BEWARE. The "bottle service girls" will try to milk you for extra $$$ saying the service charge on your TABLE bill only goes to the bar. They will stand and literally watch like hawks as you sign the bill. Also, there is an unmentioned credit card processing fee. read more

I am not a club person but Pop is more of a bar with loud club music. I can dig it. Lol My friends took me to Pop on a Sunday afternoon and I could not believe how lit this place was. The DJ was doing a great job keeping the party live. The bartenders were cool and made some really strong drinks. They have an outdoor patio area with a second bar. Wow you guys... worst bar EVER. So on NYE I bought the cover online just to be ahead. Online the cover was $25 and in person it was $20 (I found this out afterwards). Still, I was like "okay no big deal." So on my ticket it said until 3am, so I thought okay more dancing cool. I didn't think they would serve alcohol or anything which was fine. So it comes to 2am and they start kicking people out. I asked someone by the dj why the hours said till 3am on my ticket. The guy happens to be the DISTRICT MANAGER, he literally calls me out on the DJ mic and says "this girl really thinks the bar closes at 3!" ... wow, the disrespect. They he looks at my ticket and says "f you're right" yet he still ignores me. This bar is obviously ran by disrespectful drunk people. Will never go again! I guess the people there are too busy having their own fun than taking care of their customers. read more

This is a new joint on W. 6th street. It has a very "loungey" feel (is that a word?). At first glance it is very aesthetically pleasing. Loud colors on dark backgrounds, fluorescent lights and a feel that this would be a great place to finish a drunken night on dirty 6th. Anyway.....I digress.... I was impressed at the staff from the moment I walked in. They were friendly and greeted us nicely. They seemed to have good drink specials, although we were there for a group event. Came here early in the day (around noon) and Pat the bartender makes this place! Not sure how it is when it's crowded at night time, but he played music for us and took part in some fun conversation. He made us feel so welcome and was just so nice! This guy deserves a raise. Also the security guard was hilarious and a big ole sweetheart! We enjoyed rose and had a great afternoon here. Our bachelorette dare card was to "take a picture with the bartender" and Pat obliged...what a swell guy! Thanks for a fun memory. read more
