They were polite and caring people - two young men showed up one worked one helped as needed -…read moreafter an hour and half working on bathroom sink and kitchen sink the one young man went under the house and discovered the kitchen pipe had a hole in it - within 5 mins he charged me $95 said he'd come back with boss with estimate next day - poof they were gone - never heard back from them Then next day we used Rooter Man, LLC again nice gentleman came - turns out they were all nephews in the family - then things turn to hell - we explained the issue and what happened and how we were abandoned - we agreed sink drain needed estimate - he went under and viewed the issue - decided to work on bathroom sink and fix that for $150 since we wasted $95 day before and they were nephews - he didn't have a watch or phone on him - 4.5-5 hrs later he fixed the bathroom clog - his boss called US TWICE to contact him and check on him because if time - gentleman admitted he lost track of time and didn't realize he'd been there that long - ended up charging us $361.25 - problem I had was he didn't track his time despite us telling him and checking on him - he promised to come back and give us estimate - no call next day - we called they denied knowing us we provided details - response "OH" - well we will be out after he finishes his current job for estimate - again no call another day no water usage - 4 days now Here's the issues I have - we were honest and said we were concerned about price because we are on disability - we were honest about it and said estimates would help - then find out both companies refused to come out for estimates because "we don't have money" our disability and senior status was used against us - I had an issue either this along with the extra costs for repair because person on site chose not to track his time - then denied service - then the gentleman threatened physical harm on me because I dared to question their actions and choices and said I had an issue with moving forward with a $100 check he was given - avoid Drain Master and definitely avoid Rooter Man, LLC in Toledo if your a senior citizen and/or on a fixed income these people will rip you off and treat you badly they have no respect or decency

He showed me one price of one thousand some dolllars for hydrogetting and another for just rootering it for $410 and said they come with a warranty. I didn't want to wait another week for someone else to give me a quote (which is probably exactly why they wont give quotes over the phone) so I just agreed to pay it. My sister for example lives in Bowling Green. She has had this done 4 times and pays about $250 and they get rid of the roots. I paid the $410 . When he was done he said there are roots and if you don't pay the thousand for us to remove them they say I can't give you the warranty. They should probably lead with that. I had called Todd's company, because I had a bit of water back-up in my floored basement, near my washer. (Note that I have not even used that washer for probably six months. Todd poked around inside the floor drain in the basement, and said he found some tree roots. He showed me a few little roots and some dark mud. (The soil outside is more orange). He told me to call Alternative Plumbing. A man came out (I believe the owners of the Company), and went to the basement. He said he would need to install a temporary sump-pump(as I had to go out-of-town the following week for a few days and, they would have to chop out some of the nice porcelain floor tiles to get a "temporary pump in." He said the cost would be $4,600.00 and then said he needed half the money immediately. I wrote him a check (he had done nothing), expecting him to come out the next day (between 12:00 and 3:00 as promised). He was supposed to come out today between 12:00 and 3:00 to install a temporary sump-pump. I was supposed to get a call before he came out by someone named Gabby. No one called. So I called their office at around 1:30. She said someone would be out. I asked when? She said soon. I asked what the owners name was and she said Gab. I had heard nothing at 3:00, so I called the office again. Gabby (the woman) said that he (Gab) was eating his lunch. (Since I was waiting for him to come, I did not have my lunch). I was not happy as they had caused me to loose half of my day - for nothing. It was very disrespectful for them to waste my valuable time. Around 3:30 two different men cam out: Garry and Don. They are now looking at the situation. (Don said he wasn't sure why he was sent, as he said he was a faucet guy). Don said he would try to help me It is now 4:09. UPDATE: Getting Better! The two gentlemen who ended up coming out at 3:30 (Garry and Bob) were actually a big help in getting a temporary sump-pump put in, and working to drain water away from my basement. Bob said they had been given a different time-range, than I had been told. This pump is only temporary, but they explained things, got the temporary pump-in and were courteous. I commend Garry and Bob. (The permanent sump-pump will go in later. I am praying that - that work is done with care, and quality in my tiled basement). I envisioned they would bring out excavation equipment and potentially replace the entire service to the house. Instead, the two men used a hand shovel to dig a 4'X4'x4' hole to find the leak. They were able to replace a 12" section of the service line and connect it to the city. They did a good job. They were on site for 5 hours. When they were done they asked for payment and said it would be $3500 dollars because it was more difficult than they expected. I refused because it was not in the estimate range given. Eventually I paid $2600, about $260 per hour per man.

He successfully fixed a toilet, resolved a water pressure issue, and installed a new shower head. He also pointed out an issue that could require service in the future. Had a bad experience with this company. Toilet wasn't working so I scheduled them to come between 8…read moream and noon and they did not arrive until close to 1 pm. They then quoted us 750$ to use a camera and snake the main line. After not being able to get the camera or wire to work, they said they would take 250$ off the price, but I was still charged 700$ for nothing to be done. After charing me, they then send me the "quote" and invoice. The quote they sent us was for 1500$ and was to "replace the toilet and sink" which was never discussed. They then said to fix the problem they would have to take up the floor and it would be upwards of 7000$. They said they would send me a detailed quote/estimate for this project so we know exactly what needs done, and after emailing and texting/calling them for days I have gotten no response.
