We set up an appointment to fix my shower (not an emergency) but he still offered to come out first thing Saturday morning. He was supposed to be there at 9 and he was there at 8:58 am apologizing for being so early. AMAZING! He was able to fix the drain in under 10 minutes and he was out like a flash. Easy peasy. Glad I found Ron plumbing service on Yelp. 1st time I had his son Steven show up to de-clog 2 bathroom drains. Steven was on time and did both drains within 45 minutes! All for just $59 each. Now the water drain smoothly. 2nd time Ron came out for a kitchen leaking faucet. He came out on the same day i called him. Toilet barely flushed. I pumped the septic tank out (yes it needed it badly). Still toilet barely flushes. Called Ron because of his rave reviews on yelp. He answered and came over himself right away. Before he started with the rotor rooter he said let's investigate the issue. He was thorough, better than a Doctor in diagnosing the issue. It was not the lines - it was the toilet itself - clogged up from calcium deposits. He tested the bathtub drainage and sink and then proved it was the toilet by pouring down a large volume of water and it "flushed" perfectly! So, the actual toilet itself needs to be replaced. He said to buy one myself and he'll come back and install it for me. Where in the world in today's time do you find someone so thorough, honest, prompt and no-nonsense? Called Ron a few months ago after reading yelp reviews to attach a garbage disposal and to connect the drain from our new double sink to the wall outlet. Described in detail the work that had to be done. Ron came out that day which was great, but tried to haggle on the previously agreed upon price stating that the work that needed to be done was not as described (it was) and also said how he was not really in the business of connecting the pipes (thought he was a plumber?). We agreed on increasing the agreed upon price to cover his "material costs" (even though I had purchased the p-trap, tape and other materials in advance). Well, just last week I had to personally redo the pipes that were completed because they were becoming loose and were leaking. Perhaps Ron is great on his rooter side of things, but I wouldn't use him again for general plumbing issues. read more

I had a clog in my kitchen sink line. I tried snaking it myself but no luck. I found $59 Rooter on Yelp (Thanks Yelpers for the reviews!) and gave him a call. Within 2 hours, my line was clear. I was quoted $145 before the service guy came out, and he explained that they used different equipment on kitchen lines than they do on tub and bathroom sink drains. Fair enough. In attempting to replace a washer and dryer, I discovered that my cold water hose had fused to the faucet. After wrestling with it for a day with no luck, I contacted Ron through Yelp last night around 10:30 pm to get an estimate on having someone come out the next week to work it off the faucet for me. Ron replied back immediately and gave me some helpful hints on how to get it off the faucet. The next morning I was still having issues. I let Ron know that I would like to schedule a time for him to come out and look at it. Ron replied that he was in the area and would stop by to take a look this morning. Turns out there was a problem with the faucet. Even though it was working fine, part of the hose had fused to the connection. It would need a replacement faucet. Ron stayed until it was fixed and explained everything thoroughly. I contacted Ron to simply get an estimate around 10:30 Saturday night, and by 10:00 Sunday morning it was fixed and I was ready to connect my new washer and dryer. Ron did an amazing job! read more

Ron came to our house twice: first was to clean the root in the sewage line; second was to create a map for our main sewage line. In my first call, I called him early in the morning (after trying a lot of solutions on the day before that), and he showed up in 1 hour. He snaked the sewage line from the roof and it was thoroughly clean again. One month later, I started to get concerned about the sewage line because there are a lot of trees in our backyard. So I called him again to give me a quote for mapping the sewage line.
