Grilled chicken fingers
Jenn K.

We went for lunch after doing some shopping . We were greeted by a very friendly host and seated immediately. Our server came by and informed us that we could scan the bar code for the drink menu. I ordered a Stella beer and my friend had the Strawberry Mash . (I wish I had ordered one as well it was that good !). We both ordered the grilled chicken fingers . We also ordered potato skins and fried mushrooms. The chicken fingers were HUGE and the serving was four of them. They were grilled to perfection and tender. The potato skins were crispy on the bottom and really good as well. The basket of fried mushrooms were crispy &hot. The interior is done in wood as we sat in a booth . They had assorted signs and pictures on the walls . We'll definitely be back again for the Strawberry Mash and more food .

Rachel was our server today and she did a good job. Ordered 50 wings plus an additional 10 wings. All three flavors we ordered were good. The dumpster fires were delicious. They also provide a military discount which is much appreciated. Since it's almost Christmas we decided to tip the bill. I'm sure Rachel was surprised and we hope she has blessed Christmas.

This place is kind of like Hooters, a lot of college crowd, but that is to be expected with University of Kentucky Campus located in Lexington. We started off Soft Baked Pretzels with Nacho Cheese. My wife had the Grilled Chicken Salad and I had the Red Rooster Sals, the special house dressing is amazing. Next we chose the winds, they offer 11 sauces ranging from Teriyaki to the "Nu-Killer" served in 2 oz offerings. My wife had the Honey BBQ and the Sweet Thai Chili. I had the Nu-Killer and the Korean BBQ sauces. The Koren BBQ is Gochujanj and similar to Sriracha and is solid heat, They also have offerings a variety of burgers as well as chicken sandwiches and also Pizzas and subs as well. My wife confirmed the sauces were as described and non remarkable. The wings were larger than most places. Usually I have to have 10-15 wings to fill up, this was close to 10 to being stuffed. The wings are well cooked and each one had a lot of meat on the bone. The Nu-Killer is not the hottest wings I ever had. The taste was more a habanero/cayenne base. They were great wings but far from the spiciest around. We were really skeptical about the breading, which usually means that they do not hold sauce well. However Roosters for the win here, the sauce soaks in to every crevice of the these traditional wings. There is not much else to say about it other than good quality and a tasty sauce (not spicy, nor should it be, just tasty). The heat level of Nu-Killer was much lower than we'd been told, an a disappointment in the heat level, but the wings themselves are immense and packed with flavor. If you're only seeking heat it may be possible to ask for no sauce and then toss them yourself in some your own preferred hot sauce or whatever floats your boat heat-wise, but if you're just looking for tasty wings, look no further. This was our first trip to Roosters and it's definitely a contender for a place to hit up on game day

Roosters is located near Walmart on Nicholasville Rd. They specialize in wings, sandwiches, and pizza. The inside is very sports bar- like, and they always seem to attract a good crowd. They do have a rewards program if you register online. I especially enjoy the boneless wings, and they have many sauces to choose from. My friend and I always have wings left over to take home because they are a generous size. The fried pickles are great, but I have not really like the fries or potato wedges either time I have had them. Overall, the food is good as well as the service.

No sauce. Just deep fried chicken.

The food is good, but the service is way too slow. They can't handle the crowds so come in when it's not busy

Kind of an upscale "Hooters" without the girls. Wings and sauces are very good, but a little pricier than I'd want.

I generally only go there when a game is playing. It's fantastic for that. The food is okay enough I tend to just go with the wings.

The shear number of bottles on the bar will keep your eyes moving about and hard to focus on anything else. For food, I had the wagyu meatballs and couscous salad. This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.

Luckily, we weren't disappointed. When we first walked in, the ladies at the hostess stand offered us free breadsticks for joining "Parlour Rewards". Since these appetizers were being handed out for free, I wasn't exactly expecting perfection. But boy, was I wrong. The breadsticks were hot and fresh-the bread itself was soft and fluffy. We got the garlic sauce with them (recommended to us by our server) and it was delicious. After much debating and scrutiny, we decided to order two large pizzas- "The Boss" and "Hot Honey Pepperoni". The Boss was labeled as "very spicy", and it definitely delivered it that respect. Their homemade red sauce was amazing. The Hot Honey Pepperoni balanced sweet and heat perfectly. The only thing I'd change is the type of slice, since my childhood self was not quite accustomed to the triangular shape. Nice ambiance in here and the service from Karolyne was great. All in all, an awesome experience here at Parlour. Maybe even awesome enough to justify the loss of its predecessor establishment. I'd definitely recommend stopping by, and I'd recommend taking advantage of their free breadsticks that are seriously some of the best I've ever had.

Finally decided to try again after a not great experience the first time (to go). Came in on a…read moreSaturday around 2 and was seated immediately. Server was nice but new and didn't seem to know what the pizza options were. We ordered bbq wings and their version of a supreme pizza called The Deluxe. Wait was a little long but bearable. Wings were hot but weren't particularly flavorful. We chose a regular crust pizza but it was THIN. I was surprised that for the price that was the serving. Overall fine since their crust is doused in garlic butter and the pizza sauce is a little sweet, but with so many other places in town with great crust, probably won't return.
