The short story: this company will ghost you. They will also not give you a heads up they're coming the next day. Disorganized office staff. Plumbers themselves are fine but leave a mess. Make sure if you do use them, call them, don't use their texts and make sure they clean up. The amount of time of mine they wasted and mess they left should warrant a full refund. The 10% off they offered was laughable. The long story: They scheduled me to come out and check a clogged sink. They did not keep me updated and I had to follow up with them multiple times. The 4 hour window that I had set up, between 12-4pm, eventually ran out and they still had not arrived. They would only answer with excuses and offered me 10% off for being so late. The office staff that runs their text service must be multiple people because no one seemed to know my situation. Another message apologized and said they could come after 7pm! 7 hours after the initial window started and 3 hours after I said I had to leave the property. They rescheduled for the next morning and said I'd get a text 30min before the plumber heads over. I don't live at this property so this is important to know so I can meet them and let them inside. They show up with NO text and without me there, of course. I rush over and the plumbers are fine, they do what they can, and I have no issues with them... they seem to have no connection to the office and would be better off doing their own scheduling it seems. I have no complaints about the plumber that arrived except that he did leave a HUGE mess under the sink after leaving. Tons of "fog" / black water sludge debris I had to spend time cleaning. But he was polite and actually did the work that was promised the day prior. Then when I paid, the 10% off they offered was not applied. Called Rooter Ranger for a toilet back up. They were very prompt and they sent Ivan over for the service. Ivan took his time in explaining what can cause toilets to back up and pointed out that our toilet was a dual flush and you have to hold the flush handle in order to get a full flush. He was able to resolve our issue and even gave us pointers on how to upkeep our drains around the house. My experience with Rooter Ranger plumbing was not good. We decided to go with this company on the promise that it would only take a few weeks MAX to get our 2 showers remodeled, but this ended up instead taking 4 months to complete due to an endless list of excuses like "not receiving certain parts" or "receiving the wrong part and having to wait for a new order" or "our guys are busy on another job". Why are they starting so many jobs without finishing any? Supposedly (from the project manager) their guys went months without any days off due to them working on a ton of other projects. As a human being, I can agree that it sucks, but it was pretty much suggested that I shouldn't be bothering them about my project and they'll get to it when they can. I'm not the one working them like dogs? Are they just acquiring an endless list of jobs that they have no bandwidth to complete? I get that businesses want money, but at least have some professionalism about it. It very quickly became clear to me that this company books clients on the promise of a speedy job in order to get your business, then they start the job and leave it incomplete to move on to another client to repeat the process with them. Then they can take their time doing the work since they already got you locked in with payments and a half-way job. The manager of our project used every excuse he could think of to make it seem like the delays were always out of their hands. At the very beginning they said that they inspected all the parts, but somehow a month into the project they realize that they ordered the wrong size Shower pan. Okay. Mistakes can sometimes happen. So we made nothing of it. We had to wait a month for that to arrive and maybe another week or two before someone could install. Then, they move onto the walls. Well guess what, during that process they realized that they missed an order of parts for a whole wall?? So now we have to wait again. After about another month, they finally finished those walls, and only then realize that the Window trim kit was never received/ordered?? It seemed like it was always something conveniently that came up keeping our project on hold. At the very least this demonstrates a lack of professionalism and a lack of organization ... or it's a deliberate attempt to buy time. The whole time, there was nothing much we could do besides constantly ask about an update, since we would go months without hearing anything from anyone. Even our texts would go multiple days or weeks without reply. Basically forgotten. I would not recommend this company for any service based on their lack of communication, unprofessionalism of the staff, and extremely slow progress. read more

I hate to give negative reviews but.......I was attracted to Rooter Ranger for their interent advertised $47 special for a clogged kitchen sink. Appt. was set and plumber showed up on time. Unfortunately he brought a small, hand held (battery operated?) routing device and he was unable to clear the clog on the first attempt. He offered to try agin...for an additional $20, which I agreed to...but was still unable to clear the clog. Full disclosure, our house does not have an outdoor clean out for the kitchen sink so he had to access the pipe below the sink itself. After the failed second attempt, he suggested a $689 alternative called Hydro Jet. I passed, paid the $67 and he left. Nice enough guy but felt a bit taken. Called a real plumber on the suggestion of a neighbor and he wheeled in much larger, electrically powered device. 10 mins, done, sink unclogged. $85. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. read more

Two gentlemen from Rooter Ranger arrived to assess the job. I told them upfront that the WH that failed was only three years old. Neither of them made any attempt to investigate about a warranty on my existing WH. Their only concern selling me another WH for over $3200, and they offered me a $400. Veterans discount which brought it down to $2800! The company we went with Elite Heating & AC came out I told the tech about the age of my current WH he look up the ID on the Reheem site and it came back that is covered under warranty! It cost us $1000. for labor and the acquiring another WH. That was much better than $2800 that Rooter Ranger tried to finagle out of me. Let the buyer beware. Integrity is everything and Rooter Ranger appears to have none. Now I have the owner reaching out to me for my personal information. Usually when companies say they can try to come out they really never do. Big in my book that they cared enough to come out today. Devan is thaaaaaa MAN!! He saved the day from my water bill going crazy. Had a little leak from my hose Bib (valve, faucet) in the backyard. I tried to switch it out myself but it started leaking from the compression ring. He gave me a couple options and gave me the most reasonable fix plus if anything were to happen in the future I would just replace the hose bib next time so he cut the pipe out with the compression ring and fitting and replaced with and extension threaded pipe and soldered it on. He was very professional and courteous, called and gave me an eta, and arrived right on time. Very polite and respectful. Which is something you never get in vegas!
