Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. He took his time showing my daughter the process, from pouring, mixing, balancing the smells and everything in between. He knew a lot about scents and what goes well together. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month. Really neat shop, close to lots of other neat businesses like coffee and ice cream shops.

I went with my son and some friends, and we all want to go back for a girl's night out. You get to choose your candle container, number of wicks and scents. They recommend choosing 3 scents and there are a lot of scents to choose from! They were helpful with helping us decide which ones went well together. The other side is a gaming lounge/bar with self-pour taps, which is pretty neat. You can serve yourself beer and wine after getting a card from the front desk. Overall, it was a fun experience and worth checking out if you are looking for something different to do.

WELL, we found a great place that ticked most of those boxes, just a different view than sun and sand but that was OK! The drinks were very tasty, a mango slushy and a citrusy sour. Our "snack" was a great wood fired oven pizza called Burrata Diavola. Great vibes, great music. Fun time!!

The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.

We tried a few things on the menu, made sure to build up our hunger after playing an hour of pickle ball. We easily rented a court online via their website. Staff was nice and welcoming. It was a great time. Easy to find and plenty parking in the parking lot. We will be back!

AVOID CHIP SHOT: Ruined Father's Day, Zero Service, & Complete Waste of Money…read moreIf you are looking for a seamless, fun golf simulator experience, do not waste your money at Chip Shot. They have absolutely no concept of customer service, scheduling, or basic organization. I took my kids here for Father's Day, and the staff completely ruined our afternoon and essentially robbed us of our time and money. The ambiance is ok and looks like it has potential. Here is how our "premium" simulator experience went down: * The Waiting Game: We arrived for an 11:30 AM simulator reservation. By 11:34 AM, the front desk guy told us someone was still in our bay, and they would let us know when it was ready. * Ghost Town Service: We went to get drinks while we waited, but it took 10 minutes just to find an employee to serve us. * Abandoned by Staff: After waiting around with no updates, we finally walked over to the simulator area ourselves. The bay was sitting wide open and empty. We had to walk back to the front desk just to ask if it was ours. The guy casually said yes. * Zero Setup Help: Nobody showed us to the bay, and nobody offered a single second of assistance to get us started. We were left completely on our own to figure out the software setup and how the tees worked, forcing us to walk back to the front desk multiple times just to ask basic questions. * The Ultimate Kick in the Teeth: By the time we finally got the system up and running, it was 12:15 PM. Only then did an employee bother to ask if we needed help. Just 15 minutes later, at 12:30 PM, the front desk guy marched over with another group and told us we had to leave because "these people have it reserved at 12:30." When I pointed out that we had only managed to play two holes because of their delays and lack of assistance, the response was a completely indifferent shrug. They are fiercely protective of the next group's reservation schedule yet completely disregard the time slot you actually paid for. To top it all off, when we tried to leave, I had to chase someone down again and wait forever just to pay for our drinks. The Bottom Line: If Chip Shot is so obsessed with keeping their schedule on track, why don't they have staff who guide you to your bay and provide a 2-minute quick start so you can maximize your time? We received zero apologies, zero solutions, and a ruined Father's Day. We were planning on staying for awhile doing other activities and have food. Save your hard-earned money and take your business to a simulator facility that values its customers and understands how to run a schedule. Horrible management, nonexistent service, and an absolute rip-off.
