Solid atmosphere, convenient central location, spacey scenes inside and out back, solid events and drink options

The drinks are so good and cute! The prices are great. The atmosphere is amazing and chill

It's fun to do silent disco here ! My girlfriend likes the sangrias and i'll usually grab a can of two chicks. I like the outside courtyard. Bathroom is fun and iconic for pics in the big mirror.

Root Down Jax was a funky cool spot! I was told before arriving they had wonderful sangria, and my friend did not lie! I ordered the white sangria, which I highly recommend. I'm not sure if it was happy hour prices, but it was only $5 per glass, which was a steal in this economy. Several friends ordered the red sangria and loved it. I tasted it and liked it, but I prefer the white. The bartender was friendly, and the space was lovely. There was also a huge projector showing the Jags game on the wall behind the bar. But my favorite spot was the patio. I loved the green space, and there was lots of seating. Stop in and check them out!

Decided to hang around a bit with my friends after the Yelpies '22 so we went down to Root Down for some drinks. Well, one drink. This place is so airy and open, not to mention all white. Plenty of seating with more outside in the back where there's another bar, but it wasn't in use at the time. A friend and I commented about how the vines in the back accented the area and how it was a nice touch. Most likely because it was a Sunday they were not busy at all. The Jags game was on but only a few people watching it. I ordered a red sangria and it's probably one of the best I've had. It was topped with champagne so it wasn't too sweet, just a nice hint with the tree branch of rosemary in it. I really like rosemary and smelling it while sippin' was delightful. What a nice little spot.

Sunday is a fun day in deed at Root Down Jax. I highly recommend the Red sangria topped with some bubbly, super fresh and tasty, one of the best drinks I've had in a while. Love the fact that it was a somewhat warm afternoon and we were able to enjoy drinks in the beautiful patio. Game was on the big screens and facility was spotless, our barmaid was super friendly and made sure we had and amazing time.

Perfect stop for a refreshing drink for my 1st visit to to SunRay Cinema next door. The (NA) Craft lemonade was very good and I'll definitely order again on my return visit. Shoutout to Bartender Charlie for her hospitality. The interior has a cool contemporary design and is spacious. Seating at the bar was comfortable. Chill vibes throughout along with friendly patrons enjoying their drinks...Cheers y'all and see ya again soon!

What a cool place in 5 points. From the outside it looks like not much and even on inside the decor is minimalist all white and some green plants. It was also arctic cold inside, the bartender told me it was to prep for the "silent disco" that would be happening later that night and it would be busy so needed to lower temp. I hope it worked because by time we had 2 drinks I needed to leave because I needed a parka to stay. Hat being said the music was good and the drinks were delicious! There are some really unique ingredients that you wouldn't think it would be in a cocktail but we loved everything. Definitely need to come back and try more...but bring a jacket if Friday or Saturday nights haha

My husband and I recently stopped by this bar while walking around Five Points one Saturday afternoon. He tried a couple local brews from their extensive list of beers and ciders in draft, while I opted to try their sangria. I'm very picky when it comes to sangria, but they hit a home run with this one. It's very fruity without crossing the line of being too sweet. The atmosphere was pretty quiet and laid back since we'd arrived mid to late afternoon, but more people started coming in around the time we were leaving. I saw ads for a silent disco at the bar, which sounds interesting, and their patio out back looked very pretty with lush vines along the wall. Would probably be a nice spot to grab a drink after dinner in the Five Points/ Riverside area on a nice summer night.

    No AC vents

They will refuse you service if you don't tip even though tipping is an optional thing but they Berated me call you an asshole and refuse service me. I went with a group of 10 people all of them either didn't tip or only tip once and were able to purchase more than 5 drinks a piece. Very unprofessional, I spoke to the manager and he said that's how his staff makes a living. Maybe pay your people more. The female bathroom was not attended to ran out of toilet paper and paper towels, there was no ac and there was blood on the doors.

This place is great if you just want to chill and watch whatever's on the projector screens. Great drinks, even though there's no liquor. I go here for the flavored champagne drinks. It's pretty empty usually, so it's not too loud. I don't like a super crowded bar, but I wish there were more people to appreciate this space. Bathroom is AWESOME. The lighting is fabulous to grab a selfie in.

They've been here for five years now. Where is the signage?! I really liked this spacious wonderful place. The young lady running the bar tried to get us to purchase the sangria. I asked if I could taste both flavors. Yuck! No thank you. Tammy and I ended up ordering a nice glass of wine. I love the spaciousness of this place. Plenty of room for all. There bathrooms were clean, they had chairs in the bathroom In case you needed to rest for a minute. They had a back patio outdoors. There was a wonderful gardenia garden above your head as you enter to the outdoors. It smelled so good! I loved the disco ball and the lighting moving on the wall. I loved all of the candles on every table. The only minus is with high ceilings, everything echos. There was a loud group at the table behind us. I look forward to returning here again soon. Please add signage outside, so you can be noticed by more people! Great place!

I was thinking the outside looks like they made it with Lego, but Lego from an artisan. From what I understand, it was the ice packing plant for the city, converted into a tile shop, converted into a brewery. Really love the end product. I especially love that they have Belgians on tap in Florida, where Belgians are few and far between. The Belgians here, including the hefeweizen were made with love. Before I forget, shouts out to Jeff for answering all my eclectic questions, and being a genuinely all around professional. Love your energy bro, low key and inviting, an authentically good person. The BEER: Weizen Wolf hefeweizen 6% ABV... this is the hefe I remember from Germany, banana and clove goodness BPA Belgian Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... like a party in my mouth, perfectly balanced and so very crushable Hostile Wit-Ness Belgian Wit 4 5% ABV... not what I expected, it has floral notes, is light like jasmine tea with a kiss instead of a bite at the end. And once it gets warmer it opens into something wonderful. St Anthony's Fire Rye Barleywine 10.8% ABV... slightly boozy, a semi sweet, with a delicious finish. This one is one and done. A full pour of this will send you home in an Uber. Southbank Hazy IPA 6.5% ABV... not a basic hazy, some citrus and when it warms up it is so very wonderful I didn't spend much time at Aardworf Brewing Company, but the time I spent was fantastic. Inside is a little tight, but it is an old building with naked bricks, historic decor, a good sized bar and tables inside. Outside is a deck with covered tables, another area for corn hole and a food truck which has all the major bar food groups including churros. Sean was my beertender and he really was the best. They have a policy of holding your card for tabs which I really hate, but he made me feel comfortable about leaving my life in his hands. When I first walked in on a weekday during happy hour, it was pretty light, but around 4:30p the place started filling up. Happy hour is Monday - Friday until 6pm and they have 18 taps which qualify for happy hour. Plus they had 3 guest taps, both ciders. Ruby Beach has a mug club, it is about $80 for the year. You get a free beer on Tuesday as well as your own numbered mug. It is limited. So exclusive in fact that they do a raffle every August. Over the Ditch 15.0 NEIPA 6% ABV... if I was in front of a firing and they gave me a last request, I might choose this beer. Sweet grapefruit and stars... love this! Grit & Glow Lager 5.2% ABV... if you have ever smelled fabuloso that is what I first smelled when I put the beer to my lips, the beer itself is just as perfumey, not for me... but if you like those type of flavors in beer, you might like this one Rosemary In the Rye Pale Ale 5.5% ABV... all day crushable pale ale, with a slight hint of rosemary, basically the Mac Daddy plus rosemary O'Ruby's Irish Stout 5.5% ABV... smooth coffee with hints of toffee, so ver crushable, but it is way better warm Didn't get to try the food on this visit, but on a side note... the bathrooms are both unisex and CLEAN.
