Yelp ramble on about their wonderful menu is insanely tone deaf. I'll find alternate places to order from and will make sure to use this in my next training class as an example of how not to alienate a customer! read more

Best meatballs ever! My wife makes exceptionally great meatballs. Ron's meatballs are (sorry dear) as good and perhaps just a touch better! (I'll be in the doghouse if she reads this.). We visited later than our normal dinner time so i didn't want a full meal, so i ordered "just" a meatball hoagie. It came stuffed with 5 large luscious meatballs, smothered in Ron's excellent marinara sauce and covered with a huge amount of mozzarella cheese. It was hugged in a perfectly warmed (not toasted Chris!) 12" Italian roll. Perfect! Best I've ever had! Our visit was on a busy Saturday night but only had a 10 minute wait. We are new the the area and were excited to try Ron's out this Friday. My boyfriend has Celiacs- so the many GF options were attractive to us. We were told that we were pretty lucky to get seated right away - we sat at the bar. It is normally very packed. We were happy to get a seat & have prompt, friendly service. The gluten free options were great, prepared very well. I ordered the Italian hoagie, it was delicious. The bread was soft but crunchy. The meat seemed fresh shaved. There was a man playing some acoustic music. I typically don't like live music indoors while I'm out to eat- but this was enjoyable and at at a good volume to still enjoy conversation. We were in town for work. Referred by an amazing local couple. Service was a bit slow but to their credit, they were busy and we did not have a reservation. Only waited about 15 mins though so not bad. Let's get to the good stuff.. they had specials from the bar plus specials on the food menu. We all had the filet mignon. We all loved it. Cooked perfect. This Jack sauce that two of us had was really good. I am unsure of what the ingredients are so if you have food allergies, I would ask. I also had a Greek salad which was great but I forgot to ask for no green peppers as I am allergic. There were green and red pepper in it. They provided the table with perfectly toasted garlic toast with our meal. Very good! Broccoli was cooked perfect because as you can see from the pic, I am eating my leftovers next day. The most impressive item? The sweet potato! Idk how they did it but it's cooked perfectly, maintaining its integrity but super soft in the center. Even the next day, just as good. After hearing from family about Ron's, I went in on a Sunday and ordered almost 70 dollars worth of food and was asked if I had my reward card. I told them I didn't have one , but I would like to sign up and I was told they were switching to an on line program and I wouldn't be able to sign up until Wednesday. I said that was fine... Could I keep my recipt and apply it to the program when it started. The man I spoke to signed my recipt and said he would get back to me after he spoke with someone. When they brought my food out I was told that they wouldn't honor their own loyalty pro -gram until Wednesday, because the company THEY were working with was dragging their feet on the roll out. What kind of loyalty program is that. They couldn't just ring up the order at a future date and apply it to the program? I don't think you should make the customer pay for you not being prepared.
