I came in on Saturday - to get my 10 free birthday wings for being a loyalty member. I had been checking the app all week and the offer had not shown up so I went in and asked for help. It turns out I forgot to add my birthdate into the app so I never got the coupon. But Emily was so kind and took care of it anyway with no issues. I loaded my birthdate into the app so not to make the same mistake next year. Hooters was always my favorite chicken wing spot. After covid - the quality had declined and I was disappointed. I have always liked this place. It reminds me of Clearwater, FL where I lived for a brief time. Their wings are always good and I love their latest menu. Not only the physical layout of the printed menu but also the variety of options available. They also offer a tremendous amount of sauce choices as well as dry rubs. My favorite sauces are the Spicy Garlic, Hot and the Caribbean Jerk dry rub. I love their Buffalo Shrimp! It is my favorite meal here. The manager that was working at the time of our last visit was very questionable. There was hair in my bleu cheese and he acted weird about taking the cost of the sauce off the bill. I have been here several times throughout the years. I was frustrated a few months back that no one came to our table to even welcome us and take our drink orders after at least 20 minutes. I ordered wings for the family tonight and we were very disappointed. My bill was over fifty dollars and the food was un edible. The wings were such low quality we couldn't eat them. Each wing was purple/brownish inside. We ordered them extra crispy as that was an option for online ordering. They were soggy and disgusting. When I went in to pickup my order, they said there was an order in front of me and it would be awhile. I found it odd since I came in at the time I was told the order would be ready and there was nobody else there. Then I started hearing the cook in the back cursing and saying rude things to the server about who knows what. I was looking for wings and was surprised to find that Hooters offered delivery on their website. I'm not sure if it was a special or not but delivery was free, which ended up really being outsourced to DoorDash. The food arrived faster than quoted and was decently warm, definitely not like in the restaurant but for delivery was acceptable. The only downside to my order was that I asked for extra crispy but by the time the wings arrived they had already steamed down to not at all crispy. Again it's the sacrifice for ordering take out. They have just added Roasted wings to their growing menu of wings. Great taste. The Daytona Beach wings are probably my new favorite. But I will occasionally do the throw back original hot wings! First time eating at Hooters. Wasn't disappointed! Chill vibe, the food was great and portioned well. Prices weren't out of line either I, like many others, I'm sure, assumed this place would be filled with perverted old men. Couldn't be more wrong. There were couples, families with children, single men sitting along the side reading the newspaper, not paying any mind to the women in revealing clothing around them, and buddies at the bar watching sports and having a good time. I was with my daughter & her family last evening when they ordered from your restaurant. The order was paid with Door dash. The order took about 45 minutes to get to us. I ordered the Twisted Texas Melt with onion rings. It looked good! The onion rings were okay, nothing special. Tried to take a bite of my sandwich but the bread/toast was so hard, I couldn't take a bite out of it! So, I removed the top piece of toast and was able to bite into it. I just get irritated by nearly every restaurant taking shortcuts to food quantity while often $ gouging the customer. I ordered the Baja shrimp tacos and although they tasted great, they should rename them "Baja cabbage tacos", there were about 2 pcs of shrimp on them. See pics for the mound of evidence. My husband and I came in to at 10:15pm and ordered our food. We waited patiently and realized that we've been waiting for 20 mins and still no food. Finally one of the waitresses told us that my husband's order was ready, but mines ended up getting tossed away so we had to wait an extra 10 mins. At 10:55 I finally asked for some drinks for our wait, which they were nice to give to us. We didn't get our order until 10:58 pm. For the amount my husband paid which came up to $41.85, his food was cold and the blue cheese was spoiled. Very dissatisfied with the service. Outstanding food. I ordered the fish tacos and it was as good as the fish tacos I had down in Santa Rosa Florida. Second best fish tacos in my book. This place is not my to go place to eat in, but for take out, yeah it's definitely the place. The food we had was surprisingly yummy. I would definitely recommend their fish tacos! The only downside to it is that they don't add enough fish in it. Their chicken tenders were pretty good and my kids devoured them. The fries were also seasoned great and definitely something I would order again. Another dish that I like is their buffalo chicken sandwich. It's a great portion and you definitely get your money's worth. I have not been to a Hooters in a few years. This was the first time I've been to one since they added smoked wings. These are by far my new favorite wing. I ordered the garlic habanero dry rub and the Cajun sauce. These were delicious. The smoke added to flavors in your mouth and because they are not breaded they are less calories. My friend and I ordered oysters on the half shell as an appetizer and they were surprisingly fresh. If we weren't so full we may have ordered more. A Vietnam veteran was there and noticed we were also vets so he sent a pitcher of beer over. He came over and talked to us so long his friends left him. We had to give him a ride to his hotel on the back of a Harley. That was wrong what his friends did but we don't leave a man behind. Good times for sure. read more

This is the same food in every state. It's not life changing, but kids eat free on Saturdays and dollar beers currently all day Mondays is pretty sweet. Most of the servers know me here and treat me very well. The owner/operator/manager? Mac Weir, good guy. He will do what needs to be done to make sure your experience is all it should be. I admit it. I'm a fan of Hooters restaurant because no matter where I travel for work, they are always close by. They are a constant, like the newspaper USA today used to be. Been hitting up this location of hooters for several years. I admit they went through a spell where they were meh, but recently they have rebounded very well. We got gutsy and have tried bacon wrapped and samurai wings when they had them on the menu. I hope they bring back the beer cheese pretzels. The service was awesome. This is a great establishment. I go around twice a week. My food has always been fresh, hot and ready to eat. All the staff is great. Though, If you have Emily, Hailey, Taylor, or Lindsay you will have above and beyond experience as they are personable, and care about the people they have at their tables. Where to start.... This Hooters location is always jammed packed with customers. It's staff is filled with the most beautiful women that Lexington has to offer. Jenna from the RICHMOND store works the bar here on Thursdays. So if you want to meet the best Hooters girl that I know, you need to go on Thursday and specifically ask for her. This location is ran by the coolest Hooters manager I think I've ever met. Brian Dixon makes a point to interact with his customers and even takes time to run food and refill drinks. Most GMs I know would tell someone to do these things but he isn't too good to help. He also is a huge supporter of the Special Olympics of Kentucky which is pretty cool if you ask me! I had my usual, ten boneless Daytona and Big Dipper fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. Even though Miss Jenna was slammed with a party of 25, she never let my cup be empty. Can't beat that type of service. The outside patio at this location is awesome on nice days! I've never seen such a nice open set up on a patio! Kiara was slow and inattentive. I get it, it's a Friday night. They're busy. But evidently my fiancee and I weren't 'into her' enough, so she just gave up on our table. She spent far more time schmoozing with every other table and hardly gave us any notice. She literally came to our table to take an empty sprite cup, didn't even bother to look at or acknowledge us, and spun around to go help another table. I ordered a water and a tall boy cougar bait, she forgot my water. When I ask for it again, she finally brings it, but spills it all over the table. Doesn't even bother to clean it up. It took over 30 minutes to get our food, and she didn't even check on us once after we placed our order. Our wings were cold, too. When our food was brought out, I ordered a second beer; we finished our food and it still hadn't been brought to the table. When I told her to cancel the beer, I got a rude look. We have been to MANY Hooters but this the 1st one in a strip mall. So 1st off it was cramped in there. We got our drink order in then our food order in a timely manner.....then waited....waited....and WTH?....waited! When the food came it wasn't as hot as I am accustomed to....but really didn't have any more time to wait over a half hour for a redo. Waitress was bland. The buffalo shrimp greasy. The music so loud I couldn't talk to anyone at my table and had to ask the waitress to repeat what she said more than once. It was my first time eating at Hooters. I got the hooters burger and Curly Fries and a sweet tea to drink. All of the waitresses were extremely nice and courteous. They would stop buy every few minutes to check on us and we never had to ask for a refills. I would totally recommend the restaurant to anyone. The only complaint I have is the short shorts those girls have to wear. I think they should at least cover the whole butt cheek and this is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars. read more

The Lexington Hooters is pretty good! When my 11 year old grandson asked to go there for his birthday dinner I almost dropped my jaw! I'm like "WHAT?"..."WHERE?" But like most grandmoms I took him and his brothers! I was shocked to find out it is a family oriented restaurant (at least at 4:30 pm on a Saturday). The boys ordered wings, fries and salads. They ate everything in site! The best part was the photo that the servers took with him! He was sure in Pre-teen boy Heaven! Then the icing on the cake was sitting next to us were some of UK's football team. When they found out it was his birthday they made a really big deal over him. It was a great birthday!
