I ordered some to go about 20 minutes ago and they charged me $2.50 to have pepper jack on my burger but lo and behold there is American cheese on my burger. hopefully the manager can get in touch with me and get me a refund of my five dollars that I spent for both burgers requesting pepper jack cheese. Had it before and it was ok, burger was pretty decent. Customer service was great. Came back for a to go order. Not so good, sautéed onions on the burger were super bitter. Charged an extra .99 for it but had to take it off. Ordered the zucchini fries for $8( don't do it) and small basket. Definitely not worth the amount you get. Ordered bacon cheeseburger with tots and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was the absolute smallest burger I've ever had from a restaurant. Looked like something McDonald's would offer in a kid meal. Taste was fine but for a smash burger place it left much to be desired. The shake was only average for its high price $6.99. Tots were an extra $3.95 but they were tasty. Here's the kicker though...they didn't have any ketchup! What burger place runs out of ketchup? One not managed very well I'd say. I'm sad to have to update my original rating. This business has taken a nose dive! We were there the day they opened and have been there almost once a week since but the last month or so has been awful. Nothing is the same! Burgers are smaller, sauce on the Vickery burger is runny, buns are cold and much larger than the meat. The one I had today wasn't smashed at all and was almost raw inside. The tea was so watered down it was tasteless. It's just so disappointing how much this place has deteriorated. We hope you can go back to the days the burgers were good! read more

We stopped in to grab a burger on the way home on Sat afternoon. the place was not busy just one family and one guy besides me. I ordered my food it took them approx 25 min to just get the food out. however workers were kind and nice . when we opened the food it was ice cold the fried food tasted like funnel cake tater tots and sweet potato fries. not to mention they were cold. we just live in polo across the street so it was not a long drive. the food was very disappointing and the experience was not good. The number of stars is for the Oklahoma smash burger and the zucchini fries. I read the previous reviews on how great the smash burgers here was and I was in the mood for a good one so I thought I would give it a try It did not disappoint. It was grilled perfectly smashed with lots of grilled onions great flavor there's zucchini fries were well seasoned and fried to perfection. Cooking in the beef tallow really does make a difference. They were really good however, I am old school and do not care for a place that you order and pay from a computer kiosk. It asks you for a tip and I would be happy to give it if it went to the kiosk. You have to get your own utensils and the drink machine is behind the counter. You have to go up to the counter and ask for the refill. Very good burger but not my kinda place. read more

Let's start off by saying it was our first time here & unintentionally showed up here bc we were looking for real burgers, not smash burgers. We went in & there was only 1 other couple using the kiosk to order. We decided to order at the register being our first time,we had questions. So we order our food, and how come a burger of any kind does not come with lettuce & tomato seems odd, right? They charge you for the tomato. Our drinks were warm (fresh brewed tea but it was around 1240 at this point) and before I could even sit the ice already melted. Then we sit down and wait for our food. It took 35-40min for our food to arrive. Another couple who came in & sat the bar 20 min after we already ordered, got their food BEFORE US!!!!! SERIOUSLY!! I proceeded to walk to the counter to ask for a refund, then she comes out with our food a minute or two later after the other couple had theirs. I asked for a card for the manager as there was no one on site, she said she could give me her number, & so she did! The excuse that it took so long they were "waiting on fries" 2 orders of fries doesnt take 40 min. Food was subpar for the price, actually the chilly cheese fries tasted no better then any other fast food, and the fries tasted like McDonald's, so nothing to write home too. Think twice before making your selection, there are other great restaurants selections that taste better, better service and worth the price... oh & we didnt get our receipt either. Second time here. Arrived at 6:20 PM. Clearly the boss was not present. Tables were mostly dirty, I had to wipe mine down myself. Chairs in disarray. Napkin dispenser on our table... empty. We DID tell him and he brought us another dispenser. Kid manning the register was leaning on the register sometimes with his head down while the dining area was a mess. The floor had trash on it in multiple places. He finally started pushing some of the chairs back in . He looked like he hated his life. Ketchup dispenser was empty. Another patron was at the counter upset her that she had been waiting for 20 minutes on an order that was called in. Ah, he's filling up the ketchup!! But there were no forks so we had to ask. How bout the teenager selfie photo area? We watched numerous teens congregating by the mirrors to pose. Looks like this place is a popular hang out place for teens. Let's get to the food. First time we came it was great. Tonight it was fair. Based on our experience tonight, we will not be motivated to return. We feel badly having to say this. Tried for 1st time last night, Vickery burger was pretty good, fries were soggy, cheese curds were decent & the chicken tenders were better looking than the picture on the website. Wife said they were pretty tasty. Service was quick but they really weren't the friendliest, and they weren't busy at all, so that was a little weird. I think Culver's is better, especially for the $$$, but I wish them well. read more

We were so excited to have a new restaurant in Vickery Village. First all, this is a restaurant where you order your food at a station & pay. Then you wait. If you have any questions or don't know how to navigate a computer you'll have to be patient & wait for help. The burgers are exactly like advertised "smashed" so not very big. This was our first time trying Vickery Burger Bar. My wife and I are the complete opposites when it comes to agreeing on food. We were trying to find a REALLY good burger nearby. We both went with the plain double cheeseburger adding bacon to it. She had the tots and I had the onion rings. The rings were fresh. The burgers were HOT, delicious, and GREAT! We live in this neighborhood and support all small business that we can. We will no longer be supporting this one. I've gone to this burger bar twice since they've opened. The first time was good, busy, but good. The second time... I ordered online, accidentally forgot to add tater tots. I tried to find a phone number, none to be found. So I drive over, ask the young lady at the counter if I can add them to my order as I wasn't able to call after I ordered online. She wasn't sure how, so the (Maybe manager, maybe owner Mike) stepped in. After 60 seconds of figuring out how to do it. I asked him a simple question - do you have a phone number to call here? He said we have a phone number... I said ok, so not to call? He said no (with a grunt), that's why we have online ordering and walked away 11 minutes go by, yes ELEVEN and still no tater tots. They take 90 seconds to make in the fryer. Ok all good, it's a smidge busy but not really. Maybe 4-5 tables. I ask to chat with him, he comes out and gives me attitude when I asked about it taking so long. Then he said I was giving him attitude and rudely raised his voice. I did say - are you F'ing kidding me? He then responded while raising his voice for other customers to hear: "yeah get the F*c* out of here", got on his phone and walked away. The disrespect I received from this man was unnecessary as a manager or owner of the business, let alone a man. If you want terrible service from this "manager" then head on over to VBB. Positives first, nice new place, good burger. Unfortunately, the ranch dressing tasted like it was out of a bottle, make it scratch in house. The onion rings came out piping hot but obviously out of a bag. Again, easily fixable, hand cut and make in house. Lastly, The zucchini fries were not very good. All of this should be worked on, easily corrected. With that, the staff and owner couldn't have been any nicer. Wish them well. We will try again down the road. read more
