They are quick, and friendly, seem knowledgeable, and the place is clean and efficient. However, the bill for the service on my 2018 Nissan Pathfinder was almost identical to taking it to the dealer. Maybe this was because they used dealer parts and their shop time clocks out at the same rate, but you go to one of these places to save money vs. the dealer, and I can't honestly say as they did. $1200 for an oil change, transmission flush, and new spark plugs isn't encouraging me to go back there soon. I received a coupon for discounted Inspection. I went in 40 minutes before they closed. They did an inspection but told me i had a light out and would have to come back. I also needed to do minor work on my truck and asked if they could check it out. 3 Mechanics just not working and said they didn't have time. ? That was OK, but If i ran the company, and they didn't have anything to do I think I would have had someone check it out. The Worst Part. I had to come back after replacing a light bulb in my backup light. They said they would have to charge me, which was OK. As they were checking out the light was going off and on. and I remembered I dropped a screw when putting it in, and I told them if they could give me a screwdriver, it would take less than a min to fix. Made me take the truck out of the garage, go in the driveway and borrowed a screwdriver from the Manager, which he made this seem like a huge deal. I have been GM of car dealerships in the past and understand customer service.This place has none. A mechanic could have spent 1 min and fixed the problem because I knew what it was. Again 3 mechanics not working one car in shop Then the manager told me the long story about lending tools. They drove my truck all the way back in the bushes, making it hard for me to fix. Now they were going to charge me again for a re-inspection. In an informative way, not mad, I told the Manager that this was terrible customer service. He told me to take my truck somewhere else. Nice guys, but they messed up over and over again on my vehicle. They installed the wrong gaskets and seals (needed to be motorcraft but was aftermarket parts), did not properly adhere gaskets and seals by Ford's specs which caused everything to leak. I originally came to this place for a mystery anti-freeze leak. They recommended I replace a few hoses, cost me $$$$, then a few days later it leaked again. Brought it back and they recommended more hoses, gaskets, seals, and a flush. A few days after the vehicle was returned again, and it leaked again. By the FOURTH TIME of returning the vehicle (over 4 weeks of time and THOUSANDS of dollars) I decided a 2nd opinion was needed by a dealership. The Ford dealer found that Rooster Ridge had improperly installed 2 different major components. When I brought this to their attention they asked me to bring it to them and have their warranty cover the full cost. Why would I give a MASTER FORD MECHANIC a 5th time to do the job right?!? Bottom line, they cannot be trusted because I was told the 30+ yr Master Mechanic was doing the job since my 2nd visit. I called to speak with the owner, but he had zero interest in speaking with me and I never heard from him. I asked for refund of some sort and was denied because I did not use my warranty, despite me asking and challenging their installations during the 4 weeks maintenance. read more

They deserve a zero rating. Condensed version: truck wouldn't start. Would crank but that's all. Towed to mechanic; they couldn't get it to run. Asked if timing belt had been changed. Yes it had. Will go that route. Calls later to say belt is messed up and this is not a new belt. Took car to dealer and only said it wont run. They report that belt has not been replaced, same with water pump and there were bolts missing. Thankfully, no internal damage. Basically, I paid for nothing at Drivers, aka Rooster Ridge. And they tried to convince me I needed more work done. A bunch of crooks....avoid !! read more

Not going back. Had 2 front end alignments done. As soon as I picked up the vehicle from the first front-end alignment I ended up having to drive back to the shop so they can align the steering wheel to match adjustments they made to the front end. I return a month later with a different vehicle for a front end alignment to chase down a vibration issue that the dealership suspected was from an improper front-end alignment. When I brought it in, they couldn't do the alignment at the 242 shop, where I made the appointment, so they sent me to the woodlands' shop. Once complete, the alignment paperwork that Rooster Ridge gave me had the wrong vehicle information at the top of it. I explained to the assistant manager that I needed to have the paperwork reflect the correct vehicle so that I can prove to the dealership a front-end alignment was done. The assistant manager said they could not change the paperwork. They also attempted to charge me $199 for the front alignment, but changed that to $139 once I called them out that I had just paid $139 the month before. Come on fellas. Work lacked any attention to detail and customer service was poor. Zero stars if I could assign them. read more

I had previously visitied this shop to get a diagnostics on my vehicle, its'a 2007 Toyota Camry and my AC wasn't working. They ran a diagnostic and recommended it needed a "Evacuate & Recharge" for $359 which I thought to be a bit high but seeing as how my AC wasn't working at all I caved in days later and took my vehicle to them. Now prior to I had went to an independent mechanic that recommended the AC likely needed a compressor after I had left his shop but he wasn't going to be available for another week so unfortunately I couldn't wait that long. I took my vehicle to Rooster Ridge for repair and after running their diagnostics and "fixing my AC issue" they discovered the Vehicle needed a new AC Compressor. Why they did not mention that to me BEFORE working on the VEHICLE is absolutely absurd but I'm sure extremely convenient and beneficial to them. Bad Practice and would not recommend. Times are way too hard for any type of business malpractice and I would not recommend them or use them again. They should have informed me of the "Bad Compressor" before charging me $420 to "fix" what I would have to REPLACE AC doesn't work, I do not believe anything was actually done and I will be disputing the transaction with my bank read more

If it was possible to put zero points, then I would put -1. Changing the oil, tires and battery took them from 9 am to 5 pm, although they promised an hour and a half. I got a call and was told that replacing the battery is a necessity and the cheapest possible option is $ 380. Only they did not specify that this is the cheapest option from them. The cost of this particular battery in other stores and car services ranges from $ 140 to $ 240. From them the same "generous" offer is $ 380 + $ 30 for installation. When I received the invoice, I checked the prices, I asked the manager why there was such a big difference in price, he just smiled and said that I could go to competitors and find a place cheaper. Horrible experience. Had a simple repair done on my vehicle. They completed half of it and said they had to order a part before they could finish and would get me in the following week. I was assured my the GM that my car was good to drive, as I was going out of town for the weekend. This conversation took place via text and in black and white between the GM and I. The following night I was driving when my van shut off and died while on I45 with my children in tow. My vehicle instantly smelled of gasoline. I was left stranded on the shoulder while waiting for a tow truck (that I paid for) with five small children. VERY UNSAFE! The next day (Sunday) I finally heard back from the GM and his response was that he did not appreciate me contacting him on the weekend while he was spending time with his family. Absolutely terrible customer service. There were no apologies and nothing was done to rectify the situation. My vehicle has is a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and has never had any previous issues. The only reason I needed the repair was to get the check engine light off for state inspection. Very unhappy with this place and will be making sure everyone I talk to knows to NEVER go here! read more
