Never ending nightmare with this company. 1/16/19 I was rear-ended by a rooter solutions vehicle at approx 10:30 am. 2/6/20 I recently was rear ended by an employee with Rooter Solutions. The accident left me with damage to the rear bumper, frame of the car, and unable to close my trunk. At the scene of the accident I collected information from the driver that hit me and was given contact information for his boss, Sean. I was told that they did not want to supply me insurance information as they would handle the payment for repairs themselves. The employee has since been released. I contacted Sean on numerous occasions and was either told I would receive a call later in the day or was immediately forwarded to voicemail for a week and a half. I was then contacted by Alec whom informed me that they would pay for the damages and to be in contact when I had the final cost of repairs. I am unable to pick up my vehicle until it has been payed for. I have attempted to call the office and speak with Alec but he's either on another call or just stepped out. I have also been in contact over email and have not gotten a response in any means. There is no sense of urgency or importance. In addition, I wrote this review a day ago and was contacted by the company about 30 minutes after my review from a "personal" number to be asked if I could remove my review and I would be contacted with insurance information later in the day. I was then contacted at 730 pm to be told that an accountant and Alec would call me in the morning. Alec then calls me this afternoon 2/7 to tell me a broker will call me later in the day to which never happened. Still no resolution as my car continues to be out of my possession. I will continue to post and add to this review until this has been dealt with appropriately. This company holds themselves to a standard of reliability and trust but each employee I have had an interaction with have not represented this. 2/11 The company has since claimed that they have been trying to contact me and I have been unresponsive but come to find they all of a sudden have the incorrect contact information for me though they have been able to contact me previously and have been given the correct information numerous times. I have been carless for 3 weeks now, unable to work, and am at risk of my car being impounded at this point as the auto body can no longer reserve space for my vehicle that has already been repaired but not paid for. I have tried many times with the company for a week to try and get payment or any insurance information from them to which I finally received on 2/10 but still has not been resolved. 2/13 Not sure what is really going at this point as I have been supplied insurance information directly from the company but have contacted by another company as well that covers their business. At this point, I am no looking at more weeks without my car. read more

Thank you Rooter Solutions for all of your hard work on making my home look like nothing ever happened during and after you finished my main sewer line replacement. Before I met the guys at Rooter Solutions. I had a local plumber charge me approximately $200 twice a year to clear my main line for over 12 years!!! Ever since I bought my home!! Thank God he wasn't available on the Saturday I called Rooter Solutions for the first time. Within 30 minutes after my call to their office Miguel came out with his friendly smile and got to work right away. He pulled out roots out of my clean out and explain to me the reason why. All of this time I thought this was normal. Right after, Ernesto came over and ran a camera for me at no charge and explain to me the real situation. I had an orange burg pipe completely deteriorated, full of roots and caving in. I can't believe the other guy kept on charging me $200 to just run a cable and never diagnosed my problem properly, he really took me for a fool!! Rooter Solutions only charged me $54 and honor a coupon I had for the snaking of my drain and gave me a free estimate. I called them back to do the job after getting other estimates and I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They were always on time, they were clean during the work and every afternoon after they left. They were extremely polite to my wife, kids and mother in law. They kept me updated throughout the entire project and they even fixed an electrical outlet that didn't work anymore while waiting for inspection, for free!! This company is highly unethical, bordering on criminal. If you get one of their "$54 drain cleaning" coupons, DO NOT CALL THEM. Nobody pays $54, they will always find something to up charge. I decided to write a review today after talking to someone else I know who just got suckered by them. Here's how it works: you call based on the coupon and a really friendly guy sets the appointment. Then another really friendly guy shows up and starts the "drain cleaning". He will invariably find a "blockage" as he snakes the line that he needs to look at with a camera. Then his boss shows up with the camera, explaining that it's $275 but all that can be applied to any work that they do. Sounds ok, right? They'll then show you the "blockage" on camera, which is a bit like looking at a baby ultrasound--the average person has no idea what they're looking at. After that, they'll find a "problem" with your household plumbing that will cost many thousands of dollars to fix (especially if you live in one of the nicer neighborhoods in Santa Barbara). I laughed at them when they gave me their pricing, sucked up the nearly $450 I'd already incurred in camera fees and other charges and told them to get lost. I called a normal plumber the next day, and guess what? It was a clog. Took the guy less than 30 minutes to clear and there was nothing at all wrong with my pipes. These people are con artists, scumbags, and just generally horrible individuals and I hope they rot in hell for ripping off so many good Santa Barbara people. I explained the issue I was having with my garbage disposal and emphasized my need to have the repair done quickly. Rooter Solutions offered me a free inspection, free estimate, and promotional credit for the repair of my garbage disposal. They also worked with me on finding a date and time that works best for me. Due to their large availability, I was able to book a time that aligned well with my schedule. Fernando Galicia, the owner of Rooter Solutions, showed up himself to handle the job. After providing me with an estimate, as promised, Mr. Galicia completed the repairs and had my garbage disposal working in a short time after his arrival. I am very pleased with the quick response provided by Rooter Solutions and the work performed. It's like New Home Plumbing for my 60 year old home. Rooter Solutions under slab plumbing work was performed with no loss of history tile, in our home. Rooter Solutions, is a full service licensed plumbing contractor. Their service is excellent, creative, resourceful, and more than qualified for any plumbing job. My 65 year old home plumbing waste line came to its end of purposeful use. This included replacing Orangeberg tar wrapped tarpaper pipe, house to street. Under the concrete slab the cast iron waste line had rust corrosion on the hop and on the bottom of the line all the way through allowing migration into the earth. Replacing all the cast iron uncovered damaged copper water lines that were in contact with the galvanized steel waste lines buried together under the house. Rooter Solutions work performed: 1.) Dig and tunnel under slab foundation. 2.) Complete New Household Waste Line System. 3.) Complete New Household Fresh Water Line System. Out of desperation, we called another company when our kitchen sinks backed up and Rooter Solutions was all booked up for the day. Well, the technician from the other company was not able to clear the clog as their snake was too short ( ~38 feet) nor had a camera. This other company quoted us $850+ to come back the next day with more equipment and clear the clog. No thank you. We called Rooter Solutions and were able to get someone out that afternoon. Miguel C. came and was able to get the drains cleared out. He snaked the drain about 70 feet to unclog it and checked to flow in only about 30 minutes, bringing all necessary supplies. Miguel C. even laid out a mat underneath his work area--keeping everything clean and dry ( something which the other company failed to do, making a mess) and he tidied up afterwards (with his own Simple Green!). I was really impressed with the professionalism of Rooter Solutions with how smoothly everything went and came prepared to do the job. An efficient, reliable, and affordable plumbing service is hard to find, but Rooter Solutions is just that! read more

I had a main water line break last Friday in the afternoon. I called Rooter Solutions and they came out right away. Matt was the technician who initially came out and was able after digging until dark to divert the water gushing out to the street with a trench he made. This gentleman is amazing and a hard working man! The next day he came back with his manager Albert and gave me a quote and started right away on the replacement of my main water line. They worked even on their day off (Sunday) and came back on Monday to continue. They installed a temporary plastic line during the entire time they worked here so I was never without water to my home. This company goes above and beyond to help their clients. After the installation of my new pipe and inspection they backfilled and put everything back. My front yard looked better than when they started!! Our kitchen sink had been regularly backing up for years and was now not draining at all. We had it snaked twice with another plumber and I did it once myself. I called Rooter Solutions and they had a team out the next morning. The snake went in 30' then wouldn't go farther. They worked hard on it for 45 minutes and the snake wouldn't break through. Supervisor Sean recommended a hydro jet service because the drain was likely clogged with hardened grease and that past snake cleanings only left a small hole cleared. We went with the hydro jet cleaning and it was amazing to see the hardened grease chunks come out! The grease had been in there for years! Our drain is now completely cleared and is guaranteed for a year. Thank you Carlos T. and Jesse T. who worked and sweated so hard and Sean for calmly explaining the problem to a plumber skeptic. I'd been having problems with my toilets flushing properly for years. I called Rooter Solutions and Ernesto came round and using a camera, found 3 problems with the sewer line. He started by trying to fix the cheapest problem, a bad connection in the line and also installed a 2 way clean out. Unfortunately water was still collecting in the line in the house. He found the slope was going the wrong way and not flowing properly. Then he found roots blocking the whole pipe. He sent Juan and Victor round to excavate the line and replace the bad sections. It was a fairly major excavation in the house but the guys made it bearable and showed me all the repairs to show me that it was done correctly. They were all very polite and professional, and explained what was going on and needed to be done. And I got new low flow toilets so I have the best sewer system in the neighborhood. They answer the phone promptly, always find time for an appointment the same day, arrive within their stated window (with a call to let us know they're on the way), and don't try to upsell us. I hit up Arturo on a Friday afternoon because our bathtub wasn't giving out hot water. He got back to me super fast and even gave me a free fix to try first. Sadly the part was actually broken and needed to be replaced. But I really liked that he didn't just try to make a quick buck ..he actually wanted to help first, which was really cool and shows he's trustworthy. He drove far just to get to my place by today and swapped out the part fast and professionally. Now we finally have hot water again and we're so happy! Especially since another company came before, totally messed up the diagnosis, did a fix that didn't work and then told us they'd have to cut into our wall for like $2,500 plus drywall repairs.
