The chicken salad hasn't been mentioned in the reviews I read, so I will describe it as fresh, tasty and the carrot sticks, egg, ripe tomato (tasted like a home grown July 'mator) even the celery was good. I really enjoy Roosters, but everyone is right about how small the wings are. The service is just Ok, The bartenders are not friendly unless they know you. the older lady behind the bar might be the owner or something but just has no personality. The food is typical bar food, wings, burgers, fried this and that. Not many fresh items listed. But the wings might be tiny, but have lots of flavor. I always get the hot with a side of the (FYB sauce). The Blue cheese is the best ever. I usually have to order the large size since the paper cups normally are not enough. Only real problem I have here is that TO GO food is charged extra fees. I guess since they dont get to serve you inside they tack on extra to cover the cost of to go boxes. I have worked and go to multiple restaurants weekly and Roosters is the only that has ever charged me for that. Greasy floor, be careful going to the bathroom. read more

My bad experience is partly my own fault, as I decided to order the all you can eat spaghetti at a place that seems to specialize in wings. The spaghetti was horrible, it was noodles and meat sauce in a liquid bath. The others in my party ordered sandwiches and weren't thrilled with them. An hour to get the food, and service was sparse. I'm sure if the table all ordered wings the experience would have improved, as all the reviews indicate good wings. Just No! ... I really don't understand the 5 star reviews ... they must all be from friends, relatives, and coworkers. We got three flavors of wings (med, ragin cajun, and roosters red or something like that? - it was supposed to be their hottest)... none of which were anything to write home about (definitely not the heat two of us were hoping for). I can say that the service was fast and served with a smile so no complaints there (in fact it's the only reason I even have 2 stars); however, the ambiance and overall cleanliness was awful! At one point in time they decided to remove old vinyl flooring and seemingly just left the old glue behind ... I'm assuming to finish out that creepy hole-in-the-wall vibe (btw I'm not against hole-in-the-wall spots, but only when they're clean and the food is good). It's dark and the booth cushions need a lot of new padding. To top it all off they only have one craft beer on tap. I don't like to leave reviews like this, but sorry you should go five minutes down the road and spend your money elsewhere. read more

I buy my granddaughter wings from here all the time and I got a steak sandwich one time, that I wasn't too impressed with but this weekend I bought her wings and I got the Rooster burger. Been going there for years for best wings Atlanta area---until recently. Last two visits the wings were hard and dry. Last visit I returned eight out of ten wings as inedible and was not offered a refund or any comment other than they had a new cook. Well the new cook isn't my problem. We won't be returning. My husband is from Cumming and he used to always eat here for the "all you can eat wings" when he lived here. He has told me about this place for more than 3 years and today was finally the first day I went here!!! He ordered the medium, extra crispy wings and let me tell you....they are the BEST wings I've ever had! Wow! I'm a huge wing fan and have tried so many different places but this one tops them all! I wish we lived here or I wish this place was in Dallas, Texas! The wings are small, so I had to order more than I usually eat. The fried pickles are delicious too! Best Wings In Town!!! Rooster's has surpassed Taco Mac, Three Dollar and Buffalo's as the best wings in Atlanta. Hands down. And you will be hard-pressed to find a tougher wing critic in this town than me. The rest of the menu is great, too. And it's a great place to hang out -- "Cheers" for the Forsyth and North Fulton areas with a tremendously loyal local following. That's because Mike Parker and Kenny Westbrook are first class people who run a first class restaurant. Hit or miss. Love the blue cheese dip for the wings more than the actual wings. The wings are on kinda pricy for what you get and more often than not, overcooked and dry. The burgers and fried items are great some visits and other times, they are so greasy that they are in edible. The cheesecake ( of all things) is outstanding. Delicious wings and the best blue cheese dressing, ever. When I get hot wings at other places, I always sub ranch for the blue cheese. Roosters makes their own blue cheese from what I've heard, and it has big chunks of blue cheese and poppy seeds mixed in. I'm also a fan of the onion rings, fried long enough so they aren't soggy, but crispy and brown. Wednesdays are all you can eat wings, which my brother and his friends are big fans of. Killians on tap is $2, not sure if that is a special price of the every day price, but that is what was on my tab. Roosters is my favorite restaurant of all time I have lived in Forsyth Co. My entire life so I have always been a regular. All the staff know me when I come in the door probably cause I eat there three times a week!
