Lotta ball fetch professional

When we got our puppy, she was very sick. Dr Lagana helped us nurse Lotta back to health, answering our late night questions and short notice visits. Now Lotta is a healthy strong dog and we bring her to Roosevelt Veterinary. So thankful Dr Lagana is there to help us with any health concern that may pop up. We have the sweetest healthiest dog thanks to Dr Lagana, glad she's close to us at Roosevelt Veterinary. Very convenient and exceptional care. 5 stars, recommend!

Full service Veterinarian Practice offering annual exams, spay/neuter services, vaccines, dental cleanings and more. Dr Glassman is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to all your pet needs. After lots of thought I decided to get my furry child's dental cleaning done. It was a same day procedure and super easy to book. You can even book online via the PetDesk app. He was a little tired and sore after his dental procedure but Dr Glassman made sure to send us home with some soft food and pain meds so he could be comfortable. It was such a quick recovery and he was feeling his best self in a few days. Highly recommend this practice!

Our baby girl was going into diabetic shock and got her to Roosevelt Veterinary ASAP. The staff and Dr. Glassman's quick action and care had her stable in no time! What a difference in care and follow up the next day in how she was doing is a bright star compared to the care we got from our previous vet at Noah's Ark too.

We were hoping to get our pup spayed before her second heat cycle and did not realize how difficult it would be to get an appointment. I called 30+ veterinarians and spay clinics from New Jersey to Maine trying to find an appointment. Everyone was booked out for months -- some into next year. I called Roosevelt Veterinary Center with low expectations and was delighted when I was told they had spay appointments available that same week. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews on Yelp but opted to move forward after realizing that most of the complaints seem to be about pricing transparency rather than quality of service. We could not be happier with the service we received. Because of previous reviews I was prepared to have to pay more than the $398 + $65 for bloodwork I was quoted on the phone (prices vary by animal's weight). The only additional cost was for an optional but recommended IV ($50). I also opted for the upgraded donut collar ($30), but -- to RVC's credit -- they refunded it after discovering that it didn't fit my dog properly. I did a lot of research and found RVC's pricing to be mid-range. Low-cost spay/neuter clinics charge anywhere from $150-$250 (less, in some cases, if you have a pitbull). Many vets I contacted charge anywhere from $850-1250. Most of the cheaper places had very long waiting lists; some were so long they wouldn't even add me to it. Considering the timing and the quality of the service against the price, I think RVC is a great value. The technicians were friendly, attentive, and communicative. The drop off/pick up process was seamless (in between 830-9a, out after 4p). I got a call after surgery (at around 130p) to let me know my pup was okay. The veterinarian came out to introduce herself at pick up, which I really appreciated after many hours of worrying. We were given everything we needed for post-op (4 doses of painkillers included in the base price) and booked an appointment to have stitches out 10 days later. When I noticed some bruising near the incision site a few days post-op, I called and got a response from the veterinarian within 15 minutes. The suture removal was extremely quick. We were late for the appointment and the technician apologized to US for the very slight wait to be seen. So sweet and unnecessary! Several days after suture removal our dog's incision is healing perfectly. Overall, I could not be happier with this experience. Not only did I get an appointment at very short notice; I felt like my dog was well cared for at every step of the way. RVC is 75 minutes from our house but we are thinking about using it as our primary vet because we felt so well taken care of.

After surgery the team continued to update me with photos and texts

My puppy was critically ill. Drs Glassman and Lagana saved his life. The care, compassion and skill were unmatched by any other! Because of them my sweet boy is alive. I might also mention that the entire staff was excellent. Not only the care of my puppy but the care of me as well.

Entrance. So cute how they put our babies names on their welcome sign!

The only place I trust to care for my precious fur baby. The receptionists are friendly, and the veterinarians are great. I don't feel nervous for my fur baby when I come here, and I know it won't cost me an arm and a leg either. I absolutely love this new location and the new hours! I no longer have to take off work to bring my cat in, which is very helpful. Walking in I immediately feel welcomed- they keep a board with the pet patients names on it, how cute! Beautiful photography of pets line the office. Coffee is available as well as some purchases for your pets. Waiting area is small so don't bring the whole family for your fur baby's check up. At the end of my first visit, they gave me a thoughtful kitty goody bag for me and my cat. Can always use a free scooper! They followed up with me via email and mail for my cat's next suggested appointment, and you can get discounts here for shots from time to time. Sometimes, they have a savings offer for first time check ups, so bringing your pet here is a smart, reasonable and safe choice. My cat Natalie and I have been here twice so far, and Natalie hasn't shown any concern or felt uncomfortable either time. She's not just a good cat, the veterinarians know how to handle their animals here!

I'm Rosie and I go to school here. I it!

The neighbor suggested Brewster Vet. It was nearly 4PM and I called their office in a panic. The receptionist walked me through how to pick up my cat without causing further injury and in the fifteen minutes it took to get to the office, they were waiting for me with the room prepped. The kitty nurse, the veterinarian, the administrative staff...everyone was instrumental in saving the cat's life. They took her in, didn't ask for a crazy deposit, and immediately tended her injuries. Well, her jaw was broken in a few places. I won't bore you with the details, but over the next six weeks, they let me visit her with my son while she recovered, and taught me how to care for her so she could spend more time at home. We had many hiccups, and at one point, I thought it was time to euthanize her. Dr. Wilson wanted to try one more thing, and with his encouragement, we did it, and two months after her injury her feeding tube was removed. I know the staff and vet could have charged a LOT more, and they were so patient and caring. My cat went from a totally aloof little critter to the ultimate snuggle bunny after this. The attention given to her at the vet's office while she was hurt and scared made her better than ever.

Her wisdom and forethought went above and beyond my expectations, and believe me, I had rehearsed this terrible day many times in my head. My call was promptly returned, a convenient time scheduled, and the process discussed. During this time of social distancing, some special accommodations needed to be made, but they in no way interfered with the love my dog received that day. Dr Dale played music made for dogs ears only and was extremely comforting to me as well. She made a clay print of my dogs paw, which I will cherish forever. The support Dr Dale gave that day extends far beyond as she checked in on me and provided access to support groups. When I picked up my dogs remains, they where surrounded by meditation gardens and considering the circumstances (pandemic restrictions) I couldn't have asked for anything more comforting and reassuring that my dog was truly loved and that I had made the right decision. (We tried a new vet local to us since moving, but decided to go back to the one we trusted, an hour away). Both vets prescribed prednisone drops among trying other things. Our regular vet suggested it was time for a specialist. I'd called several places and no one had an available appointment for months. Some had an office visit charge of $400+ and insisted on doing bloodwork although he already had recent bloodwork done. Finally I called Newtown and got him an appt for the same week, and it was under $300 for the exam. The opthamologist we saw that day is no longer there, but our experience was a positive one. I found out his eye issue was a herpes infection that was not resolving due to the prednisone. Something completely missed by the regular vets. She also recommended entropion surgery for his eyelid that was turned in (later discovering his eyelash had fused to his eye). Fast forward to last week... I brought him back to the vet because of changes in the appearance of his eye. He had a "corneal sequestrum" which is dead scar tissue from trauma. We were monitoring it to make sure it didnt become an issue. Back to the opthomologist in Newtown - this time we saw Dr Crabtree. The cost of the visit was only $202, billed as a followup from last year. I feared surgery, but she told me his eye was attempting to heal itself by pushing out the dead tissue, which was a good thing. Surgery would be $4000, but she is confident he wont need it. She prescribed antibiotics drops but didnt make me buy them there, since I had some at home already. The plan is to recheck him in a few weeks, and remove any loose tissue at that time. Such a relief to hear good news. My worry woth specialists is that they want to do expensive procedures and testing, but this was not the case here. Contrary to another review I read, my cat was treated with care by all staff we encountered.

I called ahead to ask about female hamsters, and they said they couldn't guarantee the gender--which was fine. While talking to the employee about my past experience with wet tail at Petco, she reassured me that all their hamsters were healthy and that there was no chance of any issues. But right as she said that, she went to show me another hamster... and it was dead. She tried to cover it with bedding and quietly put the tank back like nothing happened, but I had already seen and was honestly a little visibly shaken, so she put it aside. She kept showing me the rest like it was normal. I ended up taking one home anyway--her name's Beyoncé and I love her, but it honestly felt more like a rescue than a normal adoption... There weren't many care supply options, and when I mentioned I was waiting for some Niteangel supplies in the mail and needed some stuff to hold her over for the next couple nights, they told me the products in store were so bad I'd be better off without them... which told me enough I don't blame the young girls working, they seemed sweet enough and a pet store isn't ideal for any animal. But definitely would describe the vibe and the whole experience as... strange.

I came to Greenwich Veterinary Center on a recommendation. Since I had no history for my new partner in crime, I took advantage of their introductory offer for a "free" first appointment, sort of lets meet. The front staff was welcoming. The wait was reasonable. The tech came in brought us into an exam room we informed her we needed to get a baseline on health and vaccinations Karina asked the all important probing questions. Then the vet came in and she took time to perform the 120 point new vehicle check. Once she was done with the initial check up she went over a game plan. As it turned out my dog was mostly caught up with all his vaccinations. My big concern was flea, tick, and heartworm since I did not have any preventive meds and needed to get. At no point did I feel pressured to do anything additional everything was clearly explained. My only issue which mirrors other comments is the costs. Final thought, the facility was very clean and well lit, always a good sign!
