The dispatching service was more or less horrible in the way nobody ever contacted me that it really would take all day and then some to come out to my house. I give them the benefit of the doubt having a job which took longer than expected, but why is it impossible for them to give the customer a call, a text or an email to inform them? A 9 - 5 window (they finally came about 5.30 pm) is unacceptable and takes away from the excellent work their technicians are definitely capable of. Maybe some modifications would be beneficial? Oh dear, tonight....the water heater is still leaking. Hope this will NOT of those long troubled repair job??? I am scared.

Had the pleasure of working with Jerry and his son Gage. A competing plumber came first and stated that my pipes were PVC and water jetting would fix it. Quoted at $485 for first our of work. Jerry quickly discovered that my pipes were not PVC and said he'd need to go through my wall. After cutting the hole we discovered he was 100% correct and the entire archaic pipe needed to be replaced. He accomplished that and now we're set.

It took him three tries to get a simple faucet drip fixed, he replaced cartridges when it was a water heater problem (confirmed by a reputable company and my own brother in law who is a master plumber in another city), made a mess with mud all over my carpet, and talked to me like he was all knowing and I'm the idiot. American Home Shield needs to drop him now!!!!!!! Update: the helper wasn't sure if the shut off valve was indeed a shut off valve. Water spewed all over both bathrooms and they made no effort to clean their mess. Another update-they don't caulk around the plumbing fixtures they just installed. I was told AFTER I ASKED that it would leak if I don't! Seriously??????

I wish I could give this company 0 stars…read more They were sent to us by American Home Shield, which I would also give 0 stars if I could. A+ came out to fix a faulty flapper on our toilet, and take a look at our sink. The plumber "didn't have the part" to fix the flapper, despite the fact that this is a basic repair. They also didn't have what they needed to fix our sinks. So we wait almost two weeks for a follow-up appointment. The return plumber fixed the flapper on the toilet, but again was unable to fix our sink. So the plumber comes a third time, disconnects our sink and strips out all the caulking, and then states that he will need to come back a fourth time to fix it! Well, the fourth time was today - we took the whole day off work (more on that below) and A+ calls and says they will not fix our sink until we make repairs to the hole in the counter where the faucet is mounted. After going around and around, and speaking with a manager, we convince them to come out and at least get our faucet back in working condition. During all of this mess, a washer was lost off the bottom of the faucet and they refused to replace even that until we "fix our counter". This was the worst plumbing experience of my life. They are totally incompetent at plumbing. Their workers are filthy and grimy - and not uniformed I might add. Furthermore, their service is appallingly rude. They won't give you a time window, so you have to take the whole day off of work. They call you to tell you when the technician is coming, but if you don't (or can't) answer, and don't call back within 10 minutes, they CANCEL the call. These people are absurd. Never use A+. Never use AHS. Crap companies, crap customer service, crap work. Awful beginning to end.

This was not the case when I called Brandon Bell Plumbing. My wife had found good reviews online so we called him. He responded almost immediately and confirmed a time for the next day and arrived on time. Brandon was professional, polite, and he communicated what he was going to do. He repaired my issue and charged a very reasonable price. I thought it going to be more. Everyone seems to have a tip jar out these days and plumbing is not a service you thing about tipping, but I actually thought about it after he left. So here's a review I hope gives an honest small business man some more business.

Brandon added an enclosure to my water heater earlier this year, to help prevent any freezing issues we may have in the winter. He was great, and made sure the work site was left perfect and went above and beyond to make it all look tidy post-install. Her and I have had several jobs done by Michael @ Patriot Plumbing in the past. I asked her for the number to Michael, thinking it was Michael @ Patriot Plumbing. In her phone directory she had Mike and Michael. The first one that came up was Mike. I needed cast iron drain replaced that had been previously replaced by the homes previous owner and bypassed with PVC outside of the wall. One of Mike's professed plumbers showed up with a rookie helper that knew virtually nothing about plumbing to do the job. The plumbing to be replaced was in the crawl space under the house. Neither plumber or helper ever wore shoe covers to walk in and out carrying tools and equipment to the crawl space to do the job. One of the things needed to do the job was PVC for the drain. Rather than measure and cut the PVC on the back patio where they had all of their equipment, the helper was told to take the 8/10 foot piece of drain PVC through the house to a hallway leading to the entrance to the crawl space, there to be cut as need with a saw, leaving the PVC dust on the floor. When the new PVC drain was finally re-routed inside the inside wall it was protruding 3/4 inch outside the wall studs, which he estimated to be only 1/4 inch at the time that would not interfere with the sheetrock. The reason it stuck out was that the angled fittings were not aligned before they were glued. I told him that was OK at the time so I could get him and his helper out of the house and I could fix that mess. He said he leak-checked it but he never turned the water back on until he was headed to the unmarked truck when he said he would turn the water back on. I replaced the sheetrock by placing 3/4 inch furring strips on all the studs on that wall. After the wall was finished we moved the washer and dryer back into the utility room to hook them up only then did we discover that the washer access panel for the water and drain hose were not installed properly in that they did not cut out the plug for the drain hose to fit into the drain. We managed to cut out the hole that was supposed to be done before installation according to installation instructions for that cheap access panel. When the cost of $1970.00 was above my daily limit for my debit card I called Mike and told him I could not pay with my debit card, I would have to wright a check. He said he was on the road and would meet me at the DQ and asked me what vehicle I would be driving. I wrote the check for $2000.00 even cause I am 83 years old and don't want to figure out how to get that many words on the amount line. I made the check to the plumbing company that I thought I was dealing with because of the wrong phone number I was given up front and both were run by Mike and Michael. When I arrived at the DQ a man walked up to the truck and said hi. I said who are you, I don't know you. He said he was Mike from the plumbing company. I had made out the check to the plumber I thought I was dealing with and he said that was not his company. I told him I would make out another check and he said to leave the pay to part of the check blank. I am still waiting for my bank statement to see who it was payed to. After that day my e-mail started receiving requests for payment from My Plumbing Company a project of All My Services a Private Membership/Ministry Association for Invoice#001135 for $1970.00 that was considered a donation. It is now 17 days after that check was written and I called Mike back and asked about the e-mails and he said something to the effect of he forgot to mark that paid. Dealing with this outfit has been a nightmare that I am just glad to put behind me. Do not recommend ever using this plumbing company or what ever it is to do anything.

Its Sunday, July 3rd., so it's hot, but the short amount of time they showed up on a day when EVERYONE is off and with friends was very much appreciated. My ac unit is about 10 or 11 yrs. He replaced 2 parts that should have died long ago, a third part that was just crap. With the senior discount (parent's house) the bill was pretty easy to stomach considering I know it should have been more. So very reasonable pricing. The best part is the guy didn't try to take advantage of the situation. He let me know there was something else that needed to be fixed but advised me to hold off on, so this repair didn't get outrageous. Even gave me his best guess on how long I could push the part that needs replacing. This was over all a great experience. This is who you should call!!!
