    BLACK TRYING TO SUPPORT BLACK-OWNED! I'm being generous with stars because of other staff, but really the manager was a jerk. Overcharged me on mounting and balancing. When I discovered my balance was off I went back to get it right & he told me, "The Computer Ain't Wrong" and said if he had to re-balance he was going to charge me again. Needless to say I took it to Walmart (should've went here first) and they were really nice checked and corrected"For Free"

    WORST PLACE TO GO $30 Just to patch a tire!? And the employees got mad at me because I only had $28 and started telling me it was "bullshit". This is my first and last time stepping a foot in this place.

    The warranty and proof

    Got two used tires and I've been coming here for awhile when needed. One of the used tires was leaking air the same day of purchase. Came a few days later to get it repaired and was charged $30 to fix the flat. The employee said since it wasn't a blowout he can't repair for free even though the warranty states otherwise. It is Sunday June 25th at 1:55 pm. Never seen this older man work here before but I feel scammed paying $30 for a flat fix. And to top it off he lied about what tire was fixed/patched. Suspicious! Given my warranty was for front left and back right. He put left rear for patch when in fact it was the front right. Apparently my car is also a Mazda when it's actually a white Ford Fusion. NEVER coming here again and advise no one else does. Definitely and probably not the first time this has been done. Lost my business along plenty more over $30.

    Rim paint scratched off

    My friend recommended me to go here after he got a screw out of his tire. He forgot to mention that they will scratch your rims in the process. I'll be recommending the rest of my friends to go elsewhere from now on.

    These people just RUINED my rim/wheel. It was spotless before now look at it!! I'm so upset I'm not even sure how to rectify this?? Definitely not worth my $15 Oh yeah I forgot they also grossly OVER-inflated my tire after "fixing" it--and not even with a commonly used measure: my 35-psi tire with the ruined rims is now sitting at 42-psi....seriously?!?!

    These guys are so nice and so fast. Had a nail in my tire they got me out of there in 20 minutes for $20. So awesome

    I'm guessing it's U-Haul policy (or maybe just this location's) that when both parties make a…read moremistake, to take advantage of their customers as much as they can. U-Haul likely made a mistake on marking their fuel gauge and I, two hours behind schedule, signed off on it. Items were loaded on-site from a pod and driven ten miles, half-filling a 15' box truck. A singular tool chest was then driven six miles one way and six miles back to the depot. A total of 22 miles. I had estimated based on load and distance to refill around 2 gallons of fuel and returned it slightly past closing. Checked the receipt the next day and was billed an additional 5 gallons of fuel (~$25) claiming it didn't match what was signed off. That's ~7 gallons of fuel for 22 miles. It doesn't take much brain power to realize that a half-filled 15' box truck does not drive THREE MILES TO THE GALLON. The only figure I can think of that gets anywhere near this number is a Bugatti going at over 250 mi/hr. If whoever I spoke to the on the phone was willing to work with me and ended up billing me for an additional gallon or two, I would find that an acceptable resolution. The fact that a representative was unwilling to relent on the impossibility of a box truck getting 3 MPG speaks a lot about their customer service skills or lack thereof.

Ferrell Gas took weeks to make a delivery and fill the propane tank at this residence, on Jan 5. However, driver only filled 40% of the tank. Now, in the midst of the ice storm, our propane tank has gone empty and Ferrell Gas was scheduled to "fill again" by Feb. 15. Here is the real poor service issue. We've called the Doss Road phone multiple times today and discussed our situation. No one calls us back. We now learn, that, as of Wednesday afternoon, Ferrell Gas may be able to send a truck on Sat/Sunday! Alex Ronnebaum is the manager there. Despite requests, we are not allowed to speak to anyone in management! Icing on the cake: I looked up the Ferrell Gas Corporate Headquarters in Liberty, Missouri. No way to speak to the CEO, Jim Ferrell. Only Voicemails. Why is our plight serious? This house has propane tank licensed to Ferrell Gas. Only they can fill it, per Texas Law. Meanwhile we have a 72 year-old grandmother in a house with the temps falling below 55 degrees. No one at Ferrell Gas cares! They will let her shiver for five or more days. We are ready to call the Austin Statesman American, KXAN, Spectrum News to share our experience with Ferrell Gas.

The emergency dispatch couldn't come yesterday and they have said they were on their way the three times I have call today. Its 3:40 pm and still no gas while it's snowing in Austin. I have no heat, no water heater or gas to cook. Their 24 hour access guaranteed is a joke!

I really have to give a huge shout out to the guys at U-Haul Moving & Storage at Slaughter Lane in Austin!!! They installed a hitch on our Ford Explorer. The appointment was supposed to be a drop-off and pick up later, but they immediately started working on it so we would not have to Uber home and Uber back to pick it up! That was greatly appreciated! But WAIT! That's not all! More accolades are in order! We had a bit of a fiasco with the rental of a moving trailer. I had reserved a 5X8 enclosed trailer via the Internet after having first chatted with a gentleman on the U-Haul site who assured me that this size trailer would work for a one bedroom apartment. NOT SO!! A queen size mattress doesn't even fit unless it is tilted. After my daughter picked up the trailer and got it to the house, they were able to determine that this size trailer WAS NOT going to big enough. In the meantime, the U-Haul where the trailer had been picked up at was closed. We called customer service who transferred us to Victoria. She informed us that the trailer could be dropped off at another location (we chose the Slaughter Lane location because they had done the hitch install for us.) but that we would still be charged the total for the trailer rental from Austin to Colorado Springs because we did not drop it off at the original drop-off location per the contract. I was told that we would need to file a dispute with U-Haul in order for an investigation to be conducted to determine if a refund was warranted! She said she was unable to help us with exchanging the trailers. I ended up having to create an entirely new reservation and had to go to a different location because the Slaughter location did not have the the 6X12 which was the next size up. This size worked perfectly. On our way out of town with the trailer, we wanted to make sure we (2 ladies) had hooked everything up properly, so we pulled into U-Haul Moving & Storage at Slaughter to have them do a quick inspection. A real nice gentleman (whose name I failed to get!) came up to us immediately and checked everything out for us. While he did the inspection, I went inside because I had never received an email receipt supporting that we had returned the trailer that was too small. I explained our fiasco to Redarion Harris and David Harris. They jumped into action and had the whole issue resolved in less than 10 minutes!! They did exactly what should have been done in the first place! They were very understanding, helpful and true professionals! Thanks guys.....you helped make the beginning of our road trip start on a good note!

    Never using U-Haul again. It's so crazy how after u get done…read moreusing the equipment you end up doing more work than the actual workers. I went during my appointment time to pick up my truck and didn't get it until 15 min after my time started. I had to ask about the details considering the gentleman there never explained , I had to ask! If you're here for your first time, the minimum is 100 miles and you'll be charged 100$ as a "down payment " . I drove 30 miles and ended up paying 65$ (with a cargo van)..... needless to say NEVER using ts again‍ 0/10 for communication 0/10 for fast service and 0/10 for having no organization. The guy was dropping the keys as he was looking for my rental and even with his fanny pack everything was jumbled. I'm leaving this review here as proof of my unorganized and unsatisfactory experience because in 2026 ts should NOT be like this. Upgrade your computers too, like why did I have to scan my ID and put in my info TWICE. "Yeah sometimes our systems don't take the first time" like SO WHERE DID MY INFO GO?? Why does it say my name and my reservation time when you're in my face telling me you can't find my reservation...... at least turn the computer.... Also, this company is ANTI-UNION. Having a display in your workers area (break room area) as an expressive Anti-union is actually pretty funny. U-Haul, please for the love of god do better :)
