What a wonderful place to pick up some whole bean coffee! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We told them it was our first time in and they gave us the lowdown on some of the beans. They also gave us a recommendation on some beans that they had roasted earlier in the morning. It was a fantastic experience. They have coffee from all over the world including Jamaican Blue Mountain. The price is on point for what you get. You can get half pound or full pounds. They also have a fresh pot of rotating coffee that is 3 dollars a cup. Definitely worth checking out if you love coffee.

We thought this was a cafe and discovered it's not. It's a coffee and loose leaf tea merchant. They are exercising all of the COVID Protocols. They don't allow anyone in the store. They've put plexiglass at the front door and you order from there. They have a wide variety and it smells amazing. But I did find it a little pricey.

After visiting 3 years ago, I finally looked The Kaffeeklatch up and paid a long overdue visit. I could smell coffee bring roasted before I entered. The staff are friendly and quiet knowledgeable, as I recall from 3 years ago. We talked about my recent visit to southern Mexico where I tasted the best coffee I've ever had. I bought a pound of Mexican coffee, whole bean. Did I mention I'm a coffee geek? The staff suggested i try a different and rather exceptional smelling Mexican variety! "A half pound of that please" and I'm out the door! I had to get a picture of the vintage ( early 1900's I'm guessing coffee roaster!) They have a very diverse supply of coffee and tea brewing devices and accessories at reasonable prices! Since it was early, around 9am finding a nearby (free)parking place was not a problem! If you enjoy coffee this might be the place to "up" your entire coffee and/or tea game. I'm glad to have rediscovered The Kaffeeklatch. 5 Solid Stars

We are in town for a few weeks visiting for the first time. My coffee snob husband who makes his coffee every morning with nasa level precision says this coffee (the house blend) is "pretty f'ing good" and I rarely hear him say that about anything other than his davir. He does pour over and says the water should be 180F instead of his usual 190. Near to see them roasting the beans and the "flakes" coming out of the chimney. It's outside order only and they were only selling beans when we went there. Guessing these were covid situations.

The Kaffeeklatsch is located on the first floor of the 1925 Terry-Hutchens Building, listed on the NRHP in 1980.

I just completed my annual visit to my favorite coffee vendor to pick up a year's supply, and there's not much I can add to last year's review. The Kaffeeklatsch is still the home of heavenly aroma, friendly folks, great Kaffee...er...coffee and my family's special blend. I wonder if I could open a branch in Milwaukee?

Great coffee with many choices. Although I don't usually drink tea, they have a wide selection of teas to choose from.

I hadn't been to the Greenroom in quite a while, but was across the street and needed a bite and…read morecaffeine for the Friday afternoon. I walked in a little past 1pm, having studied the chalkboard outside with a delightful-sounding selection of spring specials. As I'm ordering, the barista and I alike see another group walk in. And another. And another-- I'm not seeing anyone else in the rather small physical establishment, and as a former barista am beginning to sweat a bit for this Greenroom employee and all of the orders he is about to have to deal with, seemingly by himself (cue the cheerful chime announcing more customers, and more customers). As I wait for my order, grateful to be the first in this long line, I sit to casually read a book and take my opportunity to observe my fellow patrons of this fine little spot. I hear the barista asking customers if they're okay with waiting, and he begins to ask customers if they're okay with waiting a minute for their orders. I'm content, as I have no urgent arrangements, and the now plastic-gloved barista comes up to me, informing me that they have no lime to garnish the avocado toast I've ordered and asking if that was okay. I assert as much and he returns to the line; I think to myself that he could have saved the time and not told me and I wouldn't have known the difference, but I'm pleased with his attention to detail. I get my to-go box of avocado toast with an egg and am pleased to open it and try a bite. I feel that it could have done with red pepper flakes (my favorite), but the everything bagel seasoning added a nice texture and the overall flavor profile was delightfully savory. As for my drink, which came later, it was the Good Riddance: a vanilla cold brew with lime pie cold foam (which lived up to the name tremendously). It also had what I believe to be graham cracker or pie crust crumbles on the top that were delightful! The drink was delicious and perfect for the spring weather. I sit upstairs as I always do, but specifically on the patio where I can see all of MidCity and the surrounding businesses. There's nonintrusive and enjoyable music presumably coming from the Camp itself? After an hour or so of enjoying my spoils, I return to the counter below to see if the barista is still there now that the rush is over. He is now accompanied by another coworker, blessedly, and I learn that his name is Caleb. We chat for a few moments and I introduce myself before leaving, but not before taking another picture of all the event calendars for the week and month. Now I'm positively fueled for my afternoon and grateful for the relaxed atmosphere. (Thanks for reading this far if you did, and shoutout again to Caleb for doing his job tremendously! He informed me that he enjoys a good rush of customers, and I replied that I would have cried to have been in the situation that he handled with great poise and dedication. The great service alongside the excellent product left me wanting to return quickly!)

I like the monkey bread - it's not too sweet, an excellent complement to their espresso. Their espresso tonic, which I had on my second visit while I was in town, is a delicious drink. Perfect coffee/tonic/syrup ratio. Adorable interior, perfect for a quiet convo or a book read, two things I saw happening when I dropped in. Super friendly baristas too. Excellent!!
