I came here awhile ago for an Eagles game with some friends and we got a bunch of wings. The wings were really good. Sadly there was a few Cowboys fans there . Yesterday I came and got nachos. The nachos didn't have enough cheese and meat on it. I also got a Medium Rare American Burger. Wasn't good. It was sloppy and fell apart easy. The lettuce was already falling out when I got it. The service was really good though. The lady was super funny and nice. The place was nice because it was trivia night. High top chairs outside were uncomfortable though. read more

Timothy's has nice indoor and outdoor dining albeit inside is somewhat darkish. Great place to watch games with its Jumbotron like TVs. Service is always good and attentive even with larger crowds. The combo app is good, burgers are great, and beer is ice cold. Other food that I have seen served looks awesome; I just haven't been there (yet) to try more. A decent option if you're looking for a bar and grill option in the Lionville/Exton area. The Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Fried Mozzarella, and Boneless Wings are solid choices, though not necessarily the best I've ever had. The Buffalo Chicken Dip is very tasty and the chips tasted like they were freshly made. The best items on the menu are probably the burgers - just be prepared that they're a bit on the larger size. There are plenty of adult beverages on the menu, though some of the cocktails leave a little to be desired. However, there are some good happy hour deals that make it easier to explore the options. The service is friendly and prompt, even during busier times. The seating areas were clean, if maybe showing a few signs of age. Overall, everything at Timothy's was good, but not necessarily great or the best option in the area. read more

First I want to apologize to Timothy's for taking this restaurant for granted. You are only a Mike or two from my home, I drive by it often and keep saying that we need to go there more often. Every time that we have gone, the food and service have always been outstanding. It is a varied menu at outstanding prices. It was a standard Saturday evening and my wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat. We ended up at a different restaurant that we were familiar with and was usually ok. It has been some time since they were outstanding, but it is usually a known commodity. This time we went, to a half empty restaurant, were sat immediately, and waited for a server. And waited... no one cane to greet us for over 15 minutes. I flagged down the host that sat us and mentioned that our server had not been by and he consulted the seating chart to find out who it should be and then disappeared. Another 10 minutes with no server. My wife is diabetic, had taken her medicine, and this amount of time with no food or drink was starting to affect her sugar negatively. At this point I am ready to leave, but my wife wanted to speak to the manager to make them aware (and trust me - we are NOT those people). We found the same host again, he disappeared to the back to find the manager, and considering the situation took far too long to come out to see us, was unapologetic, and extremely condescending. We said our piece, he walked away, obviously not caring, so we left. We got in the car, trying to think of somewhere else to go, thinking of somewhere still close and the old "we haven't been to Timothy's in a while" thought came to mind. So we went there. We were seated immediately, greeted by our server, Had great food at a great price (better than the other place), outstanding service in a great atmosphere. I will never overlook Timothy's again. So thank you Timothy's for saving that Saturday night. I get in a bit of a funk when bad things happen as the evening started, but you saved the day. It takes a mind-blowing experience to get a full 5 stars from me, but please don't think that rating 4 stars is an insult at all. We will be back often! read more

Passed this to many times and never stopped in , now I know why. Had a Valentine's Day menu special and at 630 not even two hours into dinner ran out of two items on the menu including blue moon beer. They subed chicken breast that came out hard like cardboard and no flavor. We Asked the manager to take something off the bill and took off 3$ which was like a slap in the face !! The ribs served with the chicken were crispy on the edges and over cooked. My salmon was not the best either.. We definitely should've stayed at McGerks, which was our original plan. We had a great time here! We were looking to watch some Penn State football, and couldn't find a place that was showing the game, but of course Timothy's had it! Our bartender, Rochelle, was super nice and attentive. We watched the whole game there, and we ate lots of yummy bar snacks. The thai shrimp were delicious! Recommend the flatbreads too - the spinach and ricotta was good and it lasted for our midnight snack later that evening! First off, let me state that I've never written a bad review before this and I've never ever asked for a meal to be comped at a restaurant . I went to Timothy's for HH recently with a large group of friends. Everything was going great until I found a live green stink bug in my side salad. I had already eaten most of the salad when I noticed it. Brought it to the servers attention. Instead of compensating me for the salad, she briefly apologized and then brought me a new salad. I picked through it looking for bugs and ate some of it to be polite but I didn't want it. At the end of the meal, she brought me my check and charged me for the entire meal. No compensation for having a live potentially egg laying bug in my salad. When I asked her about it, she said " oh, did you want your meal comped? I said " at least don't charge me for the salad". She said she would check with her manager. All the manager did was use a 10% DHS football discount and gave me 1.88$ off my 18$ meal. Seriously??? That's insulting and no way to run a restaurant. I've seen restaurants comp patrons for their entire meal because their chicken was dry. This was a live bug for Gods sake! You now lost a patron and probably a lot of her friends. read more

Place was absolutely disgraceful. Was told a 15 min wait so sat at the bar to pass the 15 mins. We ended up waiting for 35 minutes and didn't get served a drink at the bar for 25 mins. She was extremely slow and made the wrong drinks. She then convinced everyone that the drinks she made were good and we should try them. First off no, get us what we ordered. We then got sat down and the service was extremely slow. We were again given the wrong drinks. The bartender goofs around the whole time. Outdoor dining on the patio is an option here which is why we came here. It was not crowded on a weekday, and we wanted some beers & sandwiches. Arrived and went immediately to a table, a broken table but ok we can deal with it. Our waitress who told us she was new arrived shortly after, please can I ask that you wear a mask that covers your face parts when you are near customers, I wasnt thrilled with this, it's the least you can do when dealing with ur customers. No complaints on the food we had 2 diff sandwiches the Colorado chicken and Calif Turkey wrap. Both tasty & the fries were very good. I'm a regular at the Timothy's in Delaware. I came here and ordered the salmon blt with fries. They never gave me a menu to look at. I'm unaware until I get back to my studio that it's a wrap. I return back and told them the mix up. I asked if I can switch and get something else. Not only they refused to but tried and put the blame on me! The manager says that they wouldn't give me a refund or allow me to substitute! I was told that I would have to pay for two items! This is unacceptable and they don't care about their customers! My wife and I had lunch here. The food was good. I had a cheesesteak and my wife had salmon. We enjoyed the place and will definitely go back when we have a chance. I would say that I qualify as a regular at this spot, it is very close to home for us so we usually venture out on a Friday or Saturday night. I've had several of their menu options over the last few years and have settled on their pizza for my usual order. They actually changed the recipe as of today and it seems more in line with your Italian pizza shop, which is great! They used to do flatbreads. The burger would be my second option here or if it's a football Sunday they have a great cheese steak deal. All in all, great upscale sports bar atmosphere with great bar tenders (shout out to Megan), with great specials and events locally. Check out their online event calendar! I have been patronizing Timothy's for years without any problems or issues. Today I had a horrible experience and service ever! The woman's name "Freda" said she was the manager. I have been ordering cauliflower pizza since November because of dietary restrictions. Each time I have ordered cauliflower it has been delicious. Today I ordered cauliflower pizza with shrimp as I always have done in the past without any problems. She kept insisting I needed to order crabmeat and something else. I picked up my pizza and I am driving home. The smell from the box was a little overwhelming. I opened the box and it had bacon on it. I drove 20 minutes back to exchange it. The second pizza had shrimp and crab meat without red sauce. I called and she was very argumentative about my order. I have never seen her there in the past few months and she said she was the manager. She would not admit it was her error not mine. I am totally frustrated from this incident. She never apologized and stood her ground that I ordered the wrong thing. We were there 2 weeks ago and I ordered cauliflower pizza with shrimp without any problems. She kept making excuses for the mishap.Her attitude has made us rethink patronizing Timothy's in the future. read more

Where do I begin I've been to country clubs, restaurants and many catered affairs but I have to say this restaurant stands alone and above any of those standards. Let's start with Kerensa This amazing woman who I've spoke with for many months since I scheduled my daughters baby shower. Recently moved to the area and really wanted to try this spot out. Finally went tonight with my husband. We went hungry and wanted dinner and drinks. We got there and it wasn't crazy busy, but steady. Sat at the bar which was filthy. I had to ask to have the area where we sat cleaned off. The bartender handed us dirty menus on the dirty countertop and didn't even hesitate to walk away. So I asked for a rag to clean it myself and at that point she did. We waited for over 10 minutes to order a drink. One bartender for the entire space, which is poor on managements end. Finally got a drink and my husband got a drink smaller than what he ordered (he ordered a 22oz beer and was given a 16) after waiting all that time. She hands us the drinks and walks away. Again, not asking if we're ready to order. We waited another 10 minutes without being approached again and decided to close out and leave. I noticed one of the cooks in the kitchen who was reading off the screen was eating. Not knocking him, we were hungry too and wanted to eat, what I have an issue with was the man had his fingers in his mouth while eating and at the same time, touching the screen and handling food. Completely appalled at how this place was, especially considering the location, the menu items.. so much room for potential if it was just run right. The man in the kitchen was short in stature and had glasses on, and a bandana. Food ordered take out via doordash. Each time the prime rib delivered got worst and worst. Fatty, chunks of meat not thinly sliced. Never complained until now, spoke to a female manager and she argued with me saying she ate the prime rib earlier in the day and it was fine. She couldn't refund or give me a credit or gift card. Young people nowadays do not know how to treat a customer. When I worked in the food industry I would never argue with someone who had a complaint, I would make it better to make sure they came back. We came in with a lacrosse team- party of 40- and TIFFANY was ON IT! Her service was absolutely amazing and she knew how to handle the large group of players and parents, pairing us up with jersey # and splitting the checks. The jury Is still out on this place. I have visited twice. The first time it was excellent, the second time very not so excellent. It's a very large place with a lot of TV screens to watch all kinds of sports and I like that. I went in the first time for dinner and I got the boneless wings with garlic Parmesan and the crab soup. The boneless wings were super tender. The breading was perfect and they were very good. And the crab soup had a lot of taste in it. And it had good pieces of crab. I really enjoyed it. The second time I went in for lunch and it was very bad. Well, not bad, just not very good. I got a standard burger. And coleslaw. I always believe coleslaw is good measure of a restaurant. It's the little things if they take care of, then you know it's a good place. The coleslaw was soupy and very very bland. A lot of places hide the burgers with Condiments and cheese and this and that. I like to taste the meat. I did get cheeseburger with onions and Pickles and tomatoes. I asked for it on toast. And it came on toast. That wasn't really toasted very well. But that's OK. I tried to taste the meat in the burger, but it was very bland. There was no salt or pepper in it and it just did not have much taste at all. Maybe the chef is different. They did offer three different kinds of meat. I wasn't asked which kind I wanted in my burger. It was perfectly cooked the way I wanted it, but the taste was just bland and the coleslaw was very, very disappointing. The onion rings were standard for any sports bar. The waitress service on both occasions was excellent and very friendly. When I was there for dinner, there was a lot of people when I went for lunch. There were not too many people there. So I think I will go again and try it again. There are a lot of tables and a lot of options For watching different sports and activities on the screens. I would recommend this place and I will go back again to give it another try. I won't get a burger though. It was a generic burger that I can get anywhere and not very tasty and pretty pricey too . First, for place which is supposed to be a sports bar and has numerous tvs at least 80% of the tvs need to be replaced. They're in very poor shape I came in on a Friday night and asked if one of the sets could be switched to the NHL channel. There was nothing else anyone wanted to watch. No Phillies or Flyers. And the manager SUPPORTED this bullshit even when the bartenders were trying to accommodate Eagles fans!??! I hear the manager is not very well liked or respected by the staff either. I know, I know, it's PRESEASON for Heaven's sake. But we're in Birds country people! What's next, we have on the friggen Crybaby and Belecheat, or the Cowgirls? What a joke. Then to further alienate the Birds fans this supposed manager decides to have trivia night going on during the Birds game!! Again, what a joke!! When the neighborhood gets a new neighbor, you visit them. That is what my friend and I did. We decided to visit Timothy and we sat bar side to enjoy some adult beverages. When we sat down there were 2 bartenders working for about 20 guest. You would think that is a favorable ratio. Nope! Most of to time our pint were empty. There is nothing worst that having an uninterested bartender. If that wasn't bad enough. When they finally grabbed our empty pints to refill. Our cold beers we left under the taps as the bartender turned his attention elsewhere. This practice was done several frustrating times. Ok, when you have a few drinks. You tend to get a bit hungry. We ordered the crabby fries and the buffalo wings. A safe bet we thought. We were distracted talking over some adult beverages. But we noticed our food did not arrived. When the bartender finally arrived with our order. The crabby fries were soggy and cold. If that wasn't bad enough. Our fries appeared to have an entire jar of old bay seasoning dumped on top. Yuck!!! The wings were also somewhat cold. Not as hot as you expect it to be coming out of a frier. Just as the bartenders failed to realize our glasses were empty. They also failed to realize our order was up. This is definitely not the service I expect from a newly opened restaurant. It is safe to say that I will not be patronizing Timothy again. read more

Going into the restaurant, the quality of the food is MUCH better than delivery. We ordered delivery tonight from them for the first time. My wings were the most expensive out of our entire order, and they were extremely disappointing. Dry, overcooked, yet still cold. Almost choked on them they were so dry. It seemed as though they had been re-heated in the microwave. For $14 wings, you gotta do better than that. My family's meals were also sub par with soggy, cold fries. We probably won't be ordering take out or delivery from them again. I'll go into the restaurant because the food is much better, but they need to get on the ball with delivery.
