never use this company.consumer be warned!!.they are overpriced,rude and poor customer service....buyer be warned!! i wish i looked at reviews before using this company.i would of seem mamy,many customers that realized.after the fact they were over charged..they put some good ones upfront but if you get deep into reviews it is horrific!. i found out their are many quality.fair air conditioning companies in our area that don't rip you off,aren't very expensive and don't have rude techs and poor customer service!!!..i live in henderson.-89052.they are in vegas.. ripped off in a time of need is the game they play..i called them saturday afternoon and within an hour or two they showed up...from the second i let the tech in he was unfriendly ,rude and even a little confrontational..no tact/bedside manner...my issue was that my downstairs central air unit was not cooling downstairs..within 2 minutes he diagnosed it was a bad capacitor,,had no idea what a capacitor was and i looked at it..it is an uninpressive little aluminum cylinder..cheap little thing but it has a role in things working properly..i asked him how much is total cost to repolace..he said $300.00{he eventually at end said $275.00}}--still extremely essessive...i looked online at places on angies list and other sites when he was here and it said charging more then $150.00 is "a ripoff"i was desperate and said do the work begrudgingly..they count on that by giving ridiculous prices..he even attempted to add on a $79.00 service fee asnd rip me off further..i told him a service fee is when someone calls you out to diagnose and then send you on your way without giving you the job..keep in mind the part he put on is a $15-$20.00 part and tottal time to remove old one and put on new one is less than ten minutes tottal!!!..he was very rude when i questioned why so high,he was rude and confrontational and said"don;t argue with me i can leave if you want..really!!! his name is pho or something similar..shortly after he left either that day or sunday-i don't remember-i contacted yes air conditioning in vegas multiple times either via instant chat or e-mail and detailed all...on monday someone finally lvm for me to call back..i did and spoke to a woman named mayra or similar..i stated the facts ,how unhappy i am and feel ripped off! i said instead of posting a bad review on yelp and you loosing and not maybe thousands of dollars in business..a lot of people read reviews that i wanted to see what they could do as a compromise..she stated maybe she can take off $50,00 which didn't make me hapopy but i said at least that is something..she said she has to get permission from supervisor an get nack to me,,she didn';t get babk in 24 hours{bad customer cervice]so i called and left message for her..she called me back a few vhours latter and probally would not of if i didn't call back..she stated on my vm she couldn't do anythimg..so not only is yes air conditioning and plumbing over priced,rude poor customer service but i can add not smart...by not compromising and having me place a bad review along with your dozens of horrible reviews you will loose thousands more dollars of potential business...I quess they prefer doing the correct thing instead they prefer to loose thousands of dollars in future business with a bad review.,.,do not do business this company..call a company in our area that dosen't charge essesive prices,send out rude techs and has good customer service..i work hard for my money and i should of read their reviews where dozens of other people were priced way higher than they should..it is not nice taking advantage of people..be warned!!!!!!!! read more

Yes! You get what you pay for REAL Quality workmanship My old & reliable A/C finally called it quits after twenty two summers on the job. The writing was on the wall and I knew it, but I figured I would make it one more summer before having to upgrade. Well five summers later the usual noise I normally hear when the unit is running was now silent and the house was too warm. Oh well so I called up The Yes Man to speak with the most important members of the team to me and they are the kind folks in the call center. I called at 6am and was placed on an emergency call out for the afternoon. However I got a call back before I was about to attempt sleep in the heat and I was told they had someone available to come out at 830am instead of 4pm. Yes! So Phil my service specialist arrived on time in a great mood ready to go, so I told him what I knew was wrong then he went right to the problem. Not that I didn't already know it was time for a new unit, but with the part in hand he confirmed it. After that he got on the phone and was able to get me on the schedule for the afternoon. Yes! So once the installer showed up I was expecting a couple guys to change out my A/C & air handler, but it was only one. Well he was early so I figured the other installer was on the way from another job. Nope it was a one man show starring Jimmy. I offered to help because it was a lot of work for one person, but he kindly refused. Jimmy worked efficiently taking apart and tearing down each system component until he was ready for the crane. Once the crane arrived the new unit was moved into place safely and the unit was set in place. The crane operator left and Jimmy began putting the new system together piece by piece and finally after a hard day on the job the installation was complete. So after a double check I powered up the unit and started up the system while Jimmy finished cleaning up the work areas. After that we cooled down in front of the thermostat going over some features as the A/C brought down the temperature in the house then he conducted a final inspection of the system. So if that big parts supply company with the slogan "For the ones who get it done" offered awards I would have presented it to Jimmy. OMG, after a few minutes is was in my opinion Absolute was going to Rake My Insurance Company over the Coals. Number (1) one the Plumbing Repair was very excessive in Price, $493.00. Yes Plumbing knew that all (6) Six Condos were without water. They had me by the short hair so to speak. Not only was it apparent and/or suspicious in my opinion that Absolute intended to rake my insurance company over the coals, but there would be a finder's fee given to the technician of Yes Plumbing for calling Absolute to do the clean-up of water etc. The Repair is in my opinion SUBSTANDARD because the pipe was repaired with Rubber Hose's that in my opinion are doomed to fail. The Technician did NOT install Ball Valves or Gate Valves on the exposed Hot & Cold Pipes which should have been done in the event of a failure of the Rubber Hose's, thus preventing the Entire Condo Complex being without water when the above occurrence surfaces again. When I invited the Absolute Employee to leave my Condo with his equipment, under the threat of call Las Vegas Metro Police, he took the piece of Sheetrock that was cut out in-order to access the pipe for repair. My neighbor Mr. Robert C. Effron was present and he commented that the manner in-which the Sheetrock was taken appeared to be in retaliation. Rinnai tankless hot water heater went out beeping with error code. Same thing happened and was last serviced on 1/24/2015 for $300. Having had a number of plumbing companies work on this system with problems in the past, I requested a service person well versed in this system. He wanted to charge $198 for cleaning of the flame rod plus $50 for the service call. I balked at the additional service charge, because it hadn't been long since they serviced the same unit. Also, I wanted to check for a coupon that had come in the mail recently. Okay, the charge was then reduced to $198. The following week, it went out again. No hot water and a houseful of guests. A different service person arrived and soon afterward had his supervisor arrive to assist in the repair. I was told that they would replace the flame rod unit for $550. I argued that I had to pay for the cleaning of the flame rod unit when it should have been replaced to begin with. The supervisor insisted that the previous worker was no longer with the company and that the repair included additional parts and labor. Then I reminded them of how it would look on Angie's List for me to report being double charged because they do not stand behind their previous worker's decisions, etc... he reduced the charge to $349. Okay, so the next day there was another error code and I was without hot water... again. Now, the service person, the supervisor, AND the Rinnai representative arrive to determine the situation. Some settings were discussed and changed, then they tried to explain in great technical detail more information than I had time to hear. Bottom line, another part needed to be ordered and installed in order to remedy the problem. I am waiting for them to receive the part and set another appointment to install it now. I am thankful that there is great respect for these review sites by the companies we rely on for good service. This year alone, YES has charged me $300, $200 and now $349 for the same problem. Called Saturday Night at a little after midnight because AC went out. was 110 degrees out. They told me they couldn't come out for 3 days. I said that was not acceptable and I thought it was unreasonable because my wife is not well and I have 2 dogs. I told them I was certainly not going to leave them good reviews online because I thought it was false advertising to advertise 24/7 emergency service and then only to be told they couldn't come out for 3 days. I told them I know alot of people in this town (which I really do, i mean i know alot and that I would certainly not recommend them to anyone. I cannot say enough good things about this outstanding company and they're talented personnel! I had a kitchen sink leak last night where water was pouring out of the cabinet to the floor. It was later in the night, so I wasn't sure if I would be able to reach someone, but I gave "Yes" a call because I had seen their commercials and had read their their good reviews. They did not disappoint. The receptionist I spoke with expeditiously got me an immediate appointment early this morning. It was almost overwhelming seeing two of their vehicles pull up just for my situation. The team consisted of the supervisor Aaron, the technician Eric, and the trainee RyRy. All three gentlemen were true professionals! Polite, knowledgeable, and informative. They diagnosed my problem within seconds, thoroughly explained what was wrong, gave me my options, and corrected the problem. Their prices are extremely reasonable! I felt bad that they had to come out today of all days in Vegas ae it was the first time it has rained here in a long time and it was pouring down. Regardless, they had no complaints and all had cheerful demeanors. They put the shoe covers on and made sure there were no messes after They were finished. YES! Air Conditioning and Plumbing is a phenomenal company with incredibly knowledgeable, skillful and professional employees. Elite Plumbing, Heat and Air talked us into buying a new 5 ton TRANE unit last year which I'm just now paying off ($6700). As it turns out, no-one likes to service TRANE units. I had arranged a maintenance call with them early Friday and the kid who came out told me the fan unit had to be replaced (under warranty) but that they couldn't find the part. I called them five times and the 24/7 advertised company is 12/ 51/2 and the only response I got was "We'll let you know when we get the part." That was Friday afternoon. We (three of us--all seniors and one with a serious heart condition) were without air conditioning until Monday afternoon when YES! and Josh T rescued us. I had begun calling companies Saturday AM to see if someone else could help us and the second place I called recommended YES! Once Josh came out and explained the situation to us, I felt we were in good hands. And true to his word, he was out here early Monday to fix our system. BTW Elite did call today but couldn't get to us till tomorrow.... What company just leaves their senior, ailing customers without air for four days in 109 degree heat? Elite! I called Yes about two weeks ago to schedule an appt to have my furnace checked because my thermostat reading had an alert signal to have furnace serviced. Aside from the almost altercation with the phone rep (she called me to try and reschedule my appt that I've been waiting already two weeks for because apparently they've had a lot of emergencies and people are without air. I had to stand firm and tell her that I too am without warm air during the nights, especially by even having a brand new furnace installed by Yes just one year prior. Need less to say, they kept my appt) Joshua, the service technician, arrived in the two hour time frame I was scheduled for. He had a warm smile as soon as I opened the door. I automatically appreciated him putting on his booties over his shoes as soon as he walked into my house. I pointed him to the furnace and within 40 mins he was able to diagnosis the problem was a air in the gas line, fixed it and now I'm a happy AND WARM customer. This is about my sixth or seventh encounter with a Yes service technician in the past year with all the work that I've had done to the house. I have had nothing but all wonderful experiences with each technician and phone representative. I don't recommend this plumbing company. This phone call just happened about 15 minutes ago. No manager has returned my call even though I asked for one. I found "YES" plumbing company through AngiesList. I inquired about getting a point of use hot water device installed in the bathroom, under faucet and for shower. Hot water for only the bathroom. The receptionist who took the call, said I won't be able to get hot water to just the bathrooom and their plumbers only install tankless water heaters throughout the entire house, and they don't install under sink or point of use and there is no such thing. She gave me false information. Plumbers install Point of Use hot water systems all the time. It's common. I asked if she was a plumber. She avoided the question. I asked her three times if she's a plumber becaue she was giving me false information. She then said she's a plumbing company. She still never answered my question. She clearly was not a plumber. I asked for her manager. She said the quality assurance manager will call me back. BUt I didn't ask for a quality assurance manager, I asked for her manager. This is not a quality assurance complaint. This is a complaint about a receptionist at "YES" plumbing posing as a plumber on the phone and giving false information. read more

I purchased the spring check up from Home Depot and Tom C. from Yes! came out. He was very professional in appearance and demeanor. We have two units one 8 and one 6 years old. a 3 ton and a 5 ton unit. He spent about 30-45 minutes and then came with the "good news and bad news" It turns out the capacitor on the 3 ton unit was not as effective as it should be. He showed me the capacitor and the electrical readings, (but it was of little help for me.) I am normally quite hesitant, after seeing all those "hidden camera" shows on TV where they swap out parts and try to oversell, but he seemed like a straight shooter and he said it could cause the motor to overheat and shut down. This sounded very logical to me as we had problems with that exact unit last summer where on a couple of super hot days it did shut down, but then worked again later that day (possibly after cooling down) and I figured I would rather pay it now than later when the motor burns out as well. It was an additional $222 on top of the $49 per unit. The other unit passed all the tests so I have my fingers crossed that we make it through another Vegas summer with no major i$$ues. I believe I received good and fair service and would call them again in case of problems with our units. read more

Josh goes through everything and makes sure he understands the problem and then from that moment on he works on it and upon finding the reason explains what he found and the solution.
