Excellent experience from start to finish. This is a busy company , yet they are easy to reach and quick to schedule. I got the feeling that they really understood how disruptive our plumbing problems were for our family and they cared about fixing them. Jose came out right away , got under my house, diagnosed the issue, and gave me options. He showed us photographs so we could clearly see what the problem was. Since they fixed the pipes the shower works better than it ever has . The repair was thorough, the team is professional and their pricing is the best you will find. Excellent work from a great team. Due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews on Yelp, I contacted Smart Choice Plumbing for an appraisal to replace my gas line. They responded quickly and arrived the next day to evaluate the project. We were informed that a valuation would be sent to my email that night. Our contractor assisted in negotiating with this company. An early red flag was the comment that shut-off-valves were not necessary- they are mandated by code. No formal measurements were taken. Smart Choice verbally stated the project would cost $12,000 (after hearing we had another offer for 9K) to my contractor, who informed them to email me the formal estimate. They never emailed me so I'm confused as to what the 12K would entail. 3 stars for failure to follow-through. If Smart Choice was not interested in the job, I would not have been upset. The job was tough and involved digging a 2-foot trench around our 60+ foot perimeter. I would have preferred they told me instead of waiting, giving me an outrageous projection, and failing to follow-through with emailing the cost for the project. Update: The owner of the company called me and threatened legal action for expressing my opinion through this yelp review. I have reduced their rating. If the company can send me evidence that they'd emailed me a detailed estimate on October 2nd, I would happily edit this review. read more

Smart Choice Plumbing installed our tankless water heater several years ago. We recently went to flush it for the first time and discovered an error in the way it was installed which was preventing us from completing the flush. We gave Jose a call just to see what could be done and he assisted us immediately. We were honestly shocked that their customer service spanned several years since our last encounter! Jose came to my house faster than a rat up a drain pipe. Both him and his coworker were very nice and professional. They solved the issue very quick. They also put these cute little shoe mittens on their shoes so they wouldn't track dirt in my house, it was super adorbs. Plus Jose's ponytail was fire. Woke up one morning and realized our water heater was leaking. It was also past warranty, so we were looking at a pretty expensive replacement job. We called Smart Choice on a recommendation from a friend. Jose was very friendly and responsive. He suggested a brand of water heater that is both economical and reliable. He also was able to respond to our house with a water heater and install it in about 2 hours. I was very pleased! Jose also installed an emergency pipe at the bottom of the water heater stand, so if something does happen, the water will drain out to the floor of the garage instead of around our furnace, which is next to the water heater.
