I needed a plumber who is reliable and found Rooter Shooter here on Yelp. I called and left them a voice mail and got a call back from Todd the next day and we set up an appointment for him to come check a slab leak I suspected I had. Todd came out the next day right at the scheduled time. Before he did anything, Todd was up front with the costs for finding and repairing the leak. He also said his fee to find the leak is absorbed into the repair if he does the work, but he does not pressure you into doing the repair with him. The diagnosis was a broken water pipe under the slab. I told him to go ahead and do the repair ASAP so he said it was a one day job he would be back at 9:00 a.m. the next day. The next morning he showed up right on time with his partner to do the repair. They identified the location of the leak with amazing precision and only removed two floor tiles. They were out of there in 7 hours. Todd is obviously very good at what he does. He may be a bit pricey, but he is a licensed contractor and at the end of the day, time is money for me as well so punctuality is imperative. I gave Todd a call after me and my dad tried snaking our own kitchen pipes to clear a clog. Called him up and he said he could be here first thing in the morning. So Todd came in and had done what we had asked him to do. He did suggest that we should hydrojet the pipe so that it would be a longer term fix and he gave us a great price on that. A couple of days later, there was water leaking from the ceiling of our laundry room, which was directly underneath the master bathroom. Had a scare yesterday when I saw a water puddle on the side of my house and inside the living room as well. I thought that it was a leak under the slab. I called Rooter Shooter to help. Todd came in within 2 hours with his sophisticated equipment and after 45 minutes I was happily informed that the leak was not in the slab but in the wall. Leaking 180 gallons a day into dirt under the slab is no laughing matter but, Todd's good humor and expertise.. and his highly technical Leakulator Leak Detector found the leak within an hour. He came back with reinforcements two days later. He cut the bad line and installed better than Copper PEX flexible tubing, ran it from the garage up through the attic, and down inside the wall between the two bathrooms and bypassed the bad section of plumbing.
