The entire time , they were able to work around my tenant and keep everything flowing! Every one of the men that worked on my property we're friendly and professional. I called because of one my rentals properties was having plumbing issues something with the sewage pipe. They sent over some new guy Alex all he did was drink cans of beer out of his blue cooler. Misdiagnosed "roots," refused refund -- fixed next day for $356 Service date: Aug 12, 2025 (Tucson). I called Rooter Ranger for the $33/33-minute promo for a clogged toilet. Tech arrived ~2 hours later, did not attempt a toilet-side auger, ran a snake from the roof, charged me $350 that day, and told me I had "serious roots," pushing a paid camera and a ~$3,000 repair. A clear bait and switch! The next day, Rite Way Heating, Cooling & Plumbing removed the toilet, cleared the line properly, showed me the camera live, and confirmed there were NO main-line roots. Total: $356. Problem solved. When I asked Rooter Ranger for a refund, they refused and insisted they did everything right. Based on the second opinion and successful repair, their diagnosis and $3,000 recommendation were wrong. In my view, this felt like a classic "upsell" that could have cost me thousands. Talk about rip off!! I had one of their techs just come to my house to quote me on installing a new wax ring for my toilet and would reset the toilet and he told me $900 but could do it for $650 instead. Remind you he never even came inside my house just stood outside my front door and quoted me but yet they can't give you a "quote over the phone without looking at the toilet first" First of all a wax ring costs like $10 or $15. I already got a quote from another company for $150. Do people really think we are that stupid when they give us an outrageous quote that mahes zero sense...no thanks I'm no fool!!! read more

He double checked the pipes were unclogged at the cleanout as well and answered all our questions! They are horrible. Spent several thousands of $'s and have had numerous no calls and no shows. This job has lasted weeks instead of days. Now can't get them back to clean up job site. Caused damage to landscaping and backyard fixtures. Sent their "contractor out to fix it. The fix fell apart in less than 12 hours. I have asked several times for invoices and documentation of these so we have proof, warranty for repairs and recourse if necessary. When they were paid 1/2 of the bill because of these issues as well as others not discussed, he called and tried to force us to pay all of it before the job is complete. He yelled and lied but I would not budge. Told me he was in trouble with his boss because he did us so many favors and now not paid in full. Stated his boss was standing right next to him at that time. I asked to speak with him but that did not happen. We have pictures and videos to document all of this. We are forced to outsource this repair work and then bill Rooter Ranger for the repairs to be done by reputable contractor. read more

When our laundry plumbing continued to back up in our 1957 home--even after it was hydro-jetted twice, we called Rooter Ranger. With their camera, they were able to see the problems and also clearly explain to us what needed to be done. John, Luciano, and Colton opened up our root-filled pipes, replaced a broken section of pipe, and epoxy-coated pipes inside and outside the house. This all was done faster than expected and came with a 15-year warranty. It was necessary to dig up a portion of the driveway to reach the broken pipe, and Rooter Ranger let us know in advance that they were not able to replace the pavers--and of course, did not charge us for that. We appreciated being told this up front, and Colton removed the driveway pavers and stacked them very carefully so that we would be able to replace them after the plumbing work was completed. read more

I called for an emergency plumber on Saturday, but no one showed up, and they assured me someone would come on Sunday. They were supposed to arrive at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday and they came sometime mid Sunday evening, they tried to snake the drain but we're unsuccessful and said they needed to come back on Monday with a camera and that they would be there with a supervisor Monday morning. I didn't hear anything from them Monday so I called in the evening and I was told that they would come out with the supervisor in the morning on Tuesday, no one showed up, I called and they said someone would be there between 1:00 and 3:00, no one showed up. I called again, and they said someone would be there between 4:00 and 6:00, I was promised a supervisor each time, and no one ever showed up. My drain was clogged on saturday, sunday, monday, and tuesday. And now I have to call a different plumber to get this situation remedied. This was a waste of time, energy, effort, and no resolution was found. What an unreliable company. I would not recommend them to anyone, there was no contact made by them, all contact was made by me and each time I was assured that someone would be coming out. read more

Three NO CALL NO SHOWS, one SHOW UP NO call, 5-8 lies (I lost count), and one of the no call no shows was for TWO days during a sewage outage. In other words, the company started the work, didn't show up the next day during an emergency, and left me hanging for 2 days without sewage. As a result of the first no call no show, a manager named Matt took over. He not only told me that his own company had lied to me about the no call no show, he promised he'd be the only point of contact so he could smooth things over. He didn't, and the very next day was the second no call no show. He also forgot about the toilet seal they were supposed to replace due to breaking it when they ran the jetter. Today is day 15 and they still haven't replaced the seal and they still haven't done the final inspection of the clean outs they installed. The job is still not done. The office actually told me that the owners contact info is unavailable and they don't have it. I found 5 contact numbers and his home address but he/she haven't returned my calls. Clogged Drain. Rooter Ranger arrived about 30 minutes after my call. The technician, Brandon, was very courteous and helpful. We located the Clean Out in our back yard.He then brought his electric snake out there and cleared the drain very quickly. He made a few suggestions for keeping the drain clear in the future and he also suggested a few additional services like putting a camera into the drain. For now we will see if the drain remains clear. Brandon worked quickly and I would recommend this company if you need a clogged drain cleared. quickly. Toilet clogged . They came out to unclog my toilet. The sink was also backed up. I do understand that they needed to crawl under my home to release the drain. The initial plumber told me that they would drain the debris into the crawl space under my home. I could get the drain rerouted to the exterior of my home so it would drain out side. We had a party for our daughters birthday and in the middle of everything all of our toilets backed up! There was sewage in the bathtubs, shower, and none of our toilets worked! We called at least 4 other companies before finding Rooter Rangers info and as an added bonus, they have a "$33 or free" promotion! We called and was told somebody would be to our house within 30 minutes! It took exactly 26 minutes for our tech to arrive! We had a lot of people at our house but he got right to work and within 15 minutes had everything draining again! What a relief! He recommended having the line scoped with a camera, but we didn't have that done this visit. He wasn't pushy and didn't try any scary sales tactics. Luis came out for a clogged drain and had it cleared in minutes. I had them take a look at a leaking toilet and they replaced the seal and also ran a drain cam while the toilet was off. Found a root had punctured the sewer pipes, so that was good to discover! I was gone for a couple months and when I came back the toilet had some water around the base. I called them and they were out within a couple hours. The leak was from a toilet top to bowl seal that had a small fold in it. Fixed that up and took the toilet off to check the seal as well and put a new seal in. All under warranty. read more
