I would say the drinks are really nice here - they have a large variety of absinthe and comes with a very cool water drip vessel. I expected the Tomatini to be similar to a Bloody Mary, but it was surprisingly light, slightly sweet, and the basil gave it more of a fresh caprese-inspired flavor. It was unique and delicious. The staff noticed our initial table wasn't ideal for an anniversary celebration and graciously moved us to a much more intimate booth. While we waited for our food, they surprised us with complimentary bacon-wrapped dates and two glasses of bubbly to celebrate. Those thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely special. Thursday specials were another fun surprise. The $10 martinis were fantastic, and I loved the "Girl Dinner" special--a Caesar salad and fries. Cute, simple, and delicious. My $10 Cosmopolitan was excellent. For dinner, we shared the prawns, chili chicken, and lamb lollipops. I ended up getting the espresso martini, and then my other person got an old-fashioned. I was asked if I wanted a shot of Bailey's with the espresso martini and that to me would've been way too much. The martini itself was almost kind of smoky. Not your typical kind of very crisp espresso martini had a nice foam on top of it. We also ended up ordering the sliders to go along as we had dinner reservations, and that bacon jam on there is magnificent. The sliders were all juicy and very well put together bun was very soft and the flavor of everything was really good. I would totally go back just for the sliders. Overall the service was great. The views were also quite stunning of downtown and the ambience overall which is very chill. The front part of the bar was actually closed due to a private event so I can imagine getting to take photos on that corner would be really pretty to see.

The view at Nido is breathtaking, the lay out is nice and the seating is comfortable, even with children. The apps and drinks are 10/10. The mains are where we encountered problems. I ordered a petite filet and I have attached the picture below. They served me a New York strip ( obviously) and tried to pass it off as a filet. I have never had a filet come cut like this and you can tell by the meat this was a strip not a fillet. They said all of their filets come pre sliced like this. So that must mean they are passing off New York strips as a filet. Which is not only unethical but so disappointing. Don't have a filet on the menu if you're going to do this. Most people probably can't tell the difference but we could, easily. Managers were nice, but would not own that this was not the right cut of meat and insisted it was in fact a filet. Yall be the judge by the photo below. The "mushrooms" on the plate were also charred to an unrecognizable point. The only other steak we ordered at medium well was served medium rare. We also ordered biscuits that never came but we were not charged for them. I will say they did comp my steak and my husbands and gave me some dessert on the house, which we sincerely appreciated. Don't come here for dinner. Drinks and apps for the view and that's it!
